Take an in-depth tour of the Autobots' infamous spaceship and save this blueprint for your next video conference call background or desktop wallpaper. Simply click "Download Here" to open its full size version, right click, and save!
Now, obviously there's no hints in this blueprint that there's any transformable elements, but considering the rumours surrounding next years Titan Class figure (or in this case, a playset), what you see here, could be just a taste of what is coming your way next year.
Would you buy a Titan Class Ark playset? Would you be happy if it all transformed or just elements of it like Teletran 1? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

I'd prefer it didn't transform.

If we are getting the so-called Core class figures and they are of the Ark's passengers, then I completely agree. If not, then I personally do not want an Ark at all. Not a fan of the Last Autobot and that's the only bot whose name has been mentioned. I get his appeal for Marvel G1 fans who read that one issue. But I am not. And I doubt I am the only person who isn't.
Not going to complain if it is, though, as I'm sure something else Transfomers related will be available for me to spend that money on lol.

If I had a requirement, it would open to be a diorama of the main control room, which kind of seems like what it's going to be judging by the photos. So, basically, if true they nailed it.

It's going to be one big mass of orangeyness either way. Core class still wouldn't scale with it considering how many bots were inside it, so it may as well transform but I think I'd be leaving it in ship mode if I had the space for it.

Now that would be interesting, as then it could be used by all figure classes.

Would ER Optimus Prime be $70 if he came with Roller and a jet pack? Nope, so what makes Rodimus so expensive? Rodimus doesn't even need a complex transformation to be cartoon accurate, he can literally be "G1 with elbows" as they say.
The Commander Class Rodimus I want is the "New Rodimus" fire truck.
He could be a pre-tool of RID Prime/Super Fire Convoy as a 2022 Commander Class.

Duke Fire from Brave Police J=Decker would like to make your acquaintance.
Both Takara's Transformers and Brave designers say the two are unrelated and any similarities are coincidental.

I've heard that a lot over the years, don't believe it. I've always felt Takara wanted to cover just how much they reused between lines over the years.

And I fully support it being The Last Autobot. I realize a portion of the fanbase won't get the reference, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be used.

WFC Titan class TFs are very hard to find. Even online finding Scorponok has been impossible without having to use second market sellers who double or triple the price. And unless Hasbro has a money back guarantee on the release date for the Ark even pre-ordering is next-to-impossible for people like me on a fixed income where $160 can buy a lot of food.

I'm aware of that. I know the toyline supports the current media, and vice versa, so the Ark has to look the way it does. I was just saying I prefer how the Ark looked in the G1 comics. It was blockier and more angular, not to mention metallic light blue instead of a Dorito. And I was hoping a Titan figure might be an exception. But whatever. At least we're getting an actual Ark. Hopefully it won't be just a hollow shell we can throw some legends class figures into.sol magnus wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:I'm split on this. There's also been mention of Vector Prime which actually makes a little more sense. He was a time traveler and Kingdom is about time travel, plus his design is apparently based on the Last Autobot so there's a few layers going on there. Imagine if Vector Prime comes to the Autobots for help with an issue in the Beast Era and to get them there he merges with the Ark to make it into a time machine. And it's such a forced merging that the robot mode isn't quite complete making him look like the Last Autobot.

BUT, The Last Autobot, already had an altmode. He should have been a figure years ago. Animated OM was ready and waiting to be an Ark based figure. Standardise his design and there is no reason why he shouldn't have been? TLA doesn't have fans, only existing for a few panels. Only those with exposure to the Marvel Run even know he exists. So his selection is puzzling. If it were based on the G1 design. This would have to be Heavily altered to accommodate the design of the Ark.
Although there is already repaint potential. Cartoon or comic...

Why would this matter? it's not like Hasbro couldn't just "change" his alt mode it for the sake of the toy like they do for others in the lines.
They were both spaceships anyways it isn't that different.
Plus it might only just be a Last Autobot/Vector Prime homage in bot mode and not necessarily the same character.

I feel like you're arguing against yourself by saying Animated Omega's out of the question because he'd be too big of a style change, while also saying that The Last Autobot isn't out of the question cause they just need to do a big alt mode change

What does alt mode change have to do with aesthetics?
Last Autobot and the Ark have the same G1 style where combining them would make sense.
Animated Omega doesn't stylistically fit in with current Generations. (not to mention that design doesn't really look transformable without shell forming/large chunks of kibble anyways)

So it's OK for Animated to turn Omega Supreme, who already had an established alt mode in other media, into the Ark, but it's not OK for the Last Autobot to turn into the Ark because he already has an established alt mode in other media? What?
Also, the Last Autobot DOES have fans. I've been begging for a figure of him since 1991!

If there's accompanying media to go with it to justify it, sure. But changing TLA's alt mode and claiming that it's the same TLA as at the end of the Marvel G1 story is not acceptable, at least not for me. I know that hasn't happened, but it shouldn't.Emerje wrote:AllNewSuperRobot wrote:BUT, The Last Autobot, already had an altmode. He should have been a figure years ago. I don't care who or what it turns into; all I know is that since the 80s the GoBots have had the Command Centre and Thruster and Transformers have nothing.
This horrific injustice cannot be allowed to stand any longer.

That's just an assumption, or at best an educated guess. The story of the series isn't exactly top notch, and I don't expect it to get any better. So we'll see. And yes, I've been trying to forget about the show ever since I saw it. I thought about watching it again for the chance that it might grow on me, but that's not likely.Emerje wrote:Did you forget about the Netflix series already? But the fact that this thing was made proves that it's doable.
But of course, it would need to be a new line more appropriate than Kingdom.
I saw this custom in the past and when looking for a picture of Animated Omega when making my last post, was going to feature it in the post to further explain why I doubt an Animated Omega would be made for Generations but decided not to.
It's an excellent custom don't get me wrong, but you posting it is exactly proving my point that it wouldn't visually fit, Animated's artstyle is way too drastically different for a G1 based line, you would have to change up the design to make it fit in with the toys as opposed.
An Animated Omega would be great in another line, just not Kingdom is my opinion.

Bonemode looks great, seems like they could be used with smaller toys like lego or playmobil as museum/possessed nightmares so more than a win. Will be intersting to see how the armoring up works and if the beastwars bots get any interaction with them.

A few days before the leak happened, I mentioned somewhere that I would love to see the return of toy only figures. Beast Wars had a ton of them and it was a large chunk of the toy line. The only thing is though, I mostly meant updates to guys like Wolfang, Polarclaw, Transquito, Bonecrusher, Manterror, Jetstorm and the rest. Wolfang in particular since he was supposed to be on the show but was switched out for Tigatron since he'd share his character model with Cheetor. Was there a Predacon equivalent that was swapped with Blackarachnia? I haven't read every wiki entry.
However to my surprise, they did do new toy only (presumably) characters. While not entirely what I meant, it's not entirely not what I meant at the same time. So I'm on board with this all the way. I complain about seeing the same characters over and over and over and over and over and over and over again from Hasbro and third party companies. I'm not going to go back on what I said now that I know they're only 50% of what I technically was asking for. New characters are awesome.
It would be best if everyone picked these up to show Hasbro that we want more than just rehashed characters over and over at retail. However I can definitely understand why people might not like or purchase the Fossilizers. That's fine too, I'll pick up some extra in your stead. I'l keep trying to combine them into different monstrosities like I do with the Weaponizers and Modulators. Who while not rehashed characters, were established ones for the most part whereas the Fossilizers are completely new for the moment.

I know someone who was in Vietnam last year, and they seemed tempted to stay. Cost of living seemed to be proportionate with income, and quality of life good. He'd be earn less in USD, yeah, but whether that would be a bad thing depends on his current job and COL.
