website regarding the Transformers 20th Anniversary DVD. Here is what is posted on DIRECTV's site:

IGN.com has just posted their review of the upcoming Transformers the movie DVD. They have an pretty in-depth revuew if the DVD, a few comparison shots between the old and remastered version and even an few images of the DVD menu.
....Overall, the Transformers: The Movie (20th Anniversary Special Edition) is absolutely worth buying since it not only offers vastly improved picture and sound but a spectacular collection of bonus materials and extras. In fact, for animation fans, social historians, or even just collectors of cultural artifacts, this is definitely one of the must-buy DVDs in 2006. And even if this is my final review for IGN DVD - should the kind and generous Mr. Carle decided that our difference of opinion is an employment deal-breaker - at least I can find solace in the fact that I took one of the year's best DVDs with me when I left....

The
BBFC, which reviews and rated video related product to go onsale in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe, has reviewed and rated Metrodome's DVD box of Transformers: Victory. They have rated it U. You can find their
results on their website.
Initially targeted to a early september release, which had to be pushed back due to the fact that the BBFC kept delaying the results on their findings for this box, without which the title cannot be released,
play.com has the Victory DVD dated for a December 26th release.

More bad new for the UK DVD releases. According to
Play.com, the UK release date for Transformers: The Movie - 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition 2-disc title has been pushed back to a
March 26th 2007 Release.
Earlier today the
BBFC, which reviews all titles to be released in the UK for their ratings, updated their site with the latest titles they reviewed. However, a quick search reveals that neither the 1986 Transformers movie, nor the highly anticipated Transformers: Victory box are on the list.

I recently received this message from our good friend Daniel Chlebowczyk who is the Transformers Product Manager at Madman Entertainment in Australia. According to him, the DVD set will be released in Australia on November 8th, 2006. As usual, it will once again feature images from SEIBERTRON.com's very own toy galleries to highlight the toy products featured in Season 3. The newest promotional material for this set can be found at

I’m very pleased to announce a special update to www.beastwars.com.au – as you’ll see we feature all three seasons of Beast Wars and screens from S3, but the best new feature is a video preview of the Voice cast interviews from the set. I interviewed Scott McNeil, Alec Willows, David Kaye and Garry Chalk along with animators from Mainframe, all of which are featured on the DVD along with some great commentaries. This is definitely the best of the bunch!
Of course, Seibertron has played an important role, with the wonderful toy galleries included on the set which is released on Nov 8th.
