Yea they were temporarily up over Wreckages images, but Hasbro found the mistake (thats a new one) and fixed it. So now the images arnt there so I posted the images as a seperate news item here for those who wernt able to see it yesterday.

Swindle and Dreadwing are just hideous. Sometimes I wonder what kind of crack certain Hasbro designers are smoking to think certain designs should actually be turned into products. %)

If that design is a guy in the game, I'm gonna enjoy cramming his head through a building, regardless of which faction I'm playing as. Shouting things like
"Get yourself a decent robot mode before you try and attack/transform next to me!"
Heck, if I'm Starscream, I'll hunt him down and shoot him out the sky. What's with the heads? They have the same thing as some of the minicons in the Armada game. Only it looked alright on them.

Don't like it. its really a lousy transformer. Compared to the Autobots, heck even compared to Starscream.
Sad when something so promising turns into something like this.
EDIT:
Does anybody else think the purple tab coming off his crotch is just wrong??

the fact the toy is crap does not help either.

Err, look at it this way:
Of all the bad guys we've seen, about 3-4 (depending on Wreckage - is he supposed to be an LAV?) are US Military vehicles or modified US military vehicles. Only one is a Russian military vehicle.

I think that's the beauty of this hobby. Everyone has different tastes so therefore there is a special Transformer for everyone. Kind of like how I've always liked the Wheelie toy. Go figure.
It's like a boss used to say to me about 10 years ago back in the day when I used to sell cars ... "Ryan, there's an ass for every seat."

I thought that was an erroneous link.
oakleyswitch wrote:are they running out of head molds? whats with the camera lens for his face?
I think they might have. They sure as hell aren't being very creative, now are they?

This is kind of true. I'd rather they make a new mold than reissue G1 Wheelie, though. And in case you missed it, I'm pissed that these seekers are Botcon-exclusive because I realy, realy, realy, realy, REALY like Thrust (really ) and I can't afford to crap out two or three hundred dollars just for that one figure.
Also, I don't hate Dreadwing - kinda like it, actually - it's just that head's just getting redundant. You know, like BM deluxe Jetstorm (my other favorite figure besides G1 Kup) getting repainted, only not quite as good.

This is true, also.

Now thats funny, and tes I totally agree when people don't like something but they sometimes go really way too far, example, dreadwing looks like something that bayscream shit. really, very not nessessary and how do they know what starscreams ahit looks like seriously, come on guys really! still theres an ass for every seat, funny.

I hadn't thought of that. The laserbeak head I've mentioned myself, but yeah, I see your point.

What's worse is that generic bad guys in the screenshots for the videgames and the models in the 'name the decepticlone' survey all appear to have either G2-like helmet faces or monolenses AND traditional-looking faces (battle helmets maybe?).

Also, why does he have a winky?
DREADWING isn't terribly intelligent, so no one's certain where he got the teleportation technology that allows him to warp up to two and a half miles instantly. He sure didn't invent it and no one else has it, so he must have stolen it, which makes sense. He is, after all, a born thief. Sneaky and greedy, he pranks and steals from his fellow DECEPTICONS as often as the AUTOBOTS. No one likes him, so he spends most of his time alone, plotting grand schemes and spiking other robots' gas tanks with sugar.
Have you read the above? He isnt very clever yet he plots grand schemes, plays pranks and sneaks about. Was this written by two people or just one very dumb person? Actually, scrub that. It was probably written by the same person who signed it off as ready for production.

Plane mode is decent. Robot mode is a bit tragic. I like the lens-face, but the head looks impractically long and I suspect turning it very far to either side will leave the back/nosecone to bang into the wings. If I see it at US RRP while I'm over for Botcon I'll inevitably pick it up, but if he doesn't appear till I'm back in the UK I may have second thoughts.

I don't know who wrote it but it's one of the most childish and immature bios i've ever read.
Perhaps the writer based it on themselves? That would explain the lack of intelligence.
And he has the ability to warp across a distance. Thank fuck they didn't paint him black and call him Skywarp. Guess we should be thankful for that.

Yes, I do. While there's quite a lot of 'crotch kibble' in the world of TF's, most of it can be ignored. This, not so much. There aren't alot of other functions a free-swinging purple slab can have in robot mode.
Like I've said before, why they just didn't name it Erector is beyond me.
