Glenn Morshower Will Not Be Returning for Transformers 4

While he was one of the first actors to report his involvement with Transformers 4, it now appears Glen Morshower will not be appearing in the upcoming film. Word reaches us from The Transformers Live Action Move Blog that Morshower was on hand at Texas Frightmare Weekend earlier this month and stated a scheduling conflict would prevent him from appearing in Transformers 4.

Morshower has appeared in the Transformers live action movie franchise twice as two different characters. He appeared in the first Transformers film as Colonel Sharp and as General Morshower in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

He wasn't the same character in both movies? :shock:

Shame, he was one of the cast I actually quite liked.

well he technically died in the first movie as we are told later in that movie that no one survived the attack from the beginning, so that explains why he's a different character come Part 2.

but while its been a while since i've seen it, i swear he's in Part 3 as well. like somewhere in the background during some of the "homebase" stuff. maybe i'm wrong but yeah.

I was scratching my head about who he was supposed to play in those movies...

Is he that amazing that Bay wanted to break believability by having the same face on two people? At the very least, would make for better writing if one character was the bro/cousin of the other... :roll:

Tell me the two roles at least LOOKED differently. One had an evil eye patch and mustache, right? :grin:

He's in DOTM, too. He was the one who established that nothing could get through the ring of Decepticon ships over Chicago.
