Because I'm tired of the arms popping out of the ball joints every time I sneeze (and I do that a ot, being allergic to "Spring" and all things in it) on my "superior" ROTF mold (I used to agree with you, actually) so I went back to my Animated figure?

The legs pop off the animated model all the time. The hands will never be fixed because they would have to alter the mold, which they did for the recolor with the chain saw attachment.

Probably because Animated's style fits in with the RID style much more then a movie toy.
Plus the Animated toy was just as good.

Oh yes I've seen that with his Aplha Bravo bashing on threads that have nothing to do with Alpha Bravo in the first place.
Doesn't mean I can't reply to him with what I think.

You know, I never have a problem with my Ani's legs popping off unless I actually misfold the leg around (which I do a bit) but in those cases, it's usually the front vehicle cowl catching. I have to reattach the left forearm arm of the ROTF fig if I try to lift the forearm at all. Problem is the ball socket on mine is either too thin too hold tight, stretched too wide for a tight fit, or both. Never had a chance to play with anyone else's, so I don't know if its mine or a design flaw.
And actually, never liked the thin lankyness of the figure, but I think as much of what I'm seeing is the Movieverse style. Still, I'd prefer a thrird whak at Lockdown with more the treatment Lugnut got.

Why, the animated version fits the tav aesthetic better. And the deco on the insecticons is leagues above hasbro's. They gave those molds MP decos with great G1 homage.

Hasbro will say they already gave us Kickback in the FOC line. Then a year later when nobody cares about him anymore, theyll announce him.

I also think he will get a legends release next year or so, but I think people will care. Its not like Shrapnel and Bombshell were released at the same time either, or in matching decos.

If it was up to me, every cartoony Animated, TF Prime, and RID head sculpt with eyebrows, no nose, and a stupid smirk would get a new, more detailed G1 style face. I have no problem with the body aesthetics of those lines being integrated into my CHUG collection, but the cartoony heads gotta go.

The one thing these have above Hasbro's is that the share the exact same palette. That is, until Kickback's made and breaks that too.

By then Bad Cube and that other company will have released their MP Insecticons.
Also, for the Hasbro versions, Shrapnel was released under Thrilling 30 and Bombshell was released under Combiner Wars. And you got two totally different shades of purple which really ruin the G1 team look in my opinion. Or if you go Takara, you get stuck with a grey Bombshell and those ugly RID faction circles. So even if they do a Kickback, having a perfect trio was already screwed from day one.

All these years and I never noticed the grey chest in the cartoon. But since the bug was always purple I think its safe to say both colors are cartoon accurate. It then becomes a matter of preference. I prefer the purple since they are a team. The all grey look makes him look like an outsider. Thats just my opinion.

According to their mini-bios in this scan, "Sharpnel" and Bombshell are each part of a swarm of Insecticons that is led by Lockdown:william-james88 wrote:Here's another picture of Lockdown along with the robot modes of Bombshell and Shrapnel.

Sorry to burst your bubble but it was confirmed a while back that Takara Tomy will be releasing this at a higher price range than a deluxe figure. The cheapest pre-order is already sold out.
The official price since then has gone up a little bit (now 3,780 yen) so Amiami will probably be 30% off that when it comes out. So in between voyager and deluxe prices.

I am passing too. But I do hold out hope for something similar to what we recently found with the older Transformers Go! toys in about a year and a half.
Also I am guessing Space restirctions is why you arent dead set on getting all of this year's combiners right?

First of all not everyone is fortunate enough to buy third party figures hell I'm not even allowed to buy anything from the internet at all despite the fact that I'm 17 and am old enough to make those choices myself.
My Mother wont pay online either even if I give her money from my job to do so she distrusts buying things from the internet unless its furniture from Sears.
Second: Not everyone wants third party figures or Masterpiece figures (including myself)
Third: You can peel the damn stickers off you don't need to complain
Lastly: Do you complain for the sake of complaining cause that's all I see you do?

Don't forget that these still have to fit the aesthetic of the Adventure series. Animated figures work well, Generations figures fit well enough, but no way any movie molds would be convincing.

The price is still 3,500JPY, the 3,780JPY is with Japan's 8% sales tax. Most manufacturers list the total price on their sites because Japanese buyers are going to have to pay it regardless (sort of like how gas, at least in the USA, has tax included). Web shops aren't required to include the sales tax and most don't collect it on purchases made outside of Japan (us).
