Seibertron.com member s250 has updated us with some
spoilers for the upcoming Transformers Animated Season 3. These spoilers include a major list of new characters and a possible plot direction, as well as, some history on some of our favorite ninja bots, and Elite Guard members.

"Maybe season 3 is influenced by Kung-Fu Panda, there are a lot of kung-fu elements, such as Prowl having to perform TaiChi to open the door.
Prowl's master named Yokoiron, is killed by Lockdown.
Sentinel Prime met Black Arachnia, knocked off her helmet by lance, and was shocked by the face under helmet.
Jazz, Ultra Magnus, Dai Atlas, all ninja tribe.
Heavyload, one of ninja tribe ancestor, just a bust, no show.
Warpath, other ninja tribe ancestor, in Prowl's memory, and has a barrel on his chest...."

Andrew Wildman may have let the cat out of the bag with his most recent blog posting. According to his blog, he was requested to draw a "convention special toy" that turns Energon Starscream into Skyquake. Considering there are only so many conventions, and that we already know that Thunderclash will be in the Botcon boxset, it may be safe to say that this figure may be one of the souvenir figures available at the show. This also may give us insight into what other molds they may be using as well.

On the forum of
TDRS Music the following statement was made. Composer, Vince DiCola, best known for scoring the 1986 Transformers: The movie animated feature, has submitted a new track for consideration to be used for
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Whether or not the track will be used is still unknown at this time. But the track entitled 'Bound and Gagged', which features the vocals of Rick Livingstone, is free to be downloaded now. The following has been directly taken from the

Vince has a song being considered for the new Transformers movie due this summer. The final songs have not been chosen yet. S250 makes us consider this question,
"Is the 3rd Season of Animated, the final season?"
It seems just as the new Animated series was beginning to win over fans, and really hit its stride, bringing in new and interesting characters and plot lines, and having more than a few cliff hangers from Season 2 to try to wrap up for us, we hear this possible rumor. But when
S250 is involved it is not really a rumor, but ends up being a fact quite often. We hear not only the end is near for the show, but he also brings us information that the season will feature the death of a major character, and that there seemed to be a season 4 in the works as well.
So if you are on the prowl for new animated news, you may want to check out animated's chief designer
Derrick Wyatt's blog at
'A Delightful Tedium' to see if he says anything about this, or other topics of interest. To this point, he is expectedly quiet about it.

Seibertron.com is getting word from several sources, including
Comingsoon.net, that the release date for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has been moved up two days, from June 26th 2009 to
June 24th.
We have not received confirmation from any official source - so until we do, treat this as a rumour.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen related news, including the upcoming teaser trailer premiering with the Michael Bay-produced Friday the 13th remake (opening tomorrow night) and premiering online on monday the 16th.

In what seems to be an ongoing breakdown of relations between movie producing companies
Universal Studios and
Dreamworks SKG, talks have ended regarding the distribution rights for Dreamworks films by Universal.
Seibertron.com previously reported on the distribution agreements with both Universal and Reliance films looking to retain Dreamworks
here.. But as this most recent report shows, the original deal thought to be made between Universal Studios and Dreamworks was never finalized and Reliance films apparently did not have the financial backing sought by Dreamworks owner, Steven Speilberg.
In a recent article posted at
Reuters.com it is reported that Universal had "broken off" weeks of distribution discussion when Spielberg's company "demanded material changes to previously agreed upon terms."
Dreamworks is reported to be in talks with
Walt Disney Studios in search of a distribution deal, according to a insider.
What this could mean for future film releases such as the Transformers sequels remains to be seen. Walt Disney Studios has featured much success in the movie distribution field showing its ability with multiple cartoon feature releases such as
Aladdin and
Atlantis: The Lost City.

After a
various number of
hints and even
Hasbro not refuting the rumours that they planned to make a Toy of Shane McCarthy's "Drift" Character from his Comic book series "All Hail Megatron", comes an indicator that Drift may not actually be receiving the toy treatment.
Thanks to a Q&A Session with Hasbro Australia, posted on the
OTCA Boards it seems that for now there has been no indication that a toy version of Drift is in the pipeline:
A comic book website last week with writer Shane McCarthy confirmed the upcoming 'Autobot Drift' toy. Will this be in the 25th line, and when is it likely to be released?
No, there is no character named Autobot Drift or any toy designed after the comic character coming out in our 25th Anniversary or any other Transformers line.
So not only does it appear that Drift will not be part of the 25th Anniversary line, as yet there are no plans for a Drift toy in any upcoming Transformers line. However this does not rule Drift out from getting the toy treatment in the future.

Thanks to our friend over at TFormers for letting us know that Chris Ryall, IDW Editor & Chief has stated that a Drift figure is still in the pipeline. He goes on to say that it may be as simple as branches outside of Hasbro US not being fully aware of future products are. (It has happened in the past).
To quote Mr. Ryall: "All indications are that it's still coming,"

One of the most respected writers of the Transformers lore, Simon Furman, was recently interviewed by
MTV. This may not come as a big surprise to most fans, but Furman confirmed in the
article that the new Michael Bay movie, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, will
NOT feature any of the Dinobots. The British writer goes on and explain why he believes that this should not be seen as a bad thing.
"
The movie-verse feels quite different to me, with its own audience and far more rooted in the real world, and Dinobots wouldn't necessarily be a great fit. Sure, if they could come up with an appropriate rationale and integral reason for them being in there, fine, but it’d need to be good, otherwise it would all start to verge on the kitsch".

The Movie Reporter has posted some rumors that have recently popped up. At this time, there is no reason to believe that
these rumors are true. Or that the person who reported these knew exactly what was going.
Supposedly, this person was an extra on the set of the movie at the White Sands and Hollomans locations and posted these on the
LS2 Forums The following has been taken directly from the article. Please keep in mind that The Movie Reporter is not reporting these as fact, but a possible rumors to take with a grain of salt.
POST #1 -
Can't wait...i'm in it as an extra.
I am a Navy Seal doing a battle scene against the Decepticons. I filmed out at White Sands and on Hollomans flight line. Filmed for 4 days and had a blast. Tons of pics on my Facebook.
POST #2 - MAJOR SPOILER CONTAINED!!
No.I had to chase a bunch of villagers out of the area because the Decepticons were attacking, then -->> had to protect Optimus Prime's corpse <<--. There were a shitload of us out there.
The food and catering was awesome. A lot of downtime. Just like a deployment.
I did an interview for the DVD. We will see if that is on it too. The asked me a bunch of questions about the military. The autobots are behind me on top of a sand dune. I did a GM plug. They liked that.
Micheal Bay loves the military. I got to speak with him very briefly. He gets so angry on set at the actors but doesn't dare yell or demean the military. It was a trip. He said something to me like do you want a job as a DA (Directors Assistant), I said hell yeah. He was getting pissed at his DA. His DA was like trust me you dont want this job.
I have two closeup shots if they do decide to put them in the movie. One was walking with the camera on the tracks going along with me but at a slower pace. The camera was right on the side of my face following me but at a slower rate. There were two others behind me. The other close up was while I was defending from a corner of a building on one knee. The boom camera went from the ground to over head of us all. I was up front in the scene. The camera came up to my face then began to ascend over the area. It was pretty cool.
Another scene was Optimus getting dropped off by a chinook. I had to run up to the area then stop as Optimus was getting dropped.
Another was with Josh and Tyrese when they argue with The President on the flightline. I am in the background.
As much time as I spent filming (9-10 hours a day for 4 days) I hope I am seen at least once. Hell I'll be happy to be on teh DVD.

Maybe some one should edit the name of the thread.
Don't know if he stays dead, if it is in the begining or the end of the movie. They were secretive.
They never refered to him as being dead. They always said his body. So there no spoiler.

TFW2005- The excitement for the U.S. Toy Fair is building as HASBRO presents at other toy fairs throughout the world. We recently had a report from the
Canadian Toy And Hobby Fair sharing some new information about the toys to come for the Transformers sequel.
Now
streetfield1 shares many pieces of information that were revealed there about not only the movie toys, but about the movie as well.
Apparently they showed animatics of movie bots and there is huge (literally) info surrounding it. Quite a few previous rumors were confirmed. Have your salt shaker ready as you read some of the responses from the poster below.
