Currently Star Wars Celebration IV is taking place. There is some Transformers related news coming out of the event. New Transformers Attacktix figures based on G1 and the upcoming Transformers Movie were shown. Jedi Insider has posted images of the figures here.

you can expect them to be blind packed.. hopefully they go back to 3 per box instead of 2 like they did with the last group............

on a side note, did they ever release the battle pack w/ galvatron??

Like the G1 figures, though I do not own a single attacktix figure.
Isn't there supposed to be an arcee figure for this series? I'm anxious to see if it's a G1 design.

They'd be great little collectables if they didn't have the ridiculously oversized weapons. Ironhide's the only decent one in that regard. Skywarp looks like he's riding a cannon Dr. Strangelove style, and Shockwave looks like his arm is being eaten by The Blob or a dimensional portal or a strange Lovecraftian ether being. Hasbro needs to make up its mind once and for all what color Rumble is, red or blue. I think they swap his colors on purpose just to screw with the people who like to argue about it.

Strange they did a Titanium Jetfire along with a bunch of G1 and movie characters. Probably because they can't do a G1 Jetfire coz of copyright issues...

Those G1 figures, heck even some of the movie ones, are very nice looking! I might have to reconsider getting these!

The Frenzy looks exactly like the mini-figure that was available in Japan over a year ago. His weapons are on upside-down which lead me to believe they come off just like on the mini-statue. Arms too.

The Galvatron case set did not release, however, the figure from it has been repurposed for the second series.

Arcee is also in Series 2 (you can see a pic of her in one of the shots, and also on the attacktix.com site).

Many of the G1 figures are from future series beyond series 2...something to look forward to.

TF series 2 and SW series 5 should be out soon...the starters for both have already started showing up, which means the boosters shouldn't be far behind.

I bought him off ebay a month back and I don't think I have seen any since. I got him quite inexpensively too.

I have a bunch of Attaktix I'm trying to unload, and while I'm not too interested in these new ones I have to say that the G1 figures are very cool looking.

Anyone looking for some Attaktix? I got a ton of 'em that need a home......

I kinda lost interest in Attacktix at some point. Right at the beginning to be truthful. Mainly because there weren't any G1 characters in the mix. But I might be reconsidering now.............

Im really liking the G1 based figures, sad to not see any pics of Prowl, but seeing usually unused charactersa like Grapple get figures is damn good. Laserbeak has possibly the cleverest pose of all Attacktix figures.

I hope the G1 and movie figures are not sold in the same wave, dont like the Movie ones much at all.
