How appropriate that it's exclusive to the land that gave us the most enduring TF origin mythos.

Also, it's a limited edition alcoholic beverage which will be sold to persons over the legal age... Though I'm not a parent I think that's preferable to a sugary soft drink tied in with our favorite franchise.

There might be legal wranglings due to the usage of prime's likeness but after asus' transformer prime laptop name was allowed I don't think hasbro would have much ground to stand on.

Yeah, I am not trying to start an argument here btw. On the adult side, it REALLY bothers me because Prime does change into an automobile. Drinking and driving related in any sense of the word is just all around a bad idea to me.

You get the gavel to the head !!!
Nothing is better than the combination of alcohol and Transformers !

And we seriously need to do something about all those angry young people with their hoodies and baggy trousers hanging below their asses swearing rhymes in to microphones. You call THAT music?!
Then there's their 'Tom and Berry' ale! Can you imagine if some unscrupulous, angry individual drank too much and got in to a tussle with someone, whacking them in the face with an iron or dropping an anvil on their foot? The shame it would bring to the loveable Tom & Jerry name.
It's a clever little play on words. It's going to be around for two months, available ONLY in one small country, and not even in every single establishment that serves alcoholic beverages. It'll be gone before anyone knows it exists.

Be less wooden, good sir. You really don't think highly of your fellow man, do you? The slightest hint of ethanol and wheels, and the world will devolve into a drunken destruction derby. Is that how it is? No one who isn't already stupid enough to drink and drive is going to be persuaded to do so by this. At most, they'll probably run outside, shout "I'm Optimus Prime!", do the transforming sound and run up the street going "Vroom, vroom!"

Slow down with the disses to hip hop culture. Im not sure how it has anything to do with beer. Everybody drinks beer. And I live for gangsta rap.

I'd have thought the general tone of my whole comment would've made it clear that I wasn't being serious. My apologies to MR Optimus Prime, but I was taking the mickey as his comments struck me as stereotypical 'old-man' comments, and so I continued with it.
