Official Images of Classics 2.0 Wave 1!

Wow, these look brilliant - that Sunstreaker looks better than the first images we saw.

Onslaught looks fantastic, as do Prowl and Tankor.

Powerglide might have to grow on me a bit.

Interesting that Sunstreaker looks about eleventy billion times better in that photo than in the exclusive one folks got so worked up about. Note to Hasbro: It's been 20 years. You KNOW the line is popular. Please let someone who knows what they're doing transform the damn toys for promotional photos.

They all look so good. Octane is going to make Astrotrain look even worse than he is. Powerglide looks like a fantastic update of the character in both modes, as does Prowl. Just hope Prowl's shoulder launchers are removable. Not totally sold on Onslaught's vehicle mode, but I'll still buy him. That's one of the most impressive lineups I've seen since... well, Classics 1.0.

That's ironic, they pay $40 to see sunstreaker first and just a few days later everyone gets to see the rest at the same time.

Now those are good looking toys, especially Prowl and Powerglide. Looking forward to seeing the finished products once they've gotten their full paints. Definitely buying these.

Sunstreaker looks A LOT better here than he did on TFCC. Tankor is a real mind blower. I think I might be picking most of these up, hah.

Prowl, sunstreaker, Octane/tankor/whatever and onslaught are definately on my list. love that riot shield idea for onslaught.

wow, exceeded my expectations. sunstreaker looks better here with his legs correctly transformed. onslaught alt mode is very unique, looks more like something that could be in TF animation, very cool.

Oh sweet jesus, Hasbro has officially pulled out the "I Win" button and pressed it.

Hmm. Tankor's wings are waaay too small. Not sure about Powerglide's... missile launchers? Onslaught looks awesome.

I have to say that i love each and everyone of the designs. They are pure genius. Someone needs to digibash some color on these things like now.

Great stuff. Onslaught doesn't look like he belongs to that series, but he looks fine. Tankor is the one I want the most. He looks a thousand times better than Astroturd.

now we don't have to (heh) sign up for TFC to view images of the upcoming figs. they look all magnificent. Octane, er, Tankor looks awesome. that truck mode is killer! Onlsaught looks mighty proportioned, though i have yet to see connecting parts for a possible combination. Suntreaker we have seen before, but Prowl! goodness, i wish the arms were a wee bit higher, but at least we're getting a proper version now. Powerglide looks okay i guess.

I was actually trying a minute ago but it didn’t look very good. Overcracker should be able to make something better.

I cannot see one single problem with these.

I do however see so much potential for kitbashes and repaints! Especially Onslaught!
And some people need to dislodge their heads from certain body areas and realise that there is more to the Club than just a picture.

No we see it in color. Plus you guys pay $40 more to go to Botcon and don't get free figures and comics sent to you.

i'd like to help also but i can't do it without the actual color scheme in mind...kinda hard to do also since the grays are shaded with shadows, not plain flat gray...

Sunstreaker definitely looks much better than the image from TFCC. The TFCC one looked like he had some dorky half-smile/smirk thing going on, but I am now thankful that it was my eyes playing tricks on me.

Onslaught looks awesome, I never had Onslaught, so I will definitely be picking him up

As for Prowl, Tankor (Octane), and Powerglide... JOYGASM!!

It is my opinion that Prowl is the best Transformer in 20 years.

Well, my first response didn't post, so I'll just say that I love all of these figures. They are awesome.

Those look sooo much better properly transformed. If you guys get to see the TFCC images you will understand why we were skeptical of some of the molds. These images make them all hands down must buys.

Wow. I'm acally a little disapointed at least with sunstreaker. Prowl looks okay, but besides those two the other ones look great. Man with Animated and universe I'm going to go broke Damn Hasbro give us one of the toylines already, we don't want repainted movie toys we want a new line

Now those are Transformers. To hell with this "animated" crap. This is what Transformers are suppose to look like. I dont get why Octane couldnt be octane. I Know we're all gonna call him by his real name but its weird that they named him tankor instead. And i dont remember Prowl having those missile launchers in the G1 show. I know the toy had them but they were never shown in the show. Thats the only thing i dont like so far. Bluestreak had the missiles. thats one of the thing that mad the 2 of them different. I dont see why every one thinks Prowl should have them.

I wasn't surprised that prowl was a 350 Z, but theswe toys look amazing. I didn't expect Powerglide especially, last guy I'd imagine. Consider Streaker bought as well.

These beat the crap out of the animated and movie toys! I had promised myself I wouldn't be buying more classics... and now they brings these? I personally loved Prowl, it's so perfect! I'm anxious to see their final painted versions. Maybe I'll buy at least Prowl and Sunstreaker... and maybe Powerglide too... and maybe...

Wow, I can't believ I missed this story... I'm not a big G1 fanatic, so I'm so-so excited for this line - I was hoping to be wow'd and whoo'd by the wave 1 toys... sadly, I'm not feeling it.

- Sunstreaker looks too plain in robot mode, he just looks like alternator Mirage with a different head.

- Prowl is decent, but again, nothing to write home about.

- Octane (I refuse to call him Tankor. Not only is it NOT his name, but it's one of the stupidest names in all the TF Universe - might as well call him "Trucktor"!) looks wicked, but his jet mode suffers from itty bitty wings. Still looks nice though.

- Powerglide looks ridiculous. His head is way too big, and I'm not digging the huge nipple-cannons.

- Onslaught is easily the best of the bunch. A nice, obscure G1 character who hasn't been done to death like Prowl and Sunstreaker. His alt mode is different, while still suitable for the character, and the bot mode looks mean and wicked!

So yeah... with the exception of Onslaught and maybe Octane, I'm going to have to pass, sadly. I just get the feeling I've seen all these toys before...

...oh wait, I did. 20 years ago...

Powerglide yikes, his proportions look all messed up along with the fact he's a lot larger than his G1 counterpart. Of course the rest easily beat out any Transformers we've seen the past couple years.

Wow, today has been a huge day of cool news. One of the biggest since the movie.

Quality over quantity sums up the classic line perfectly.

With the Takara redeco of Megatron and these new additions, classics is going to rank high on the list of greatest transformer lines ever.

Powerglide is finally paid his due figure wise.

Hasbro says Onslaught is an "Urban Assault Vehicle" - my god, he's the EM-50 from Stripes!

I'm digging all these new designs, espeically Prowl and Tankor, though I wish Onslaught was a proper truck like the original and that the ultras were voyagers. Who really wants a Powerglide that towers over Jetfire?

Prowl looks great in bot mode, not so much in alt mode. Sunstreaker, meh. At least he looks better than his craptastic Alternator figure. The other figures don't really care too much for them.

Of all the characters that Hasbro could have done modern updates on, they really did pick some questionable ones like Powerglide and Onslaught. The Onslaught figure does look pretty cool though.

Normally I'm not one to ask for multiple repaints, but surely Smokescreen and Bluestreak can be possible?
