Last month during SDCC 2012 we learned that most of the Asian Exclusive Transformers Generations figures would be making their way Stateside later this years as Toys"R"Us exclusives, however this figure was noticeably absent from the displays and official images. For the moment Brawn seems to be in limbo in terms of a domestic release.

Assuming this is real. Wow. This is why I lost interest in Hasbro. Well not this. But ugly shit crap jokes like this. What happened to Transformers man? I swear it's like Hasbro said " eff it guys, this junk is for kids so let's just pump out a bunch of garbage, and sell real toys to adults under 3rd party flags"
I mean. Look at this piece of shit. Then look at a pic of Hench. I'm done. No Im not. Still ranting. This is the kind of ugly crap that makes me suprememly happy to have grown up in the Gobots, G1, Robotech era.
Transformers is (the toys lately) a joke. I'm sure there will be a white knight to shoot down my opinion and scold me for having an opinion. Enjoy your 'brawn'... I'm gonna go buy a Jeeper Creeper or some shit, I need a dose of robot action figure after looking at this shit.
end rant.

Now THAT'S a Brawn!
Sure, he's all big and Bulkheady and whatnot, but come on, does the original normally proportioned mini-bot Brawn really scream STRENGTH like this body form does? I think not!
The only issue I really see here is the coloring. Yellow and silver are really needed to drive home the G1 Brawn feel and thus compliment the G1-esque head mold. With colors not much different from the original mold's, it actually draws attention to the fact that this is simply a new head slapped on Prime Bulkhead's body.
Why don't they like to fully think these things through at Hasbro?

That said, I might pick be up if it makes it stateside, as I adore the FE Bulkhead mold. Probably not be arsed to pay import prices if not.

That mold is soooo out of context to Brawn in every form and fashion.
Piss poor Classics release if you ask me. Lazy.

I lol'd heartily from that.dedcat wrote:no... more... pie... (burp)
There's gotta be a novelty to that. An episode where Brawn grows oversized and he one-mans the entire 'con army? That time when the attributes of every character get reversed? SG Brawn, where he's really HUEG, but a total pussy? A robo-genie comes to him and Wheelie and grants them a bigger size?Gauntlet101010 wrote:The head really screams "Brawn". But that body is comically oversized.
So many strange things can come from this figure. It's just so absurd.

Great head, but this mold is a one-time use.

I’m not sure why you consider a new head sculpt to be lazy.
A straight repaint would be lazy, calling the character a name that has a weaker visual identity could arguably be considered lazy (Powerdive, while lovely, contained very little Powerdive for instance and few people minded).
Sure, Brawn may not work as Brawn (I’ll reserve my opinion until in hand photos surface) but to call it lazy is incredibly unfair.
But honestly, call this the straw, because to hell with this forum.
I’m honestly not sure how everyone summons such vehement hatred for anything produced post circa 1988 on a daily basis and I’m honestly not sure why the loudest and more obnoxious fans feel quite so entitled and deserving of Hasbros undivided attention, especially considering just how loud and obnoxious they are but the bile that comes from this forum is inexcusable.
Not everything Hasbro produce is pure gold but the way this forum reacts is just embarrassing when you consider that behind the keyboards are not 12 year olds but chaps in their middle ages with 12 year olds.
Yes, you have opinions and I’m sure it’s a lovely and unique snowflake of a thing but take a deep breath before posting, considers maybe, that this limited release retool is not the worst thing to happen to your family, that Hasbro is not threating to drown a loved one unless you make the purchase and show an ounce of fucking class before responding.
But like I say, my toys have long exited the pram, so carry on.

That's this fandom for ya. Half of us are stuck in the past and treat every new thing as a direct insult. It's best to ignore them, they don't respond to things like logic or reason.
I do think the head doesn't match the body. Just like that Cliffjumper and G2 Megatron, it's a completely different aesthetic and they don't work together. It's like putting a baby's head on an adult body.

A couple months ago everybody was going head over heels for FE Bulkhead. Now it's the devil spawn, because the head is different.
I don't expect everybody to like everything, or agree with everybody, but when people start to disagree with themselves because the head is different.... They need to consult psychologist..
Seriously, the head is so offensive, a once praised mold for its greatness, and cartoon accuracy is now complete crap?
Anyway, I like it, if I can get my hands on one I will. And if this may be the only way to get FE molds rereleased over here then fine. The head to me is fine, sure it's not Primish, but it works to identify the character, and the color scheme is close enough to bulkhead for it to work as.ri,e Bulkhead.

He has a point though. People aren't saying the mold is bad. The head makes it look goofy as all hell. I'd like to imagine he waddles like a damn penguin when he walks. (Someone PLEASE make a stop motion video of this!) That Mold is awesome and will always be, but one little thing like that can ruin it. The Asian exclusive Cliffjumper being another perfect example

That's all relative to the ammount of money you have invested in them. If you only have a few figures you bought from wal-mart or something yeah, I can see that. But if you have spent more on just your transformers than the price of a mid-size car...you have to be somewhat emotionally attached to them, otherwise you wouldn't have spent that kind of money.

Im obviously a fool and no doubt somebody will call me one for having this opinion. Krok is right, way too many people on here fly off the handle way to quick and to ridiculous extremes and now we've got the new trend of people that take a perfectly sensible and valid point like the immature responses and act like ignorant dicks trying to shoot it down. I know theres a few intelligent asshats among the vocally immature minority, but dont say youve got a right to express your opinion and then shoot down those who point out youre being a dick. coz youre just being more of a dick. i could rant all day on the abuse the freedom of speech has suffered and how it doesnt excuse lack of manners, but hey, im a brit, what do i know, america gave us freedom... oh wait.....
If you dont like it, youre not going to buy it, yet we have these lovely nerds that post 500 words rants on the utter shittiness of toys that others may like. Im not going to shoot down UltraMason's post, hey the guy has the right to his opinion, even if its childish and over dramatic, but he's totally ENTITLED to express himself, just like im ENTITLED to call every opinionated, entitled, over dramatic whiney nerd a joke to the fandom for behaving in such a childish, pathetic manner over plastic toys

Oh trust me I have enuf of them I used to have over 600 TFs I was missing 4 figures from the dc universe classics line and I had all sub lines and Matty figures not even released yet. 300 marvel universe figures a hefty amount of dc direct figures. But in the end I sold almost everything except anything chug related and prime and a couple Radom batman and green lantern figures. I had every single DOTM figure released in Americas Retail stores plus the last wave that never hit. Every human alliance figure almost every animated figure I didn't like the activators I even had the takara figures that didn't make it to the states. I have a ton of 3rd party including most FP sets. I have shattered glass Hotrod and henkei wildrider. And even after selling most of it except for chug figures I still have 300 TFs figures left. But the point is I'm attached to my figures but I sold all that so I can go places this summer with my family. I didn't have to sell them but I would rather have the extra cash to do more things with my family because no matter how much I love TFs I could never compair them to my beautiful wife and kids. And I don't think any other man in their right mind should either. Atleast I made YouTube videos to remember my figures by lol

When I first saw gdo cliff I thought he was bad but after I got him in hand I like him. It's just that everyone is so used to seeing his body on prime cliff. But once u get passed that he's a really good figure and I think brawn is gonna be the same way.
