Almost a month ago, the full line-up for the Takara Tomy counterpart to Hasbro's Transformers: Age of Extinction line was revealed, under the name Transformers: Lost Age - Movie Advanced. Thanks to site sponsor RobotKingdom.com, we now have in-package images for the line from AD-01 to AD-15, including metallic decos of the movie first waves, and some old gems from previous movie lines - such as G1 deco Protoform Optimus Prime, the Legends combiner Devastator and Mountain Dew carrier Dispensor! Check them all out below.

- For AoE toys, it's simply adapted Hasbro packaging, including the "Changes in so many steps!", Size Class, Series and Figure ID's.
- For older toys (AD08 to AD15), it has the name of the Movie the characters appeared in and a Japanese bio.
Jolt, Revenge Optimus Prime, and Dispensor I'll definitely get. I'll be sticking with the US releases for the rest, I don't care for the "the TakaraTomy one has better deco", leave that until comparisons appear on Japanese blog sites. >:oP

On the leader mold at least you can tuck the elf toes under. No cure for the terrible T-rex chest though.

Yeah I know, leader looks slightly better bot mode too but the Rex mode is fugly in its own way. So I'm not holding my breath for the black-knight leader Grimlock, which just looks like a chunk of obsidian plastic. Hopefully they are re-engineering him to look better for future versions... hopefully
We agree a lot taste-wise Diem, wish there is a like button so I can thumb up your posts.

DON'T. The repaint may be awesome and fan-inspired, but the mold is one of the worst ever.

I'd snatch up The Protoform Prime, Dispensor, Starscream and Devastator to go along with the High Octane 'Bee and I might even add the E-mode Prime to that list if their version looks more appealing in hand than the U.S. version does. BUT... Hasbro isn't going to do anything this cool since they already have a metric sh**-ton of their own poorly thought out movie figures to peddle on us. So I guess I'm stuck with paying an ungodly amount for mark-up and shipping if I want these figures or do without and since I'm a cheap bastard, it looks like I'll be going without.

Just get a paintbrush and dot them in yourself. It would literally take, what, 5 seconds?

I wasn't saying it would be a difficult thing to do were someone so inclined. I was commenting on those folks who believed these versions would have these details painted.
(but for the record, it'd probably take more than literally 5 seconds, especially if you have to go buy paints and paint brushes and open the paints)

Fires_Of_Inferno wrote:Christ, just give us a proper Dino figure already!
Hate to say it, but that's the best that we're gonna get with Dino/Mirage, for several reasons:
1) We already have a Cyberverse Mirage based on Legends Sideways
2) An all new Dino mold is out of the question, since he's not in the cast
3) And perhaps most importantly, Mattel has an exclusive license for making toys based on Ferraris, which Dino/Mirage is. So grab your torches and pitchforks, you know where to go.

I don't know where you guys are from but I'm from Louisiana, where this version and the HA figure never hit the stores

Hence it being a "second chance" since it missed out on its first chance.Database29 wrote:RhA wrote:I like that Soundwave. Kinda cool he gets a second chance in the stores.

He got released before in non-U.S. countries. Japan and East Asia, at least, did see DOTM Soundwave and Wheeljack in their stores.Database29 wrote:Hence, how in the world can you have a 2nd chance, when you never got the 1st chance? So this toy is the second release of the mold.

He got chances of being released in stores, and only once or twice did it come true. Here's the list, with the ones in italics canceled:
1a) Deluxe Soundwave (US release)
1b) DD-13 Soundwave (TakaraTomy)
2) Deluxe Soundwave (Hasbro Asia release)
3) Movie Trilogy Soundwave
4) AD17 Darkside Soundwave

Plus, the "second chance" that RhA was referring to was for that toy, not for those who want that toy. The toy is the one being given the second chance at being released since it missed out on its first chance release in the "Movie Trilogy Series".
Us fans are being given a fourth chance at this mold since the first chance never came to the U.S., the second chance was Japanese-only, and the third chance got canceled altogether.

I am just getting tired of paying twice and 3 times the value of the toy from online retailers.the mark ups are outrageous!I could be happy that it's being released, but I'm not because I think it's wrong. If you are not going to send it here, at least sell it online for the price it would be here. I would not mind paying the shipping
This is only in your dream.
Why? There's many points.
1) There's not as much copies of it made as if it were for a North American release.
2) The USA is the place were Transformers sell the cheapest for some unexplained reason. Everywere else in the world, the normal price is from a few dollars more, to double or triple the price it would sell in the USA.
3) For brand new items that just came out, the competition between online retailers is pretty fierce. So, the average price for a item that just came out is as low as it can be, despite the fact that it's so high compared to the common TrU toy of your region.
4) Having to pay for shipping and imort taxes suck for sure. Unfortunately, delivery companies dont work for free and your government want it's cut as well. It suck, but it's how life goes.
There you go. Just a reality check for toys that are not meant or will never be meant for a local release.
The only time you would heva a right to complain is if a toy have been released widely in half your country, but the other half suffured piss-poor distribution and/or is not released in your specific region just because of some stoopid local laws.
