On the heels of the newest reveals, four Earthlings rise to discuss all things New York Comic Con 2019. Join Megatronus in a chat with Hasbro's John Warden for an overview of everything Earthrise, then stay tuned for host ScottyP alongside Counterpunch, xRotorstormx and Cobotron as they confabulate on the coming future of Transformers.
Any Con is an exciting time for Transformers fans, but it would seem NYCC has become our window into the coming year and all that the newest lines will have to offer.
Here's what the Twincast spied through that window:
Megatronus chats with Hasbro's John Warden on the NYCC show floor for a fantastic overview of Earthrise and what fans have to look forward to in this upcoming lineup.
The first thing the regulars did NOT discuss was Haslab Unicron! More on that another time.
We dive right in to the Con reveals with our first look at The War for Cybertron: Earthrise. Who's ready to do it all over again, and who has their reservations?
"There is a theory called, The Mobius. A twist in the fabric of space.
Where time becomes a loop. - Lt. Worf
Next we take a look at Cyberverse. Will the new Deluxe Class (or is it Warrior?) boasting higher complexity and more articulation draw in the Generations crowd to this perceived "kiddie" line?
Vitamin Bee Complex
We also wonder how many Cyberlicks it will take to get to the Energon center of Maccadams Pop?
This round's on me!
We close out the 'cast by analyzing battle strategies with the introduction of the new faction, Mercenaries to the Transformers Trading Card Game. Did Cobotron just find new friends to play this table slapper of game with?
If you don't get it the first time, back up, Detritus again

It's time again for a fanciful trio of Transformers enthusiasts to blast a Twincast Podcast for our listeners! Join our host ScottyP, as well as Megatronus and newly minted regular cast member Cobotron as they jam to the most recent Transformers news and more.
There are some juicy rumors being bandied about anticipating War for Cybertron Wheeljack, Hoist, and more. Cliffjumper before Bumblebee? That’s giving me the vapors.
We take a crack at IDW’s Transformers: Galaxies #1 (preview ]here) and have good things to say because it’s good. Real good. In fact, we recommend checking out episode 229 for an interview with the writer and artist Tyler Bleszinski and Livio Ramonedelli to get an inside glimpse of how this gem came to be.
At long last, our Classics retrospective continues with Universe 2.0. Learn the highlights, lowlights, and what’s held up over time.
…also, did I mention our general enthusiasm for Ultra Class? We miss Ultra Class. Next time on the Classics retrospective: we complete the bridge towards Generations.
We end the show like we always do - with a round of healthy bragging rights. What have we acquired since the last show? Some big and interesting things, to be sure…

Thanks to Seibertronian xRotorstormx, we have news of an article which is of interest. In a recent Goldman Sachs conference in New York, Brian Goldner, Hasbro CEO had plenty to be excited about. This year so far, Hasbro stock is up 45%, and a large part of that is due to the strong performance of the Transformers brand, among others.
Hasbro has also been busy acquiring Canadian media company Entertainment One, which gives them ownership of Peppa Pig and PJ Masks, and a bigger presence in the preschool market, which Rescue Bots is aimed at.
"Kids are increasingly engaged with characters and story," Goldner said, talking about the need for Hasbro to own the rights to top media brands.
.
Speaking of top media brands, Hasbro's acquisition of eOne means that they now own the music catalogs of Death Row records, Tupac Shakur, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg among that label's most famous artists. Might we see a collaboration between them? A Snoop Doggimus Prime redeco of MP-10, anyone?
One other interesting point of interest is Hasbro's increasing business with retailers after the demise of Toys R Us. This would explain the increasing number of Amazon exclusives (Greenlight, Siege multipacks), Target exclusives (Rainmaker trio, Battle Damaged Studio Series Megatron), and Walmart (35th Anniversary Siege figures, Vintage G1 reissues), where exclusives were regularly sold via the defunct toy retailer.
Check out the full article here, and let us know what you think of Hasbro's news. As always, if you have any Transformers related news, please let us know!
Welcome to the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast Episode Number 230, where Primes abound and ghosts are haunting. Join your host ScottyP as he welcomes xRotorstormx and D-Maximal_Primal for a discussion that delves into the depths of 3 Convoys (or Optimus Primes), some Generations Selects, and some more G2 goodness. Are you ready to dive into the Opti-verse?
We start off with some opening thoughts from ScottyP who has the new MP-44 Optimus Prime in-hand.
Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost (Actual cost between $300 and $450)
Next up, we delve into the War Stories from the San Diego Comic Con exclusive hunting session. One member suffered a particularly bad sense of luck.
We ain't afraid of no ghost, but we are afraid of 60-second availability
Exclusives segue into some Generations selects talk, where we talk the awesome paint on Nightbird, the sheer doofy fun of Zetar, and the camera package of Refraktor.
We check in on Cyberverse season 2 as it kicks off, with some heavily spoilerific talk about the first 2 episodes. You can watch the first episode here.
Story time with ScottyP continues with the next Bio from the Grandreams Generation 2 Annual
We also throw in some talk about the newly revealed Masterpiece Burning Convoy, and what we think of this clear candy Convoy.
Flaming Munky!
We wrap up the episode in our typical fashion: Bragging Rights, complete with some Diakron.

Were you a fan of the stop-motion videos that Hasbro Taiwan put out earlier this year, featuring the War for Cybertron: Siege line? Here's another gem from the official YouTube account of the Transformers brand, showcasing Optimus Prime, Hound, and especially, Six Gun, as a Weaponizer, combining with Optimus.
While these do showcase figures that have been out for some time, the video is beautifully done, with great animation and awesome 80s laser sound effects.
Would you like to see more of this style of animation to advertise the figures and play systems, or do you just think they're fun videos? Let us know below!
Seibertron.com is excited to share our conversations with the creators of the soon-to-be-released Transformers: Galaxies "Constructicons Rising", Tyler Bleszinski and Livio Ramonedelli! *What's the creative process been like for you? How much is HASBRO involved? How are Livio's visuals influenced...story setting, expectations of HASBRO, or free rein?
*Livio and Tyler address a listener question from Aarnhide19 about combiners..
*The creative duo give their final thougts including how to try to get more new blood interested in the franchise.

Botbots do make there way into the conversation, but not much. When Tigertrack finally gets a Quackles, maybe he can get a $300 accessory to go with it.
Arr, there be Seacons for pre-order now! Gulf and Turtler are on our minds as well as Halfshell (whoops, I called him Hardshell), God Neptune, and Scylla.
How do you think we end the show? With bragging rights of course...
