This is the Movieverse. The Dinobots-That-Aren't-Grimlock will probably be background characters with no personality.
At least they all transform in the movie (Hasbro said they all do at toyfair)
I don't buy that. Hasbro may have been giving out unconfirmed information from the studio, or things changed in production, or outright lied to us, but I don't think any dinobots but Grimlock are going to transform. Their toys look too smooth. They don't have movie-level transformations, they don't have any fake parts, they are quite straightforward, and their heads especially do not conform to the movie aesthetic. I won't believe that the dinobots transform in the film until I see them do so. They may transform in ancillary media, like comics and whatnot, but I doubt they do so in the film, with the probable exception of Grimlock.

Am I the only one here who keeps reflexively thinking "Imagine Dragons" is the name of a kiddie show involving flying puppets for a few seconds before connecting the name to the band, no matter how many times I hear them? I guess it's been over a decade since I stopped giving a crap about any contemporary music, so it all blurs together enough that other associations seep into my consciousness; in this case, TV ads for Dragon Tails live shows.
Oh, and awesome song, yes.

Oh, and awesome song, yes.
Whenever someone mentions Imagine Dragons, it makes me think of I Fight Dragons, and then I'm disappointed, because they aren't I Fight Dragons.

SlyTF1 wrote:Listening to Battle Cry. As much as I like LP... I find this song much better than anything in the first 3 movies.
I'm a big LP fan myself but I have to agree that this song is better suited if they are, in fact, taking this movie franchise in a different direction. LP did a great job but there at the end they were shoe-horning a song off their album at the time into the DotM line-up which, in my opinion, was just a stroke of luck more than anything else that they had a song that fit so perfectly. I think having a new group tailoring a song specifically to the new movie is the way to go if they are really taking the Transformers down a different road than the first 3 movies.

You're not. I used to watch Dragon Tales when I was a toddler, and now I'm stuck with the exact same problem.
The song itself is excellent. It fits the tone of the movie perfectly.

In addition to being on tour into August, Skrillex is currently working on sound design for the next Transformers movie, creating "the craziest Skrillex sounds I could ever make." He also has other film scoring projects in the offing, while he and good pal Diplo have been making some new music together as well.

If "New Divide" is better like you say, then doesn't that mean Linkin Park already did do better than Imagine Dragons' "Battle Cry"?Mindmaster wrote:Finally listened to "Battle Cry"... have to say, Linkin Park could do better. Nothing can top "New Divide".

And I could be wrong, but I am willing to bet the Dinobots never transform.
Why the hell not?

You just described 3/4 of Bayverse.

I will take that bet. What are the terms?

Hasbro said that ALL of the Dinobots will transform in the movie back at toyfair.

Metro Prime wrote:Has anyone else noticed that Bumblebee seems to be making the same beeping sounds Prime 'Bee made, instead of talking through the radio?
No, I didn't, but I'd think it would be much easier to use beeps and whistles, rather than scouring through film and TV clips to throw together his little pieces of dialogue. I sometimes wonder if Bumblebee's script is a big part of the time taken to create this whole experience.
At the very least, I'd imagine it's a pretty unpleasant job.

You can kinda hear it in the trailer, right after Tessa shouts at Bumblebee and he jumps from that weird spaceship-looking thing, and when he's attempting to ride Strafe.
