I wish other figures could get so much attention.

There are too many bots to buy in the market and few money to get them, hahaha
One piece per mold is enough for me.

Banzaitrons colours are somewhat eye catching but only for a second really.

I care enough for the fiction, at least.Kibble wrote:Does anyone actually still care about these? It's pretty apparent this line is going nowhere so I really don't see the point. I suppose it is 'impressive' how much mileage they got out of so few molds, though. What, 16 figs out of 4 molds?

No surprise there

Sounds too much like work.

Wonder if it would even work...wouldn't the accent parts needed from Skywarp just be black since they did his colors backwards? I'd be happy to look at someone's pics if they do it, but I don't care enough about this line to even dream of doing it myself. The cash it would take would have you close to the funds necessary to just get MP-11 mold of Skywarp when it comes out.

I still care, but maybe it's naive to have the hope that I do for new molds. I just realllly want to see Ratchet and Soundwave hit the Alternity line.
In a new mold/molds, of course.

That said, Galvatron actually looks pretty nice, and the seeker mold looks better as Banzaitron than a seeker.
New Omen wrote:Galvatron is the Samurai and Bonzaitron has arm cannons. They really thought this one through didn't they.
But then there's that, lol...
Gauntlet101010 wrote:It doesn't take much more than a new head to make me want to pick up a new Galvatron. Sadly this doesn't even have that. I made my choice back in the Unicron Trilogy days: if all Unicron's reformatting involves is a can of purple spray paint then I can't be bothered to pay for it.
Except the Energon mold was clearly designed to be Galvatron.

I have all of the Nissan GTR figures, One Nissan Fairlady Z Silver Megatron, and all of the Seekers. I am not too keen on the Bumblebee and CliffJumper moulds.
I was actually excited at first to see these 2 new figures announced, even if they were the same moulds. The color combos to me are tight. I was shocked when I saw they were going to be $135 a piece. No way in Hell is that happening. Now if they were $60-80 I just might pop for them. These are 1:32 scale, and it says nothing about them being limited in numbers of like 500. So unless they come with 2 tickets to universal studios California I am going to have to pass....

I got the first few of these but bailed a while back... Banzaitron is threatening to tempt me back on board for one more, though. Very nice look for him.

If that Galvatron had a new head, I might have gotten it.
As it stands, I have the red Prime and silver Megatron. Prime was bought on 1st release, he actually looked pretty cool, and at that time departmental stores here actually imported takara products for regular retail.
Megatron was recently bought at an anime convention, got it only to stand next to Prime, and cos it was pretty cheap at around $30US. Megatron and Prime look nearly identical...

I hate obvious, wanton trolls even more.

Dai Atlas should had been the Questor mold.
Banzai-Tron should have been the Megatron mold.
Thus would leave Galvatron with the Convoy mold, but at leas he'd have a different body from Megs.
Of course, all three would still require new heads.
Posted by gothsaurus on September 20th, 2012 @ 9:07am CDT
But yeah, new heads. If you're charging $50-$130 for a repaint, needs a new head and some serious forethought. Like Classics Sideswipe/Sunstreaker forethought.

My reasoning being this:gothsaurus wrote:Megatron's head on Prime's body... Yeah, yeah. I think I SAW that episode!

A key feature of Dai Atlas' design were his large wings, and the Questor mold has the biggest set of wings and is the most jet-like, thus fititng for Dai Atlas.
Banzaitron has lately been associated with the look of a samurai, which the Megatron mold greatly resmebles.
The Convoy mold being used for Galvatron is simply the victim of process of elimination, but would serve as the ultimate insult to Optimus.
Plus, the Bumble/Cliff/Goldbug mold would look silly for Galvatron.
