My thoughts exactly. What I dislike the most about Hasbro's is how the only paint on his face was a blotch of red. But its the same thing here. So it goes back to simply which shape you like better, and I preffer Hasbro's. It's a really nice homage and improvement to the G1 toy which was attempting a more rounded head.

True.
Plus, like Skullcruncher, I mostly want him for his beast mode - so it's not too bad for me.

However I'd have liked that all the titan figures had a paint splotch on their faces, seems deluxes and voyagers don't get that treatment from hasbro whereas takara does. Though I keep them displayed in robot mode with heads attached, when playing with them and see the little paintless faces I begin thinking it's time to start waiting for takara.

Actually, it really isn't. Takara's version has a light, almost pinkish-orange face, with a terracotta-ish visor. Check out my pic that I uploaded at TFW2005 (sorry, but until Seibrtron fixes it's picture upload limits, even cropped, tiny mobile phone pics can't be uploaded here) :

Its not that there is a problem that needs fixing, its just a different way fo doing things (just like Hasbro and Takara are doing things differently with their decos in this line, nothing inferior, just different). If you want to post pics, just upload it to an mage hosting site (like photobucket) and copy paste a direct image link. We can then see what you are talking about. You can use that method for both site too and it's not hard to employ

Thanks, but I disagree. On mobile, it IS a hassle, as copying and pasting URLs between typing img codes causes all manner of problems. Thus, I will continue to post images at TFW2005 for the time being, thanks.
All YOU have to do is simply click on the link I have posted, go to TFW2005 and see it there. Easy.
Let's hope Seibertron can update this stance on photo uploads. I understand that there are challenges, such as bandwidth (especially during conventions, etc), but in this day and age, and especially as competing sites already offer generous upload limits, then makig the site easier to post pics should be strongly considered. It's the main reason why i don't submit pics at seibertron and why i usually go to TFW2005 instead (even though I have complained there numerous times about their site, too). For me, with regards to posting pics, the others sites are all more preferable.

I see where you are coming from, but I think it would look fine if it was retooled more into a T-rex to at least make THAT more accurate. Heck, they could just leave the back fins off, and retool the head and dino arms. The overall proportions also remind me a lot of this guy:
It was mostly kibble that gave him extra bulk in both old and newer versions.

Use Imgur. They have a mobile app that's easy to upload to, and they offer pre-formatted embed codes in various flavors (tags included) that you can copy and paste. Or you can upload from your phone to Imgur and write the post on a computer. Lots of options.

I can't believe no one has mentioned this problem before. Urgh. I think the issue has been resolved. Can you try again? Thanks.

Thanks Ryan! This makes uploading much easier! Sorry I didn't think to mention anything before.

Seibertron wrote:I'm not sure why you are receiving that error message. Just double checked the settings, it's set to 10mb per attachment which is fairly reasonable. I just compared that setting to the size of some of my recent photos from my camera and most of the images are around 3mb each at 4912x3264, which I don't have any problem uploading (attaching a test just to verify). I'll send you a private message so that I can figure out a solution to why you are receiving that error message.
There are some images with the same issues that I have encountered too. That's why I occasionally use postimage or imgur.

Fo Sho! But I am dissapointed by their Soundwave. There are still some parts wehre I would have liked to see more paint but is instead kept bare. As with the Hasbro version there are large surfaces of just the blue plastic colour with nothing breaking it up.

Anyway, TR Blaster looks amazing. Scale issues or not...I'm tempted. Soundwave looks good too but if I wanted a Leader sized Soundwave I'd just get the MP.
Moonheart (or Pulsewave as I'll call her if I get her) is adorable though.

Really? What for the two of you makes the Hasbro version superior? The paint apps are almost identical. The Hasbro version painted the chest "pipes" white, while the Takara version left them yellow, which creates a more dynamic look for the chest, playing more on the 3-D nature of the medium. The paint job on the tails is slightly different, but neither looks "superior" to the other. The Hasbro version has silver paint on the shins, but the Takara version has better paint apps on the beats mode claws (the Hasbro version using a weird "dry brush" technique). The Hasbro version has more color (blue and white) on the beat mode flanks, but the Takara version keeps it a more cohesive yellow. Finally, the Takara version has better color matching on the yellow plastics. You can see in the Hasbro version that the yellow plastics for the pelvis and around the hinges for the wolf head is noticeably lighter shade.

And thats amazing news since usually you just check which one looks better and you go "well thats the takara one surely", but here they both looks too similar. With difference in paint apps as opposed to a more paint on one. So this is really great and what I always wished from takara and hasbro, for there to be differences rather than one be superior. Like that everyone wins no matter where we are in the world.
EDIT: looking at the robot modes, I think hasbro's has more paint apps due to the coloured shins and silver circles near the beast feet, I would actually go for the hasbro one if both were at the store for the same price.
