The Facebook page Transformers Overdrive has some new images of the upcoming Earthrise figures. These are rather important since they are the first images we have of the finished figures. The ones we saw before were sometimes painted samples and 3D renderings. Since we know the deluxes boxes are all the same size, we can see the size difference between Cliffjumper and the rest. He does seem to be around the size of Studio Series Jazz. Other elements to notice is the decision to give Wheeljack's window chest a square look rather than a rounded/tapered one. Also, it seems the battle damage isn't over yet since Hoist sports that on this chest. We see all the wave 1 deluxe toys in packaging and out of the packaging as well as the back of their boxes.

Let us know what you think and if you preordered them yet (they are available for ordering at practically every collectible online store right now). These are priced the same as the Siege deluxes.

Cliffjumper still looks weird without a bot-mode Autobot logo. I don't know why they didn't just make the trade-off of an upside-down logo in his alt-mode.

Still only interested in Wheeljack and Ironworks, I think Ironworks' red mouthplate looks better here than it did at NYCC. I also find it interesting that Hoist looks to have a completely different colored mouthplate and limbs now, wonder what happened there.

After seeing his size, I don't think that Cliffjumper deserves a normal deluxe price. If he goes down to $10-$15 I will pick him up, but probably not for any more than that.

In Demand Toys has the same images, plus Soundbarrier, the Hot Rod Patrol Trip-Up and Daddy-O aka Big Daddy, and finally shots of the Military Patrol Bombshock and Growl. The latter Patrol is quite interesting as they show how far the part sharing has come, as they use Topshot and Flak parts:

- Growl uses Flak's chest and 5mm peg, and Topshot's upper legs
- Bombshock uses Flak's legs, and Topshot's cannon

In other words, most of their grey parts are recycled. The magic of gang-molding

We should be able to figure out now exactly how tall the Cliffjumper figure is! With this in-box picture, we just need to figure out the ratio using the known size of a Deluxe Class Earthrise box, which should be the same as a Siege Deluxe Class box. I'll be happy if he's no more than 2 or 3 mm taller than Titans Return Bumblebee.

I was thinking Hoists side windows might look better dark/black compared to the original blue..it does :) but really hoping that two tone green monstrosity is just bad photography/reflection though it's not looking that way from the boxed image :( he might end up being a permanent pass and the G1 Hoist will come out of storage.

Iron works left hand looks pretty bad in the images but he's a buy any way,

Wheeljacks detailing looks messed up and the windscreen being so bitty rather than a full single piece ruins the look so will be hopefully picking up a cheap classics version even if he is a bit of a block in robot mode.

Cliffjumper will all be about the size, if it is big enough to stand next to MP Bee then maybe but any smaller whilst still towering over the previous legends class figures then nope.

was kind of hoping for Hoist to have a hand flip like impactor to replicate the old toy but it looks like his arms are just hollow for the sake of being cheap as the hands do not fold inside them from the looks of his untidy under carriage.

Probably less laziness and more to get a larger size with a similar amount of plastic, similar to Ironhide and Impactor.

Am I the only one who find these figures either too stumpy/fat in some areas and too spindly in others? Seems like they went too far trying to replicate the ugly animation models on a non-MP budget/scale. :-?

Eh, the only one that really seems that way to me is Hoist, who actually pulls it off interestingly imo. Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, and Ironworks all look pretty typical proportionally.

Hoist does look weird but he is an engineer, not a fighter iirc so it does sort of work to imagine him as aging and 'flabby' (as much as a robot can be). Kind of an Animated Ratchet thing, really.

Or better yet, just modified the toy so that the windshield/car roof/chest could rotate so that it wasn't upside down on Cliffjumper's robot mode in the first place. I really like Cliffjumper but have been irked by the chest being upside down with the windshield on top ever since I first saw him at NYCC.

Ironworks and Cliffjumper look pretty good, i am excited for those 2.

What is with Hoist and the off-colors for his body panels? That's a weird development. I still plan to get him, but that's weird.

Wheeljack, what has happened? He doesn't look very good there, despite the bad mistransformation. It also annoys me that the bottom of the windshield is square on the chest.

I'm hoping the color contrast between the green plastic and the green paint on Hoist is just being exaggerated by whatever camera was used. The contrast is probably not as bad in person. Wheeljack's windshield was always squared off in robot mode, btw. The initial renders and the NYCC samples bare this out. What does look different, though, is the color of the white plastic. It looks closer to the "creamy" white used on Siege Sideswipe than the brighter white used on Siege Red Alert or G2 Sideswipe. That's a shame.

Thanks to the Edduardo Vinz Colin AKA @cybercookiereports on Instagram, we have a huge list of potential Earthrise figures that have now hit the rumor mill.

Now before we get to the list, we remind you that these are merely RUMORS and we have no hard confirmation for any of these figures yet, though a few were on this list from a few days ago. But it is exciting to speculate, and many of these figures do make sense given molds and clues we have been given up to this point. It is also interesting to note that some of these figures finish off the original Siege fanvote options, giving all 6 characters from that vote a toy.

Without further ado, the rumored figures include:

Deluxe Class:

  1. Shrapnel
  2. Bumblebee
  3. Runamuck
  4. Trailbreaker
  5. Sunstreaker
  6. Tracks
  7. Needlenose

Voyager Class

  1. Blaster
  2. Quintesson
  3. Skywarp

Others:

  1. Commander Class Sky Lynx
  2. Unknown Class Megatron
  3. Unknown Class Quintessa
  4. Titan Class Scorponok
  5. Exclusive Conehead 3-Pack
  6. Exclusive Deluxe Class Runabout

So what do you make of this list? Anything on here you really want to see, or anything you really didn't want to? Let us know what you think in the comments section below! and feel free to speculate away and tell us what you want and hope to see!

I'm totally on board for an Earthrise Bumblebee, but I've seen Studio Series lists with this exact same format (I'm assuming made by the same guy) and they've been false except for the few things we already knew about sprinkled in.

Like I said though, I would get a Bumblebee from this line and I'd be interested to see the Coneheads. I really only collect Studio Series and movie stuff but I do really like the fighter jet alt-modes, so we'll see!

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and doubt this list. Call me cynical, but the fact that they don't give size classes for two of them, and given one of them is typically the big bad of Transformers so we can sort of assume he's coming anyway, it feels more like a wishlist to me, with several ones that have associated molds already confirmed. Some are definitely shots in the dark, but considering some were in fan polls, Hasbro probably has the designs in storage and are planning to release them at some point, but all in one line? I find it hard to believe

It seems like an incomplete list that is also entirely believable. My dog could tell you that a new Seeker mold will get repainted and that Hoist will probably get redone as Trailbreaker.

...ok that's a stretch he doesn't know the difference between a Transformer and a raw potato but the point remains.

This is weak, and honestly it's starting to get embarrassing. There is nothing to support it being a leak beyond the word "leak" in the post. Does this site have literally any standards for posting rumors as news? Does the leak need to be supported by any independent sources? Does the leaker need to have previous confirmed leaks?

If Hoist's greens area actually that different in hand I might pass on him. I can deal with it on some figures but those shades are so different it's unacceptable.

Coneheads, mega yes please.

Shrapnel.... eh, I’m perfectly fine with how the Legends Insecticons turned out and how they scale with current stuff, Shrapnel’s gunna have to blow me away and the promise of the other two Insecticons before I bite.

Tracks and Needlenose come as no surprise, since they were part of the fan vote whatever.

About time they did Blaster. No doubt a Soundwave retool, but it’s one I wouldn’t mind as long as he looks right and has his buddies to party with!

I was just thinking today about how Bumblebee could be a slight retool or Cliffjumper, what a coincidence!

Nice to see they’ll continue doing Seekers, but man I hope they don’t make Thundercracker as part of an exclusive box set...

Trailbreaker also comes as no surprise (uhh, hello, Hoist?), but Sunstreaker does. I had just bought Sideswipe in the hopes there’s be a Sunstreaker and it looks like my gamble may’ve payed off!

We all knew Bumblebee was happening ever since we saw Cliffjumper, at least TC and Skywarp are happening from Screamer, Trailbreaker is coming from Hoist, Runamucks already coming and we have to get Runabout from him and Scorponoks already been confirmed.

But these have to happen

. Sunstreaker from Wheeljack. Finally giving us the Lambros we need
. Deluxe Insecticons not just Shrapnel maybe Shattered Glass repaints down the line
. Tracks with either a Road Rage, Loudpedal or a Shattered Glass repaint from Selects
. Blaster and an Exclusive Twincast somehow
. Needlenose with Targetmasters that aren't just Firedrive and Blowpipe again like Spinister's are gonna be

And I can totally see them doing the Coneheads in an exclusive three set like the Rainmakers are.

Old TF fan … long time lurker. I got back into collecting some of these Siege Transformers and they're great.

I would love to get a Siege-style Thrust. That was a toy I wanted as a kid, but could never afford when he was available.

However, am I alone in hating the "conehead" styling? I've always felt those looked mis-transformed. I doubt I would bother.

...yeah, this list kind of reads as a grab bag of sure bets, figures from other leaks, and fan vote guys thrown in for padding. There are a handful of things here I would LIKE to see, and I could see many of them happening, but not because this is a legit leak, regardless of how Very big it is.

It does make me wonder though, if we are to get Blaster and/or Megatron, what will they turn into? They still can't/won't do a gun Megatron, and we just got a G1 Tank Megatron that was close enough to an Earth mode that I don't know they can justify another one like they did Trailer OP. I also can't see them making Blaster a boombox when the Soundwave he would presumably be opposing turns into a Space brick dropship/lamppost.

Earthrise deluxe Shrapnel = the old Legends class figure packed in a deluxe box. Something Hasbro would totally do, just look at Cliffjumper. With the introduction of Siege leader class Hasbro have really become total scumbags. In a few years they'll put legends size figures in leader boxes for $50 or $60. And the stupid collectors will happily pay it.

It reads that way, but I checked through and found another set of previous leaks from his Twitter and those were on point. Also he has pics of Shatter Jet....have those been seen before? ...and what about Daytrader?

I think Megatron will get the Leader Treatment and possibly a Green Tank (notice how they've avoided that obvious repaint for years). I would totally buy another Megatron especially if it was a little better than Siege.

I'm happy to see BB on the list, hope it's true!

He seems to have some lists that have been good and others not so good. Is it possible that he's just good at guessing? Plus in a list like this, much of them are safe bets. Basically even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I'm curious to how different the insecticons are going to be from before.

There is also one other thing I have to question. These boxes make no mention of collectible map parts. Where they only coming with the bigger figures?

Those pictures on that account are digibashes, and listed as such. That account has also put out similar "leak" lists before, and they've been largely disproven.

Wouldnt make sense for one of the Runas to be exclusive but stranger things have happened but the sad thing is, it is then likely a repaint of some other existing figure rather than a mold dedicated to it.

The monsterbots and seekers And Datsun mold would disagree with you there skip.

The battlechargers will get the same treatment that other fanvotes have recently gotten. They’ll get their own mold.

Alternatively, the Runas could be a retool of Wheeljack.

I really don't see the point in a Skywarp being in every line so far. He was one of the last Tetrajets of the SIEGE line and because of exclusivity nonsense, one of the hardest to come by.

I get that Starscream will likely always be there and repaints, repaints, repaints etc BUT surely just package Earthrise Skywarp and Thundercracker as a two pack, immediately after him. Don't waste slots that could go to New characters, for the same seekers they released barely a year ago.

AcademyofDrX wrote:This is weak, and honestly it's starting to get embarrassing. There is nothing to support it being a leak beyond the word "leak" in the post. Does this site have literally any standards for posting rumors as news? Does the leak need to be supported by any independent sources? Does the leaker need to have previous confirmed leaks?
Please do not assume no due diligence was done.

Also, sometimes rumors are posted to the front page purely for the sake of fun and discussion. In the past this has been done and then later stories were removed after confirmation that something was fake.

D-Max did a good job here of describing this stuff as unconfirmed rumor. Our front page contains news, rumors, site exclusive content like galleries and our podcast, sponsored content, a creative roundup, occasional reviews and editorials and even Heavy Metal War content here and there. These are all different things and should be treated accordingly :)

If they get made they will likely be selects and/or amazon. TC and Skywarp will likely not get a standard release and skywarp is still instock at Amazon. He’s not that hard to get.

Sunstreaker if he gets made will probably come from Wheeljack but be an heavy retool only sharing biceps and thighs but the battlechargers will have their own mold.

Cliffjumper looks like he might be a pre-tool for the Battlechargers looking at his backpack. Hmm.
