Amazon has updated their 2012 Transformers Special Edition Wall Calendar preorder with new preview images. The calendar is listed for $11.55 and scheduled to release on August 1st, 2011.

yeah, because these are all pages straight out of the recent IDW comics.
I considered a similar Marvel calendar last December, but the 'calendar' parts are almost useless and the pop-out wasn't very well done.

Ok, thanks for the preview pics. Now I know I'll pass.
Now seriously, EJ Su, Figueroa, Nick Roche... they've all provided outstanding artwork through these last few years. Escalation had the best Prime/Megatron fight I've ever seen, Stormbringer had insanely beautiful art/colors and amazing designs, Last Stand of the Wreckers had Overlord and Impactor, for God's sake... and all we get is All Hail Megatron?
I really don't get it. Well, perhaps it's because Guido's work looks more G1-cartoon and it will appeal to kids?
Boy I was SO getting this calendar. At least now I'll spend my money on another deluxe figure.

Well, it was a ruff time for him personally as far as I know there where family issues and he was ill for most of the run.
