The respective vehicles are:
- Jet (Jet plane)
- Flame (Fire engine)
- Cosmo (Super shuttle)
- Stream (Boat)
- Crush (Drill)
- Launcher (Armor vehicle)
Every pair of the vehicles can combined with each other to form a bigger robot.
And of course all six of them can form another larger robot - Gaia Cross.
The set is expected to be released on April 2011.

Wish it was an actual set of figures instead of a Gum kit, because it'll never reach the U.S. Looks cool.

The jet is only a vague callback to Wing, the space shuttle only has Mach's legs, the boat is only a smidge similar to Waver, and none of the Multiforce turned into a fire truck, drill, or tank.
Which brings up the question, where are Dash, Tacker, and Tackle?
And can these six even combine in pairs like the Multiforce could? As, that was their signature gimmick aside from forming Landcross.
Speaking of which, this "Gaia Cross" looks far too different from Landcross. I mean, what's with all the baby blue? And his chestplate just screams "bird wings". Not to mention his head looks far too much like an Optimus head than it does Landcross's head.
This is just... not Landcross.

I'll still grab a set when they come out because I love Kayaba figures.

Anybody have any idea on how expensive it'd be to get this guy?

Landcross is from the Japanese Transformers Victory series. The original figure is a great combiner. Tons of playability. The six figures not only have individual vehicle modes and can combine into Landcross. They can also combine in 2 robot pairs.
Here's a little bit of light reading on the character.

That's actually nothing too spectacular. Landcross's components always did that and the end result wasn't really anything special. In fact, it was the combined pairs that were treated more like the real robot forms instead of the smaller two robots that make up the united duo.cannonfodder4000 wrote:Mach wrote:Every pair of the vehicles can combined with each other to form a bigger robot.

That's not entirely true. while Landcross did get defeated more often than he won, there are at least two factors that need to be taken into account.godzillabot wrote:Thank you LOST cybertronian from what I can tell he’s kind of the waspinator of victory.
One is that Landcross (and all of his components, the Multiforce) was mostly a rookie. The Multiforce were young, youthful Autobots who served under the more higher-ranked, more experienced, and more powerful Brainmasters. So, it's only natural that the more inexperienced fighter wouldn't do so well in the battlefield when compared to his superior officers.
Two is that the opponents he fought were way more powerful and battle-savvy than he was. Dinoking may not have been the brightest combiner of the Cons, but he was still enough to give the likes of Star Saber (the Autobot leader) and Road Caesar (the Autobots' main combiner at the time) a difficult time. And pitting Landcross against Liokaiser is just suicidal, as Liokaiser is one of (if not the) most powerful Decepticon combiners ever, with Star Saber barely managing to defeat him and needing help from God Ginrai (Japanese equivalent of Powermaster Optimus Prime) to do so. If two of the Autobots' most powerful commanders could barely stand up to Liokaiser, Landcross hasn't got a prayer of defeating him.
So, he doesn't always lose because he's a Waspinator-esque weakling, but because he's inexperienced and tends to be put against far more powerful opponents.

The Energon Autobots will put you back on earth faster than you can say "whoa". Thankfully they didn't combine into a giant.
