Actually on-topic:
I still need to take a pic of Roddy yeeting Galvatron.

I wouldn’t mind it if, like Galvatron, Wheeljack got some deco changes for Legacy, like brighter white plastic and blue tinted windows (and the correct racing number).

Totally agree...
I just posted in the Buzzworthy thread that I'll get Silverstreak now, and a big part of that (along with really like that mold and this new deco) is the fact that I never found Sunstreaker. Or Trailbreaker.

Speaking of which: Wonder what's up with that Voyager Soundwave. Re-release of the previously Walmart Exclusive Earth mode version maybe?

Ooof... so much for private business superiority lol. I wonder if the shipping situation will be better by the time I'm able to buy Terrorsaur.Wolfman Jake wrote:I finally have a delivery estimate from UPS for Terrorsaur. I should have him by Thursday evening. What a hassle that has been! Can we go back to the pre-COVID level of terrible shipping logistics, please?

Most of the figures in the original post are still in the same waves, but the numbers of each figure has changed some cases.
Some examples being
Leaders:
Wave 1, 1x Laser prime, 1x Galvatron PR
Wave 2, 1x Blitzwing, 1x laser prime
Wave 3, 1x Dragon Megatron, 1x Blitzwing.
Voyager:
Wave 2, 1x S Soundwave PR, 2x Jhiaxus
And core Skullgrin moved to wave 4 and is packed with a PR (package refresh) of Kingdom core Megatron.

I like the look of him, but he's a little weird with the posing, especially with the 'ab crunch' mine kind of has going on.

I wonder how likely a Selects Lazorbeak or Hydra is. And if we'll get an homage in Buzzworthy to the wackiness that was a certain AoE Strafe toy (probably be sold as Garboyl if we do).
Have there been many comparison pics between him and the original BW toy?
Speaking of, TIL that the Lazorbeak mold was actually a recreation of the Terrorsaur mold with diff. details

I really did think PotP was good enough for me, and that this Rodimus was too much. Part of why I like him is I did get him for $50 shipped, and I'm not sure I'd feel the same about him if I had paid retail. I really did want that sword of Primus. But there is something about the robot mode in person that is a lot better in hand than in photos. He is really enjoyable. And since I got SS86 Hot Rod, I feel like I can appreciate him more, since I got Hot rod, enjoyed what he was trying to do, and then Rodimus did it all but better.
Yeah, I am glad I got him.

Yes, I caught that 50 buck Amazon sale a ways back for the second. He's so nice I bought him twice.

Amazing the difference not having the faux-parts chest makes. Well, that and his being a fundamentally bigger version of the character giving the parts for the arm pipe transformation room to be bigger and thus not brittle.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:sol magnus wrote:I always felt like all you Rodimus deniers were just cheating yourselves. I got him for Christmas and I love him. I hope somebody makes an opening Matrix for him.

You're all lucky then. Every time I check there he's been sold out. I guess I'll just have to hope he'll be back at some point.

I mean, I preordered him months ago. I didn't just 'get one' on Hasbro Pulse. I'm fairly certain they sold out day of pre-release.

This. These were amazon exclusives, so Pulse got a limited stock of them, so all 4 sold out there really quickly. Amazon is the primary source, but Pulse did have limited stock, and it just finally came in. They might have some during next week's "back in stock" on Friday, they have for the previous 3

His red must really not photograph well, as in hand it looks WAY better than in any pictures or videos I've seen.

IIRC, it's coming in Selects.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Maybe we'll see a toy-colors release in the Buzzworthy line - wouldn't be the first time. It'd require painting for those who want show-Terry, but at least it'd be access to the mold.

Ugh... IMO it would be better for the toy-colors release to be in Buzzworthy and for the Selects release to be Hydra.Sabrblade wrote:IIRC, it's coming in Selects.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Maybe we'll see a toy-colors release in the Buzzworthy line - wouldn't be the first time. Hydra would be pretty dope

Like I said, "IIRC". I could be recalling incorrectly, as I'm going strictly by memory without looking up the news post(s) with the relevant info, and cannot fully remember which line is getting toy-colors Terrorsaur and which is getting Fractyl.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Ugh... Here is what Mark said on his Instagram page when he posted this image:
Beast Wars will always hold a special place in my heart, it was the series that got me back into Transformers. I had left briefly but energon was always still flowing in my veins.
Since toy making and engineering came such a long way from the late 90’s it was the perfect time for a resurgence. The idea of making maximals and predacons as close to the real thing as possible was just sooooo coooool! The Kingdom series literally knocked my socks off!
Here is the first initial concept figure for our lovable Cheetor. I was allowed to paint this without any restraints to help sell in the concept.
I had no idea that later on I’d be designing the Netflix release of this figure! Enjoy!
Trypticon Mock up, for reference

Also, if anyone is interested, the Takara "Generations" mooks sometimes feature similar design ideas using spare parts, like Gundam "gunpla" model kit parts, etc.

If you look closely you can were the light is catching edges, though I think it's more likely that he simply took an engraver to it and then painted in the new panel lines.
Pretty cool concept work, I really do miss the gun, though I would have been disappointed if it was just painted gun metal like that.

Not unless they time traveled to see it.
As mentioned this Cheetor mockup uses the 2018 PotP Moonracer mold as a base, which obviously did not exist at the time Mainframe was making the CGI designs.
This is a concept for the Kingdom Line, not the original BW show.
