I'm going with the Takara one, because the red chrome on the Hasbro version doesn't look right to me.
I'd rather keep my figures as unaltered as possible, for collectability and potential resellability. That's why it's the Takara version of leader Jetfire for me!

The first with the clocks (yes, clock, 25cm or 10 inches in diameter) seems to be exclusive to the ever-popular (and often rigged) Crane Games, while the ones with the weapons is exclusive to Lost Age. They are:
Ptera Spear: repainted from Prime Knock Out's weapon
Spino Hammer: repainted from BH Deluxe Twinstrike's weapon
Tricera Mace: repainted from BH Deluxe Windrazor's weapon
Prime Axe: repainted from BH Dreadwing's melee weapon.

Good eye on the My First Blaster. And in case someone's wondering who this Phaser is, he's a G1 Micromaster Combiner. His partner is Blast Master, now known as Payload.
Left: Blast Master, Right: Phaser

Actually, it's the Voyager figure. Takara is currently calling their Generations line "Legends"

Yeah, the term "Legends" has been applied to so many different things over the years:wilcosu35 wrote:Ultra Markus wrote:legends brainstorm? how intriguing hopefully we will see other legends size head masters
Actually, it's the Voyager figure. Takara is currently calling their Generations line "Legends"
1989: Legends - a Kmart-exclusive G1 subline containing the Classic Pretenders without their shells
2004: Transformers Legends - an anthology book containing prose stories based on G1, the Beast Era, and Armada
2005-2010: Legends class (originally "Legends of Cybertron") - a size class of 3-inch-tall mass retail figures; later became integrated into the "Cyberverse" subline as "Legion class"
2012-Present: Transformers Legends - a mobile game for Android and Apple platforms
2013-Present: Legends class - A new size class introduced in the Generations Thrilling 30 line that's bigger than the Cyberverse Commander class but smaller than Scout class
2014: Transformers: Legends - The third Japanese line to be a counterpart to Hasbro's Generations line (the first being United and the second being Takara's Generations line), beginning with the mid-2014 Thrilling 30 toys, and themed around Beast Wars in packaging and media (i.e. - the manga).

There's a photo posted somewhere of him in botmode with the head unattached, arms drooping by his sides. For some reason that photo sold me on the mold.
Can't wait for in-hand pics! And then to have mine in-hand!

I'm afraid you are mistaken. These new Fembots are just the Generations Deluxe molds released in the final one of the following categories:Shuttershock wrote:I guess that would scale better with Metroplex.

Oh, silly me. I thought we had reigned in our ADD-like excessive re-branding and were sticking with consistent terminology. My mistake.

It is consistent in a sense, but Hasbro and TakaraTomy do not share terminology most of the time. Besides, Commanders, Legions and anything inbetween have either been branded as EZ-Collection or sold in 2-packs in regular lines. "Legends" never had meaning there.

Yeah I want a Nautica. Chromia turned out to be a most unpleasant character that has seen no repercussions for her deplorable acts. I really don't understand that. Anyway, I have first edition Arcee that will stand in for her anyway. It's the new, unique and interesting Nautica I want. But no.

As for Chromia, RID 33 spoilers: Windblade doesnt trust her anymore. She's living on her own. Windblade only trusts Wheeljack at this point.

Maybe she'll come out in a wave with Riptide also. I've got a fondness for boatformers.

Fembots are at least 100 years old. If it disgust you, why don't you just leave the civilised world and join a far away monastery?

It's too simplistic, a class too big and i really hate those wings.
I also think they could have done a better job with the headmaster gimmick.

Yeah... It actually does sound really absurd and quite creepy, now that I think about it. A spandex-clad 12-year-old wears a suit of robot armor and is psychically linked to his two-story-tall alien robot mom?
