Honestly, the only thing that kills me about this mold is the side profile... when he's in his infiltrator/ghost deco, I guess that's less an issue and more a defining feature.

Technically, he's not a ghost. He's using his cloaking ability to turn invisible.Rated X wrote:A ghost WFC Starscream is not a must have.

I hope the leftists are thrown out of office soon, so the recession can really end, and Hasbro can go back to making REAL transformers instead of the ones they've been farting out of the 'El-Cheapo-Mc-Suck-Suck' factories in Chumbawumba.

Probably best not to make political statements on these forums. Some of us are die-hard partisan warriors (like our Transformer friends), and you wouldn't want an otherwise friendly discussion to get ugly.

It's translucent, representing his cloaking ability in the game.welcometothedarksyde wrote:So what's different about this one?

Translucent plastic all around, and he includes additional repainted FOC weaponry: Shockwave's cannon and Sideswipe's big blaster in additon to his own. See the first page.

The same characteristic all repaints like this share.
An inflated price equal to highway robbery.

Skywarp and Thindercracker were not in Fall of Cybertron. Starscream had the cloaking ability in THAT game.
PWND.

Yeah, Strascream can cloak and WILL cloak in the FALL OF CYBERTRON game.
What you are referencing is the first game, War For Cybertron.(I prefer the first game, honestly)

Now that it's hammerred so hard that you are now crying out for mercy, I just wanna tell that 100$ for this deluxe is WAY too expansive. That 100$ for a repaint will be better used for the G1 colored Supreme Starscream that is about to come out.

Oh look you're back, either time passes super fast or you can't count to six, because correct me if I'm wrong, but you claimed you wouldn't return for another six months because we all suck and you're so super strong willed and amazing?
And lookid here, the post is again directed at Sabre and aims at sticking it to him while again being super wrong.
You trully are super amazing and fantastic at life priorities, please teach me.

But not 151$ glorious.
(110$ for the toy + 14$ shipping + 27$ custom fees for sure because order worth more than 100$ from the USA)
So, I'll wait for it to be on clearance in a year.
And it will.

This mold always looks more fun from afar than it actually is once I get it in-hand anyway. Getting Generations Skywarp a few weeks ago killed my usual desire to army-build, and there's BotCon exclusives I actually feel like saving up for this year.
Maybe I'd feel different if I'd played the game, but I'll go back and catch up on MP Seekers before I get what's essentially another ghost-Starscream homage (in that he's getting this sort of toy before other characters with cloaking abilities in the games whose G1 counterparts didn't have a history of noncorporeal resurrection), awesome though those extra weapons look.

it's either that, or risk breaking joints every time you transform him. Take your pick.

Delta Magnus wrote:Ah, yes. I'd almost forgotten how goddamn fragile clear plastic can be (which I really shouldn't given how careful I have to be with my Tamashii Stages). It just looks rather unsightly... Maybe there's a slightly less clear but still mostly translucent plastic that isn't as fragile?
What is really ugly looking and even fear inducing is the goddamn pricetag that is slapped onto it.
