DECEPTICON BLUDGEON was nearly destroyed by a fight with the Metallikato master Autobot Whirl. Forced to retreat and hide, he scanned a new vehicle mode and disappeared into the Southeast Asian jungle. He is desperate to prove himself against an AUTOBOT, however, so he has caused just enough chaos locally to attract the attention of IRONHIDE. Now he lies in wait for the AUTOBOT, ready to spring his trap and destroy his victim in an instant.

That's cool! So now I must get JA Ironhide and Voyager Bludgeon...
I wonder if the figure will have good light piping. Lord knows it has big ol' red eyes. I hope they'll light up real good.

The only bummer is that I can already tell by the turret mounted machine gun that all the guns and swords are made from what I like to refer to as "Bandai Putty", that soft, bendy, flexy plastic that droops from its own weight and never returns to its straight position unless you boil it. A small flaw in an otherwise wicked looking figure.

It does appear that way... unfortunate, but it won't stop me from buying it of course. I only hope his barrel sword will stay straight enough.

Please dont tell me he crash landed into a museum in robot mode, scanned some samurai armor, and then got his tank mode from the World War II exhibit down the hall...

Rated X wrote:If he is from Cybertron, why does he resemble an Earth style samurai ???
Because it's a homage to his G1 Pretender self, which shelled in a Skeleton Samurai-style shell for some reason or another.

He scanned his new image in Southeast Asia. That's explanation enough for me.

Reading his bio, basically he's the same Bludgeon as the one that came with Whirl in TRU 2pack?

I believe the tentative date is the first quarter of 2010. We'll get the exact date the closer we get to January.

But I can say I hate the bendable light gray plastic already. I hope someone recasts them in better materials.
But other than that this thing is absolutely awesome.

A friendly Bludgeon? Nonsense, its eyes are only giving you a false sense of weakness.

First time in a very very long time that the bio actually makes the figure even more of a must by for me.
Setting aside the homage. The bio also indirectly explains his Samurai look. My staging it in South East Asia.
Ohh the shelf is going to look good with this guy and Jungle Attack Ironhide in the heat of battle.

Wait, I know what it is. Bludgeon's assessing potential FACE donors. Its eyes are wide with anticipation. Bludgeon comes with bladed implements so, which are obviously for facial reconstruction purposes.
On the next episode of Nip/Tuck: Bludgeon

i wonder, with those big ole' eyes....
if it would be possible to dremel out the inside of the head from underneath and stick a red led up in there

Could it be that Bludgeon is Movie Optimus Prime's lover? As that would explain Prime's line of "Give Me your face!" He just want to make Bludgy a present.
