MP-04 Convoy and MP-05 Megatron Galleries Now Online!

Great galleries. I love the Kremzeek mold and color.

I've been waiting for your MP Megs gallery for weeks, so this is awesome news! And as usual, great pics! Though I wouldn't mind seeing a few more complimentary angles of MP Prime & Megs standing behind/beside/whatever of their G1 toys.

And thanks for adding the MP-04 gallery! Even though I own MP-01 and MP-04, I've been waiting to see someone do a proper gallery of the trailer.

Man that thing is BADASS! I am a little jealous. You have 5 MP Primes. I have none. Sadness fills my heart this day. MP Megs pics make me happy,so it evens out.

I don't get why they didn't include Roller with MP-4. Prime finally gets a trailer, but no Roller?

I agree. I think it sucks, to be frank. I would have rather had Roller than the battle base personally. Oh well ... it's all still a pretty darn cool package.

I never planned on getting the Hasbro versions until Masterpiece Megatron came out. I was really bummed that MP-4 didn't come with the black cannon so I finally caved in and bought the Hasbro versions. I'll be posting galleries of those later in the week.

This makes me want Megs and Magnus so much, and now, SS not at all. He just doesn't seem up to par with the rest of the MP line.

If you don't own any Masterpieces, I would recommend MP-4 Convoy w/ trailer or MP-1 Convoy depending on your budget. Then I would recommend MP-5 Megatron, then MP-3 Starscream then MP-2 Ultra Magnus. I wouldn't recommend going overboard like I have and getting both MP-1 and MP-4 (not too mention the Hasbro versions as well).

On that note, why does everyone keep calling these MP-01 and MP-05 for example? There isn't a zero in the designation.

The only thing I wish they had done with megatron is add something to thicken out his legs a little. That has always been the one thing I never liked about megatron as toy. Maybe a cover piece that you could put over trigger on the inside of his legs.

Odd indeed. So I guess both is correct though the extra zero makes more sense so that when they get to MP-10 it'll be the same length as MP-03.

Excellent galleries. Megs looks awesome, I do wish the legs were a bit bigger though.

Besides the awful colours I think Starscream is great. Maybe MP-06 will be Starscream in his proper colours or Thundercracker or Skywarp.

I will never get use to Optimus being called convoy.

Damn it i want Megatron but i cant aford him and he's out of stock evrey were. Knew i should've got one for my birthday.

The only one I have passed on is MP-02. I got 1 and 4 so that I can have one in bot and one in alt mode. MP-02 though, besides apparantly being sold out everywhere, I dunno. I dont like it. Besides being just a white Prime. even if gthey would make the armor for him, it still wouldn't work as that would have him be bigger than Prime, which is...not right.

I took some extra pictures of Megatron tonight that mimic a few of the scenes that you posted, UltraPrimal. I will post them on the site when I post the Hasbro versions of Masterpiece Convoy.

I think I'm in the minority, but I actually like MP Ultra Magnus more than MP Convoy. Perhaps it is the contrast of his colors along with the die-cast make him really stand out.

Doesnt matter if he is in Robot mode. He STILL Transforms into a Lifelike gun,and therefor to stay within US toy laws, they need to put the cap on. If Joel were to sell these figures unmoddified, and god forbid, a kid were to get shot by a police officer while holding Megatron. Technically Joel and BBTS could be held liable for selling something that doesnt corespond with US Toy Laws, hence the shut down of his company or lawsuit. As simple as that, BBTS is covering their butt (rightly so in this day in age). But that aside I don't want this to grow into a flame about how stupid the laws are, im just stating what it is. And ofcourse this is just MY Interpretation.

These galleries are magnificant Ryan. I want a MP-05 Megatron so badly now, Takara did a fantastic job on the figure. Any doubts I had about him (small thin legs) have been casted aside. I am probably going to have a friend pick me one up in Japan so I can get a unmoddified version.

yeah! We can only hope that we get into double digits on the MPs! we need soundwave, and the dino bots! that would so rock, and I don't know who said it before, but Mp Devastator! Six constructicons the size of Starscream that combine! make them a little cheaper too.

I do agree too that mp starscream is too small, he should be like maybe a head shorter than megs. They should also make him cheaper. He is all plastic and smaller than the others, but he is still a really cool toy. Strong plastic parts. I have all of them, and I would have to say that I like my mp starscream, but I like mp4 better. My brother got mp2 and I just switched thier guns out! so prime has the black one and magnus has the greay one. some one does need to make a roller for mp4 as well.

Bring on Megatron I can't wait!

as far as mp5 having skinny legs, I can deal with them. I don't think that is the problem so far as his scope. I think they could have found a way to make it trasform as well and look more like the cartoon and more scaled to the figure. I know this is a dead horse but I can't help kicking it when its down. I would have liked a better over all robot mode vs an acurate alt mode. He is still really cool and the best Megatron ever!

Just a thought....if someone has a vacu-form (to make replica plastic parts out of for kitbashing), you could take the outside pieces of meg's legs, and remake them...and then put them INSIDE over top of the triggers. The left one would go over top of the inside right, and vice versa.

Wow, and I was one of the ones that said it couldn't be done.
