Not only does he have a review up for the new Earthrise Wheeljack but he also took time to make a video review of Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece MP-19+ Smokescreen. This rerelease is made with a more cartoon accurate look, including a new face. He goes through all the accessories and changes in the video below.
I just uploaded a review of the Mp19+ Smokescreen and showcased some of its updates from the original release.

2020 is here and while we have the 2020 toys from both the Cyberverse and Studio Series line appearing in stores, the Transformers Earthrise line is nowhere to be found. But, and this is always a good sign, Hasbro's promotional campaign for the line is in full swing. Below you can see several promotional quick transformation videos that In Demand toys posted on Facebook. Those include Leader Class Optimus Prime, Voyager Class Grapple, Voyager Starscream, Deluxe Ironworks, Deluxe Wheeljack, Deluxe Cliffjumper and Deluxe Hoist.
Of all the simpler figures out there, the Tiny Turbo Changers are the ones fans seem most fond of. Mostly because, the simplicity feels rather appropriate for that size, similarly to Bot Bots, and it works as an offering for the lowest price point. Well, thanks to Sabrblade and Awesomepow, we have official images of the alt mode for series 3. These were found on deepdiscount.com, but they are not discounted. This is our first glimpse at Arcee, Ratchet, Whirl and the others (all listed below). Chromia is mistransformed in those images, which is why it's fortunate that Nimama on Facebook had previously posted an image of Chromia properly transformed, which can also be found below.
Here is a full list of series 3:
Bumblebee
Dead End
Stealth Force Hot Rod
Chromia
Arcee
Optimus Prime
Megatron X
Autobot Whirl
Autobot Ratchet
Grimlock
Skrapnel
Jetfire
While Botbots Series 4 is only recently hitting shelves and online retail, listings for Series 5 have already started to appear at Entertainment Earth. While you may have just clicked that and noticed its "wave 4" verbiage, eagle-eyed Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 gave us a heads up that this listing appears to really be for Series 5, as its described contents are for two teams not yet released in previous assortments. TF-fan kev777 explains what to look for below:
TF-fan kev777 wrote:So I was snooping around Entertainment Earth's listing for the Botbots Series 4 5-packs and 8-packs to see if they were in stock when I noticed that they are using "wave" instead of "series" like on the packaging, but also, they have the 5-packs as wave 4, but the 8-packs as wave 5, both coming in January 2020. But I also noticed couple Listings for Botbots wave 4 8-packs without any photos yet and due in February 2020.
I think they actually mixed up the waves on these listings and actually gave us some sneak peek info on some new tribe themes for series 5. The link below is for 1 each of the Travel and Asian Food 8-packs. https://www.entertainmentearth.com/prod ... /hse3494dd
Botbots is no stranger to food-themed teams, with Series 1 teams like the Greaser Gang and the latest Series 4 team the Los Deliciosos, so there are plenty of repaint and retool opportunities in the existing group to support another food-themed set.
Thanks again to TF-fan kev777 for pointing this out to us, and keep it here at Seibertron.com for the latest Botbots news as we receive it.
Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian o. supreme, we have word that Amazon.com is running some pretty good figures up for discounted prices, among which are several of the Amazon exclusive figure sets.
Up first, we have the Fan Vote 3-pack, which was originally priced at $69.99. The figure set is exclusive to Amazon, and is now priced at $50.41, a nearly 30% savings from the original price. The set contains the Holo-Mirage, Decepticon Impactor (with IDW head), and powerdasher Aragon.
Up next, we have the Autobot Alphastrike Counterforce, which was originally $49.99. This Amazon exclusive is also discounted, down to $35.35, an approximately 30% savings.
And finally, under the generic Siege search, we have several discounted figures, which include an Impactor for $13.50, a $15 Sixgun, and $27 Galactic Man Shockwave, among others.
check out the deals, and let us know if you spot any more great deals or if you pick up any of these figures below!
Thanks to regular reviewer and fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg1999, we have, for your viewing pleasure, a review of the recently released-out-of-nowhere Cyberverse Quintesson Invasion set! As we reported recently, Target stores have been stocking these sets, though there's no official word on whether or not they're exclusive to that chain in the U.S.
Is this a set you plan on picking up? Though Prowl and Shockwave seem unchanged from their Spark Armor figures, this is the first time we've seen a Quintesson Judge in any official toy release. Enjoy the review, and let us know what you think below!
Another year, another new Studio Series wave, another Bumblebee! Thanks to Seibertronian PrimeVsPrime, we have a look at upcoming Wave 9's Deluxe Class Offroad Bumblebee, a brand new mold with some fun transformation points, and sporting his first Earth mode. PrimeVsPrime has some good size comparisons so you can see just how well he matches up with others in the Bumblebee series.
This iteration of 'Bee looks great and has enough to offset any potential Bumblebee figure fatigue. Are you going to add him to your collection? Let us know what you think below!
This weekend, a Target store in Gurnee, IL (home of Chicagoland's Six Flags Great America theme park) debuted a dedicated Transformers end cap, which mostly featured Transformers Cyberverse products. And just for fun (because we can), check out this animated GIF of Hasbro's first 5 headed Quintesson Judge. Could this Quintesson lead to more? With rumors of an Alicon and others, perhaps 2020 will become the year of the Quintessons!
Thanks to Seibertronians aronjlove, Nemesis Primal, and Awesomepow, we have news that even more listings have showed up in the Walmart database, indicating that we have a slew of Earthwise figures itching to be revealed.
The listings include a deluxe Alicon, indicating that this really could be the year of the Quintessons, as we have Cyberverse and Generations Quintessons coming in multiple forms, as well as their minions. the 2nd character on the listings is Airwave, which is a new character that will most likely be based on the Airport Micromaster station from Generation 1, in a manner similar to Ironworks. The 3rd listing is a new deluxe Arcee figure; as to which Arcee this will be, whether using the Power of the Primes Moonracer mold, the Siege Chromia mold, or a new mold is yet to be determined. The final listing is for Smokescreen; while we did get a Smokescreen in selects in Siege, we could see a more Earth mode related alternate mode for Generation 1 Smokescreen, or it could be a left field Armada Smokescreen.
The listings can be found below from Walmart. We can assume that we will get a full look at the listed figures soon, as New York Comic Con is next month and last year we got a slew of reveals just prior to that show. Check out the listings, and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
