These things sell out anywhere you find them. I would say Hasbro would be foolish to cancel the kreons. I think they will run out of characters, at least G1, before that happens. Almost all have been made at this point, but there is still plenty to make, at least three or four more waves. From the first two seasons and 86' movie alone we still have...
Sunstreaker
Gears
All five dinobots
Blaster
Grapple
Tracks
Seaspray
Cosmos
Ultra Magnus
Blurr
Wheelie
Shrapnel
All three reflector Bots
Astrotrain
Blitzwing
the third rainmaker, blue seeker
I am sure I am missing a few, not to mention, the third and fourth seasons, and all other lines that they have utilized.
My local Walgreens still had wave three as of last week.

I figured with the new movie coming up, they would possibly cancel this wave and go straight for the movie themed Kre-o's.
Plus there are dozens of toys that aren't cancelled but just hard as hell to find like Generations Grappel and Windcharger. I don't know how much running around looking for those guys that I did before biting the bullet and paying an inflated price online.

Waning retailer interest, plus being in a final wave of any line didn't help any canceled figure. It's called "cutting loses and moving on".
Here in main land Europe not only are still stuck with wave 1, only one store carries them. *sob* I want more Kreons!

Because they didn't make money. Furthermore, You cited lines that were at their end to make way for new product and lost a few figures. This line is not being cancelled, rather the wave 5 one will have a movie theme. Just like generations is apparently doing. When the movie is over both will presumably go back to catch all lines. RTS and DOTM were not like that. They were stand alone lines whose figures died with them. Apples to oranges, my friend.

I found this series at my local comic book store back in January. I haven't seen any of the major retailers carrying them set. The previous series are still well stocked on all the Toys R Us and Targets that I frequent.

Same here in a way. TRU yes. I was there Friday night and they had wave 3 stocked. My local Target clearance wave three back when they did the Christmas clearance. They currently no longer carry Kreons that I know of. Walmart and Meijer here never carried them. I mainly got mine from Walgreens. I should check our other one though. We have two in town here and I only checked the one by where I work.

Do they sell these internationally? I never thought about it myself. The secondary market is a bear too. I missed wave 2 and paid well over $10 for Arcee and Groove.
