I would dig that.
Agreed. that would be a great extra, and would make the dvd more worth it for me. not that I don't plan on getting it already.

No seriously, I REALLY hate when they do the DVD with no extras... Don't you remember the original adverts for the DVD format?
Ah, well.

I know I could download it now, but I just as anti-movie bootleg, as I am anti-repaint!
They're very bad things.

That would be so beautiful. The extended film, anyway. I don't really think it has to be rated R to increase the enjoyability.

Today Michael Bay's website has been updated by Nelson with news about the DVD. According to the update there will be two versions. The regular version of the DVD will come with no extras other than a director's commentary. A multi-disc version will also be released. It will come have the movie with director's commentary and additional discs with tons extras. Transformers will also be available in both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray formats.
They're gonna be released at the same time?
Or months apart..to rake in the dough...?

Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the work everyone does on this board to get TF news out to us, but this is a pretty weak update. Why does Michael Bay/Nelson think he's revealing anything we didn't already know? Every big movie gets this treatment (Batman Begins, V for Vendetta, Superman Returns, etc.). He could have at least told us what a few of the special features would be.
My fingers are crossed for a commentary with Peter Cullen, and possibly other voice actors.

So that means we should expect to pick up our MP Starscream and Multi-disc movie at the same time! They should run a special like Pre-order MP Starscream and get the multi-disc movie for free! I sure hope they come out with an extented version, I think they are according to the inteview with...ummm, the guy who did Bumble Bee's sentence.

D: Lucky piece of...
Thats it, I need to work at Target. haha
Yey for the movie! I'm gonna buy the multi-dvd no matter the cost. : ) Can't be more than 20 something dollars. It'd be cool if they had a limited edition toy to go with the first 500 dvds or something.

Although I was sort of expecting to have 2 special editions, a 2 disc and a 3-maybe 4 disc edition. Bet just like Happy Feet, the single Disc version will just sit and rot on the shelves, while the 2 disc flies out the stores.

I second that!
I'd definitely pay the extra 2 bits for a version with THAT option.
