Transformers Targets Summer Geek-Out Offerings Revealed with Tonka Devastator and Street Fighter, Preorders Today

Thanks to preternia on twitter, we have our first look at the Target exclusive figures going up today as part of the Transformers section of the Target Summer Geek-Out event.

And talk about out of left field! The figures revealed include US releases of the Takara exclusive Street Fighter figures released years ago using Titans Return and Thrilling 30 figures. But the main attraction has to be the release of a Tonka x Hasbro collaborative Devastator, which is G1 Devastator decorated up as a set of Tonka construction vehicles, complete with Autobot symbols. This might be the rumored project: yellow figure as well, though we have no confirmation on that yet.

These figures should be going live on Target's website around 9 AM eastern time, though as we know, Target's systems could be finnicky and we might have to keep watch throughout the day to secure our orders.

Thanks to In Demand Toys on Facebook, we have our first full look at the upcoming Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee 4 pack! This is the 2nd 4 pack to be released, and follows last years pack with Blackarachnia, Nemesis Primal, Fangry, and Bumblebee.

We have known the contents of this pack for some time, but only gotten leaked images of 3 of the 4 figures. But now, we have the full set. The set is comprised of Ransack from Legacy Kickback, Skywasp from Kingdom Waspinator, toy colored Scorponok from Kingdom Scorponok, and the main attraction: a proper Goldbug using the exclusive VW beetle alt mode!

We do not yet know when the set will be going up on Target, But if you follow the above link, In Demand Toys already has the figure ready to go for those in the UK!

Thanks to Preternia on Twitter and the Transformers Facebook page, we have news that the latest wave of the Transformers Beast Wars reissue series has been revealed.

The newest batch of figures consists of 2 figures, and those 2 figures are Cybershark and Wolfang. Cybershark was previously revealed thanks to a walmart listing, while Wolfang has been rumored but is at last confirmed. Wolfang is the original Maximal release of the figure as well.

Both of these figures are set to be released for Preorder this Thursday March 24 at 1:00PM EST, so stay tuned for those preorders, which will be part of Walmart Collector Con.

Thanks to Preternia on Twitter and the Transformers Facebook page, we have news that the latest wave of Transformers RED series has been revealed.

The newest wave consists of 2 figures, and those 2 figures are G1 Shockwave and G1 Galvatron. As is the RED standard, these are non-transforming 6-inch figures that try to be accurate to the cartoon designs. While we only get 1 image of each for now, we can expect further images to be coming soon.

Both of these figures are set to be released for Preorder this Thursday March 24 at 1:00PM EST, so stay tuned for those preorders, which will be part of Walmart Collector Con.

Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian EvasionModeBumblebee, we have news that the initial bout of the new Transformers Micro Machines figures are up for preorder on Amazon. These sets include the previously leaked Bumblebee playset featuring the toy Camaro that transforms into a Micro Machines base, as well as some box sets that include a pair of dioramas and 8 figures, the first being a 2007 movie set, the 2nd a Revenge of the Fallen set, all using the classic stock art for the characters.

Gamestop is this week running a deal where they are offering 10-15% off select collectable figures. Those who are Gamestop Pro Members get 15% off, everyone else gets 10% off. This deal includes preorders, which includes several new and highly desired figures.

Amazon.com Currently has most of the new wave available in stock, including the deluxe class Brawn, Wheeljack, and Ratchet, as well as the core class Shockwave and Ravage. To make matters better, Ravage is currently on sale at $8.49, and Ratchet is on sale for $19.99.
