Sabrblade wrote:Now, that is much better representation of Optimus's appearance in the show. Either Hasbro or Takara needs to make a translucent version of the Warrior to give us a proper Corporeal Ghost Optimus figure.
Hopefully we'll get a voyager wave at some point or a larger comparable version.

So the problem exists on Takara's version too, eh?Wolfman Jake wrote:I just got Takara's One-Step Underbite from TFSource this afternoon. He will not stay in beast mode at all. I've seen plenty of reports of this being a problem, but no solutions. Is mine just defective or is it fixable? Will I have to keep exchanging it until I get one that works correctly?
TFWiki has this to say of his transformation issue:
Caution should be used with his transformation, as many early samples would lose the ability to lock into robo-beast mode with rigorous/repeated squeezing of the haunches (vehicle is the "default" state, beast mode relies on a tensed spring to stay locked in).

Wolfman Jake wrote:Yeah, I read that in the wiki too. Mine never, ever worked correctly from the get-go, though. I'll contact TFSource and see if I can get an exchange. For now, I've got a clear rubber band keeping him mostly locked in beast mode.
After reading these last few posts mine has decided to stop working. I got it a few weeks ago and it was working quite well but within the last 24hrs no go. It's a shame because it's a cool design and fun gimmick. This really should've been thought out more.

Uh, there's a perfectly Strongarm in the line. Are you confused with the repaint "Gregevor" as a new Decepticon character? Gregevor isn't replacing Strongarm.
Thanks!!!!!! Gregevor is a male?! That means Primus put a male in a female's body!Oh boy,is this weird!First BW Inferno and Waspinator, now this?!Someone please get rid of the dark energon in Primus.

Yes, Greejeeber is male. The only thing really feminine about the toy is its lips, but the toy's box art removed that aspect from the character's design, and its bio didn't specify a gender for Greejeeber, so it stands to reason that Greejeeber is male since it's based on a preexisting male character and had nothing given to it to indicate it being female.Lockdownhunter wrote:Wolfman Jake wrote:Lockdownhunter wrote:You know,Takara always has to mess up and turn them into First Go! I believe you will like them both. I'm surprised by how fun the Warrior class figures are. The extra paint apps from the Takara versions are well worth it too.

I thought about buying the Hasbro version of BB, but 20$+tx and a 10$ Reprolabels upgrade to make the figure not look like shite is a bit too much for me. So, Takara all the way!

Wolfman Jake wrote:Well, I went to TFSource yesterday to exchange my Underbite in person. We tested the new one there at the warehouse to make sure it would work, and guess what? It didn't. Same problem. After about the 50th time, it stayed put almost all the way transformed. Couldn't repeat that magic, though. So, I'm just putting up with a toy that doesn't work for now, just so I can have the character represented on my shelf. I don't have a lot of faith that there will be a Warrior class or Hyper Change version of Underbite coming.
If you squeeze it just right and give it kind of a wiggle it'll lock, but the vehicle mode looks awesome so it's not a big loss to stay that way until there's a better figure.

Roadblock is no surprise to me after Gen. Scoop, just a little more Construction-y but Swoop was a new one to me as I never had the original version. His wingspan's a little lacking compared to the recent AOE Strafe, but I like the cape-like profile in bot mode, along with the facial expression he looks quite regal.

Haha, I see what you did there. I can think of a few transformers with a red chest
But still, for a pteranodon, the central red chest to me is a direct call back to G1 Swoop. At least as much as Big Convoy's red chest is a callback to G1 Optimus.

Graphy with a hint of Decibel?
Mini-con Swoop?
Posted by Emerje on April 15th, 2015 @ 2:10am CDT
I've heard others suggest Laserbeak, the original package art did show him with a gold beak and the package art for Swoop makes his face look like a turned up beak. I can't help but think the yellow triangles on the chest are significant.
Personally I like to think of him as a homage to Skyjack/Skyfall thanks to the black and red placement. Particularly Universe Skyfall with the gold face and gray hands.
Of course there's that whole Decepticon thing, but in Prime Grimlock starts as a Decepticon so it kinda works. Eh, maybe it's just me.

Nah, more like Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger from 1992, which was adapted into Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers the following year Or given we only have 3 Dinos (technically 2 and a Pterosaur), Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger from 2003, the basis for Power Rangers Dino Thunder of 2004.
OK, now I'm done

I think he's still called Runabout (and I called it ). Never trust the translation the stores give. I mean, "sublime" is most likely "Supreme"
Still a nice list, and a confirmation of some sort that Groove remains in Unite Warriors.

Finally, YES. All about the Vehicon General. Maybe this means we'll get a Jet Vehicon re-release sometime in the near future?

Yes, but in what form? It's unlikely they'll use this mold since Takara Tomy is going traditional and keeping with the five bot teams. I doubt they'll be making a new groove figure so maybe Rook has a groove head in his mold?
Runabout is a no-brainer, that's who the mold was intended to be in the first place.

What are we getting the groove confirmation from?
Also, Sabr, is that Optimus as big as the giant Hasbro Bumblebee coming out later this year? Does he beat DOTM's supposedly Tallest Optimus figure?
