And they won't appear for a while, as Hotlink and Megatron are kinda shelfwarming. I can see why: "yet another Seeker, and yet another Megatron, at a higher price no less?"
Prices won't drop either unless Walmart wants to clearance them, which means no intention on ordering more.

Seriously, each of the Walmarts I checked had several of the last two Voyagers. They don't have room for the new figures on the shelves.

My local Walmart has not had Megatron in a longtime, but Hotlink is there in abundance.

I still stumble on a Megatron here and there but he's sold much better than his case-mate. I should know, I bought one first thing. As for the availability of the voyagers in general..... it seems to vary by store. Some only have one or two Hotlinks, some have a bunch, some have none. I have decent expectations of actually finding one.

I've had my online pre-order cancelled twice, and this third time of ordering it I've got the dreaded delayed until further notice.
I highly doubt they'll be in any of the three stores that are within an hour of my home, as all three of them have cut their Transformers section down to maybe 4 pegs wide and there's a literal shelf storage congestion of Megatrons and Hotlinks that have exploded over into the storage for other toy brands.
I guess if somebody needs a Netflix Megatron or Hotlink give me a PM, and I can pick up as many as you need.

Here are the five deluxe-class Netflix Wave 2 listings on Walmart.com and for some reason Red Alert is now showing for almost $24. Still not in stock.
Bumblebee
Impactor
Elita-1
Red Alert
Wheeljack

Pre-orders for both sold out long ago. Soundwave sold out almost instantly when announced and Prime lasted a little while.

Thanks I knew Soundwave was going to be extremely popular, thankfully I'm probably one of the few who don't want one. I just want the Battle Masters from the Prime set.

o.supreme wrote:Thank you. I wonder how people get these links when nothing comes up via search. If you just type "Elita-1" in Walmart under toys all you get is the PotP and SS.
My Google-fu is ninth level, lol, but seriously I work in IT for higher ed, and one of my skill sets is searching for solutions to obscure issues. I had already ordered all of Wave 2, so I pulled these links from my orders list. Still, for a new release or something old I want to get, I never use Walmart's or Target's search; always use a search engine and use specific phrases like "Netflix Transformers Deluxe Bumblebee Walmart," and the search engine will spit out some good links.

Interesting, I thought those links were fake. When I was trying to get ER wave 2 a couple months back, I could get links in a search engine, even ones that said stores had them in stock, but they all proved to be untrue, I was told the opposite, only rely on what you can find in Walmarts site search....Now I'm really confused.

Between last night and today, I've hit four Walmart's in the greater Phoenix valley and saw nothing but Wave 1 Voyagers. Got some toy shopping done for the god-kids so it wasn't a waste of time.
I guess I just expect better from an online service, if a pre-order is placed it should have priority. I don't see this issue anywhere else I pre-order, video games or blu-ray movies are the first that come to mind.
Phoenix is a huge place. That's a lot of ground to cover.

Cheetor, Deep Cover, and the Allicon are included in the listings, so Wave 3 may be a mix of Siege, Earthrise, and Kingdom molds like how Wave 2 is a mix of Siege and Earthrise molds.o.supreme wrote:So if there is a 3rd wave, no doubt it will be Earthrise based. He was speculating about what the packaging gimmick might be for Netflix wave 3 since we seem to have completed Teletraan-1 with this assortment, not what the actual figures are going to be.
To which I saw..... maybe more of the alternate future cards from the rest of Kingdom. It's an interesting question.
Also, did Siege have a packaging gimmick that I'm forgetting about or did that start with ER?

Siege had hidden codes on the boxed figures (Deluxe and up) and some exclusives, revealed by blacklight (like everyone has one! ). Those codes could be entered on the Hasbro Siege site for hidden stuff. Think Cyber Key codes from Cybertron.

He's just saying that knowing part of the wave 3 lineup there's no reason to think it'll be based on a specific animated series like Earthrise just like wave 2 isn't and therefore the backdrop could just as easily be something from Kingdom or even Siege.
As for what wave 3 will come with, I'm sure they'll just keep doing backdrops, there's no shortage of places to choose from be it Megatron's throne room (probably has an official name I can't think of), inside the Axalon, or just Cybertron or jungle scapes.

Decided to do a quick run to one of the Fargo, ND Walmarts over lunch, and the reports were correct. I found a Netflix Bumblebee, and they had quite a lot of the deluxes from this wave (some were piled up on the high shelf). There were also a couple wave 2 Earthrise deluxes on the shelves as well.

Same here, I plan on checking this weekend. Some stores like to wait until Black Friday to put stuff on shelves to make things more impressive. Right now I've got one store with nothing on the NetFlix pegs and shelf and another with just one each of Hotlink, Megatron and Sideswipe so the space is there, just need the stock.

It was a little of BOTH actually. I know the Netflix waves are nto tied to a particular toy line BUT they appear to be tied to a specific animated series. Wave 1&2 had the B&W Siege image, and all characters appeared in the Siege portion of the animated series (Except for Nemesis...which I guess could be a spoiler for the next series). It would not be out of the realm of logic though to think that wave 3 will include a B&W version of the ER packaging to go with characters that will all appear in the ER portion of the animation. Not saying it's a 100% certainty, but it is a possibility.
And yes I'd like to know about any included backdrop gimmicks, but I guess it's too early to say.

Because they redecoed them a bazillion times, either keeping the yellow with a different pattern in a different color, or switching the black and yellow! Not to mention they both have toys in all the major size classes (equal to Optimus Prime)
Fortunately, G1 Bumblebee has stayed small by virtue of how the Generations-style lines are treated: Deluxe is the largest he's gotten

It's less likely to just be thrown away & end up as landfill, so Hasbro get the double bonus of claiming that they're reducing waste while at the same time incentivizing customers to buy even the most crap-tastic of figures (that might otherwise become shelf-warmers) in order to complete a continuous image.
Aside from having to buy those crap-tacious potential shelf-warmer figures you don't like in order to complete a background (which, obviously, sucks), I hope the idea continues in future lines.
Besides, I'm sure even single panels from just one package could make for some good photo backdrops, if angled correctly...?
