We have further proof that a goof probably happened. The Buzzworthy Bumblebee toys have all been Target Exclusive so far and the Worlds Collide set, which includes Fangry, Nemesis Primal, Bumblebee and Blackarachnia in toy colours, was in Target's system at $85. But we have images of this set being found at Walmart instead. It is not in their system though and does not ring up. Some very lucky people have still been able to take them home.
Seibertron himself got a copy and is at work on some galleries. For now, we have some previews below along with more images of the box and its contents.
It is assumed that this is a one off fluke and most likely is a limited situation to the particular Walmart where they were found. This set should be available as a Target exclusive later this summer.

I'm gonna need stripes for Bumblejumper here. If that is supposed to be an homage to his Movie styled Camaros and retro muscle modes, then it NEEDS the signature black stripes.
Nemesis Primal is just random. I like it, but he is another black fur Primal and a totally random deco. Would have much preferred the brown and red Universe figure, speaking of worlds colliding. Plus then poor Bumblebee would not be so alone.
Blackarachnia in toy colors is not something I knew I wanted. Its different enough Ivcan totally use this as some9ne else though and unlike Nem Primal its a thing that comes from something. I'm still hoping we get a Crystal Widow redeco from Blackarachnia though. Love those red and blues

JTPrime also made a post not too long ago that the Buzzworthy Studio Series "Vs 2-pack" listing is actually a case assortment, meaning we might be getting more than one set. That rerelease of AOE High Octane Bee that leaked alongside Jolt could be part of one of those sets.
A Bumblebee vs Barricade 2-pack seems like a pretty good bet, but I'm wondering what else we could see. Rampage, Soundwave, maybe even Brawl or TLK Optimus/Nemesis? I'm guessing Stinger would be packed in with HO Bee, though Drift could also work.

EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:Bee is kinda neat, if it was sold by itself I think I'd get one and paint the stripes on it.
Since this is the proper thread for this, a lot of people, myself included will be wanting to split this set up, I have no desire to own another copy of the cliffjumper mold, nor do I really want the fangry

Also interesting that this set is what gets the Alternate heads for both Primal and Blackarachnia.
Seems the only reason for bee to be in this set is to make it a Buzzworthy set. There’s no other reason for him to be there.

There are 2 other reasons.
Firstly, this becomes the closest Bee figure we are getting to his look in the Netflix series, where he doesn't turn into a Beetle and has the same body as Cliffjumper (or vice versa, doesnt matter, point is they have the same body).
Also, thanks to that release of him, we now have the Bazooka Ironhide used

Those are reasons for the figure to exist. Not reasons for it to be part of this particular set.
He’s totally unrelated to 2 evil predacons and a decepticon headmaster.
He would accomplish the same thing in a set wiith other bees or even a Bumblejumper set with other recolors of the same mold. Here it seems he’s just tacked on to make it Buzzworthy.
Not that I mind, The mold is nice, and the accessories too and I don’t own a Bee from Siege, Earthrise or Netflix. But still, its like making a set with Earthrise Prime, Beastwars Megatron, Beast Machines Tankor and a random headmaster. Just odd.

Don't forget the two other monster autobots after Doublecross/Twinferno.
Speaking of which, I have those 3 so I don't need this Fangry (Nor anything from the set for that matter.)

He's supposed to be unrelated to the others,, that's why the set is literally called Worlds Collide.

I wonder if Fangry could be a "preview" of the 2022 line? Leakers claim Hothead and Nightbeat are part of the line next year with Siren in Selects so it could be Squeezeplay and Horri-Bull are in the next line and this is how we're getting Fangry. I'm fine with all of this if it pans out (especially if we never hear the names Crashbash, Loudmouth and Terri-Bull again). I feel like Squeezeplay could be a Repugnus retool (not saying it would be ideal), but what about Horri-Bull?

The brown legs aren't an exact match for the mustard "gold" color of the regular Blackarachnia, but they look more show accurate than the black legs do. And the black legs look good on the new Blackarachnia. Here's a parts swap pic for all of you.

This is exactly why I'm excited for this set. This honestly makes the Kingdom Blackarachnia figure almost perfect to me! The rest of the set isn't too bad. I like having a Nemesis Primal at last. He looks pretty cool with the purple skin and teal robot mode highlights. I'm happy to be getting a proper Fangry at last too. I can only hope Squeezeplay and Horri-Bull are in the cards as well. The Bumblebee is just along for the ride. Maybe I can find a use for him later. I had no idea why his bazooka was green this time, until William James' post above. That's a deep cut, Hasbro!

Seibertron wrote:I would've rather had Fangry come with his guns and Bumblebee come with a black version of his gun from the Centurion Drone set.
That would have been nice, but the bazooka parts must be gang-molded in with the Earthrise Cliffjumper mold. At least the price of the set seems to be below the cost of three Deluxes and one Voyager, so I can see why Fangry didn't get his guns if it was a cost-cutting measure, especially to reuse an "older" Deluxe mold that might not fit the current Deluxe Class budget.

Looking closer at your swapped-legs pic, you're right. The actual figure is black where the box pic is blue, after all.Seibertron wrote:Its based off the original toy, not the Happy Meal. She looks pretty spot on to the original toy when side by side. Fairly certain she's black with a purple wash from the purple paint used elsewhere on figure. That box puc is deceiving about her colors.
So, nevermind my previous post.

Exactly!. It could have been anybody, Huffer, a couple of Micromasters, a Prime Master in Pretender shell, anybody in that size would have made the set work and still be Worlds Collide and be unrelated to the others. But it's Bumblebee. The only reason its Bumblebee is to make it a Buzzworthy set.
Maybe they have certain amount of Buzzworthy sets they need to produce.

That was the original intention for BW Tarantulas, before the show aired.
I'm gonna be repurposing her and add another possible Tripredacus Agent to the list, after Telemocha Volfang and Prime Legion Flamewar. Maybe sister to Flamewar?

I know it’s painfully on the nose, but I’d rather a silver, black, and purple redeco of Airrazor with a new head sculpt as a Beast Wars update of Nightbird.

But I really can't believe how those colors on Nemesis Primal can make me go from 0% interest to 100% interest for that mold. Optimus Primal was an easy pass but I MUST HAVE Nemesis Primal.

Alas, you can't have everything: those proper wings mean his beast mode is way more Marvel-accurate (not sure how much closer he is to Wilder's animation model) and looks less like Doctor Strange's dog Dog-tor Strange, but he lacks that awesome shield that could double as body armor. Maybe a third party or Shapeways will take a crack at it. Of course, I still have my original.

I see. Initially I thought this was supposed to be a Kingdom thing. Which is why I thought the sudden appearance of a Headmaster was a bit random.

I think I've finally cracked this. A G1 figure, two Beast Wars figures, and a random Bumblebee. Why these? The set name kept bothering me, too. Where had I heard "Worlds Collide" before?
Then it hit me:
Inspiration for Fangry and Nemesis Primal:
Black Arachnia, complete with leopard print top!
And of course, the annoying yellow guy who ties it all together.

That’s quite a feat considering how distinct each of the modern Monsterbots already felt.
Absolutely this! I even saw a similar post on Twitter yesterday that started because someone didn't realize the Monsterbots were all mold mates. They found the matching feet odd.

Yah they're lots of fun. I transformed the Monsterbots for the first time with Fangry's gallery. I love that they're so similar yet different. I'd love to see more things like this done with Transformers. I've always been intrigued with regular action figures and how they re-use parts, especially with the Masters of the Universe Classics line where you could buy duplicates of figures, swap parts and make other versions of characters (which was really well thought out ... i.e. Mattel made enough parts so you could make a 200X He-Man and Battle Cat).

MOTU Classics was pretty great with the customizable parts swapping and accessory packs. There are several characters who look a lot better with their 200X redesigns, so having different heads, armor, or weapons to choose from makes my collection that much more personal and satisfying.

I always felt like they really missed the opportunity to double dip with toy heads and cartoon heads. Or unique comic heads like Marvel Octane. I really want that head on an Octane toy at some point.

TR Hot Rod's alternate head was in fact the IDW comics head design. Shame it was never used.
By the way, I am surprised Fangry reuses the TR head figure as Brisko.
