The latest figures in he Transformers Legacy line are coming out in Asia (Hong Kong), so we now have in hand images of Bludgeon and Trashmaster. We can even see how Trashmaster can be used as a weapon for other figures. Speaking of the Legacy line, fans have been getting their hands on the new figures in the IDW subline that is exclusive to Amazon in the US. So we have in hand images of Nova Prime, Nacelle and the Deadeye Duel 2 pack. Regarding that last one, we also have a video review. All can be seen below, along with the multiple sources.
Sources include HK TF Facebook page, Daftraider, Dann86, and BLSP21.

When a figure that has a long sword in their arsenal why the hell can't they be engineered to stance just like this and not just wielding with only one hand? Proper!!!

Considering how the other repacks in Legacy have gone up, I imagine that Slug will come back in stock/just suddenly appear once the rest of the wave has reached the point of being in-stock.o.supreme wrote:I got my pre orders in for LE wave 4. Dang you're eating good over there, US preorders say October 1st for all of them thus far.Munkky wrote:I have my pre-orders in for what I want from wave 7, thankfully Shadow Striker will be ready to ship from the 4th and Dreadwing from the 10th so I won't have to wait too long for either, but Bombshell won;t be shipping until September which is a bit of a shame. I'm still undecided on Strongarm, but seeing how unpopular that figure seems to be I don't imagine she'll sell out quickly so I have some time to think about it.

Supposedly Snarl will be accompanied by Slug, Sludge and an Optimus Prime repack. Which works for me; Grimlock, Swoop and Scarr were the first to appear in my area, stores having skipped Waves 1 & 2.

I really want Dreadwing, and BBTS gets leaders fast, so at least he is the one I really wanted and planned to do it.
I think the rest were just concerns over availability, given when this wave will likely be released
Posted by Razorbeast88 on August 6th, 2023 @ 3:44pm CDT
I love them both. I pre-ordered Bludgeon because I didn't want a repeat of Tarn (I'm still waiting on Tarn from Amazon and I pre-ordered him on entertainment earth in case that falls through)

I dont want axlegrease or a second crashbar and I still really want to make a combiner
More retools of the existing deluxes would be fine by me

Of course I thought we'd get a Predacon based on Kingdom Wingfinger back in 2021 and that never happened so....

There's a rumor that the Crashbar repaint would be Wreck-Garr.
I'd prefer an original character. Why not another Junky Fembot?

Wingfinger being one of the few WFC figures to not get a repaint, and indeed one of the very few gimmick centered bots to not get a repaint, is still odd.
I too hope for a Crashbar repaint, that is a fun mold, and I do want to form a junkasaurus. I have greatly enjoyed the junkions

Upon opening it it's clearly evident that the Kup mold is live way beyond its usage date, those detachable limbs just are not holding up at all over time. As much as I like the look of Dion the arms falling off just by looking at the figure is very disappointing, I really wished that they had retool the arms to eliminate this feature for future repaints before utilizing it on such niche characters.
That said, it is a very neat looking set!

chuckdawg1999 wrote:Shadow Striker is a great figure but there are lots of little things going on with it that might turn some people off. First, I feel labeling the figure from the Cyberverse Universe is a disservice as the use of this mold is clearly meant to homage the TFCC convention exclusive. That leads to the second point, this mold is meant for Robots In Disguise Sideburn who we know is coming at a later point. With that said I find it hard to recommend this figure since once Sideburn is released most of this version will become redundant.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:What some new parts and paint can do for a mold is fantastic. Elita-1 and Minerva were ok, but Strongarm is the best use of this mold. Outside of an entirely new mold, this is the best modern interpretation of Strongarm we'll get and it's my favorite figure of the wave.

No clue.
But I would really like a Select box set of them, repainted/remolded into Monstructor or something.

I was holding out hope for a deluxe class set for Monstructor, but this kinda takes the wind out of those sails. I'm genuinely not excited about these at all, but the Raiden trainbots are the only bots I've bought in over a year, so I'm dealing with withdrawals here.

I sympathize with some of these sentiments.
But I'm pretty certain a Core Dinoking Box Set from Pulse has to be in the very near future. I would much prefer Deluxes for Dinoking & Monstructor as well to scale with the other modern combiners, but it will be a placeholder if anything for the future. Same with the MPG Raiden Trainbots. Yes they are super expensive, but I figure its the only way we'll ever get them for the foreseeable future. If viable Deluxe standar Generation ones are made however, I'll sell my MPG's in a heartbeat.

I also am appreciating Strongarm more. I will need to decide which shelf she ends up on once I get her

I think the rumor is Target gets Moonstructor and Pulse gets Dinoking. The problem is the two sets are going to be just repainted, which means the molds are only going to be accurate to Dinoking's pretender shells and not the actual robots that combined.

To be fair, those inner robot altmodes for the Dinoforce never actually appeared in anything. They always went directly from robot mode to dinosaur pretender shell and back.chuckdawg1999 wrote:o.supreme wrote:Brokebot wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:Brokebot wrote:I haven't been keeping up -- is there any word about the Dinobots ever being released as a box set?

That would also mean that the individual Pretender Monster bots won't resemble anything, though the combined Monstructor form won't be too far off.

Chiming in for something to consider for the possible box sets: extra accessories. Grimlock and Snarl have "I"-shaped ports on the bottom of their hips, which seemingly serve no purpose. Maybe for an omitted foot?
As for Monstructor, comparing the Core Dinobots with the G1 Monster Pretenders... It is possible, but some members need more retooling than others. Sludge, Swoop and Scarr into Birdbrain, Wildfly and Bristleback are somewhat easy with a simple dino head and arm/legs swaps, but Grimlock, Snarl and Slug into Icepick, Scowl and Slog requires some creativity.

I don't care for the figure all around but I gotta give credit where its due. The engineering for Bludgeon was well crafted for this line and I will tell you why. Any figure that has a long blade or sword should definitely have the ability to wield that weapon as in the pic and that IMO is epic! Simply just holding the damn thing in one hand or the other just simply isn't right.
This clearly can be done, no excuses so here it is give it up!!!

And speaking of wide ranging sublines, do we have any confirmation or leaks that suggest more Diaclone are coming? Reboost joined the squad up top to represent himself while the MP shelf is a bit busy with trainbots, but he still needs a generations release, and so does Riggorus. And of course we still have some others like Topspin and red Mirage.

Good, now we have a full set of Decepticon double Targetmasters that aren't Headmasters or Combiners, shame their partners wont match.
Tra Gen Legacy UNI Voyager Animated Motormaster
Product Number: F8547
Obvious Optimus repaint that eliminates any chance of the G1 versions being retooled into them.
Tra Gen Legacy Star Seekers Deluxe Roadpig
Product Number: G0232
Prowl repaint?
Tra Gen Legacy Star Seekers Deluxe Lockdown
Product Number: G0233
The Axelgreese retool that the design team didn't want to talk about.
Tra Gen Legacy Star Seekers Deluxe Filch
Product Number: G0234
Studio Series Airazor retool most likely.
Tra Gen legacy Star Seekers Voyager Ferak
Product Number: G0235
Cyclonus repaint. As the only Voyager giving them freedom to do whatever they want with the price point they should give him Tornado, but I bet they wont.
Tra Gen Legacy Star Seekers Leader Thundertron
Product Number: G0236
Isn't Thundertron reported to be a new mold? I guess he's a Leo Prime retool now, but as a Leader? Wait and see I guess. Yeah, I know, we had Cosmos and Override, but this guy isn't them. That'll be a big cat unless they decide to scrap the lion mode all together.
I'm guessing the two unnamed Deluxes will be Cannonball (Crankcase repaint?) and Maybe Axer which would be kinda funny since he's shared tools with both Roadpig and Lockdown.
Ferak gets me another spot on the Twincast Podcast Bingo sheet.
