I know this isn´t a ´rumor´ but I think it´s fairly important. You see, I just got back from Day 2 of Wizard World right here in Chicago. I had the opportunity to check out some of the G1 Reissues. You´ll all be happy to know that they do feature the chrome, rubber wheels, and die cast metal. The packaging is very G1-ish. Of course, the boxes were only mock-ups, so they could change. They appear to be a lot like the Takara re-issue boxes (ie. No top flap). Ultra Magnus missles were either on display wrong or they were altered. Prime comes with a GREY roller and his smokestacks are a bit shorter than the classic G1 version.
Also on display was God Ginrai. It appears he will be sold (again as a TRU exclusive) in English Powermaster Optimus Prime packaging. No word yet on what Godbomber´s name will be changed to.
This is all subject to change before August 15th though.
As for the armada figures: These are absolutely incredible. Pictures do not do them justice. I can´t state enough just how incredible Starscream and Super Optimus Prime look. These are some of the best transformers we´ll ever see. The detailing on them is amazing. Even the mini-cons look nice and feature quite a bit of detail work in vehicle mode.
Hasbro reps wouldn´t comment on the new movie though...

Here´s an
IMAGE from the Hasbro booth at Wizard World Chicago.
Not bad, seeing God Ginrai at Hasbro´s booth is kind of...Odd. Guess that puts to rest the "is Godbomber going to be included" question.

Two parts to this rumor.
It looks at though Takara will be re-issuing Star Saber. However, there´s an outside chance that they will re-issue Victory Leo as well. More on this soon, but I wouldn´t go buying any Victory Sabre giftsets off ebay for at least 2 months...

A multi-region headmasters DVD is being produced. However, this won´t be the horrible dubbed versions. Oh no. These will be in the original glorious japanese. Also, the original translation will NOT be used. You won´t see the name ´Billy´ anywhere on that thing!
Good news for those who want the series but don´t have a region 2 player AND can´t stand to have Sparkle talk to Billy again...

I´m sure that you´ve all been wondering just what´s going on with Hasbro´s Fortress Maximus release. Well, here´s the latest from my source:
The quality control issues are true. As many of you have found out, bringing over a huge amount of Fort Max figs is neither easy nor cheap. When Hasbro tried to bring a bunch of them over on a cargo ship they arrived in, well, let´s just say they didn´t hold up well. Hasbro is currently trying to resolve the problem of getting the japanese Brave Max figs over to the US shores.
At least they´re not sending mangled Maximi to stores.
