Official Images of Transformers Disney Label Donald Duck

not a fan of the colors.... hopefully theyll release a monochrome version....

I've always been a big fan of The Duck. This one definitely beats the Mickey one, especially since the robot mode doesn't seem to be as heavily based into a TF character.

Wooo.. I pre-ordered this already. Can't wait for it to arrive, I think the colors looks weird though but I bet its gonna be as as nice like Mickey, the pictures just never do the toys justice.

Looks a lot better than Mickey, I'd say (although if you have one, you just know you will need the other). Coloring looks like every color has been carefully painted by hand on a prototype, but I'm no expert in these things. It makes me think, though, that the eventual colors will differ slightly from these.

Aw...it still looks cool, but I was hoping they kept the Herbie coloration from the older pics of it.

I like Mickey by about 100x. But I'm going to get this anyway. It is so niche and out there, how can one resist?

Why'd they abandon the whole Herbie look? That was awesome.

And, while the Mickey set atop his mech looks determined and serious, the Donald set atop this mech looks happy and cheerful.

Well I guess I am not surprised..

Disney Now owns Marvel Entertainment..

So now they Own Spiderman, and all other Marvel signature characters..

Now they are worming their way into the transformers..

They Own ABC tv network...

Before long Disney will rule the U.S.

Then the World!!!

I am going to wake up one morning and have to sport Mouse-ears for fear of being whipped into submission by a Disney employee dressed like Hook from Peter Pan!! God Help us All!!!

You guys think there's any chance Hasbro will ever make Mickey and Donald for the U.S. market? I'd buy both, but not at import prices.

I was actually thinking the same thing...Marvel already does business with Hasbro...though that may be a good thing since if Disney DID buy Hasbro I probably wouldnt have to worry about another Michael Bay (IMO at least!) crapfest...

Look at those colors. It's like they couldn't decide if they wanted his alt mode to be Bumblebee or Herbie so they said, "Screw it! Let's make the top half Herbie and the bottom Bumblebee". And the kibble! My God the kibble! Can the poor guy even move? I guess that's why he's got the skateboard/surfboard. He's like one of those really obese people that are so fat they can't even walk. So they have to drive around in a little scooter. And did anyone notice he's got horns? So he's horny? Poor guy probably "quack-off" with all that kibble. Does he even have hands under there? Oh, Donald.

I have no intention of buying this or the Mickey Mouse Transformer but I do like the look of the toy. I could imagine buying this for my nieces if there were a little older as they're into Transformers and Disney big time. I also do prefer the Herbie colour scheme.

I know some adamant objectors to these crossover products may find this offensive to say about a Transformer but I find the Disney products cute. Things can be worse for a Transformers toy line...that's all I say.

I got no problem with the Disney TFs. It aint my thing but if they were mass marketed/easily availible, Id buy em for my kids...they are cute toys

It's standing on a skateboard, that alone would warrant a purchase in my mind, but gonna wait for other pics first though.

He's supposed to be Bumblebee so of course he has horns. granted his horns look more "cartoon devil" than Bumblebee's but yeah. lol

Man. Why'd they have to go and screw up the colors? It barely even looks like Bumblebee in vehicle mode. The bot mode is pretty much what I expected, but the vehicle mode's pretty sad. And what's with the green/orange headlights?

I still have to drop $60 on this because my girlfriend wants it so bad. Oh well, it'll make her happy so that's cool. It'll just stay in robot mode...

I think Disney Label looks terrible.
I cannot stand Mickey Mouse, or most of Disney these days.

That being said...

I love Donald Duck, always have.
I love Bumblebee.
This one actually looks cool.

I might just buy this sucker.

Yes, but it's Downtown Disney's "Once Upon A Toy" store that sells the Transformers toys and merchandise.

They own my wife too, and i believe controlling interest in my son as well. Matter of fact, they bought into the kitchen. (The DVD/Blu-Ray collection doesn't even need to be discussed)

I know they carry Power Rangers, but Disney owns 'em.

And unless Hasbro decides to bring Disney Label over to the US, Disney won't be getting their hands on these. Last I checked, Disney had no deals with Takara-Tomy outside of the Japanese market.

Though, it is Disney, I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled something and got HasTak to do backflips to please 'em.

Maybe if Disney can get a Transformers ride of their own and they can use the first few months as a promotion and sell these Transformers Disney crossovers.

This thing is hideous. It just looks like Donald Duck on a skateboard with some random car parts stuck to him. At least the Mickey Mouse TF didn't have this much kibble. Look at the huge backpack this thing has. I just don't get why anyone would want this. I could understand if it at least looked nice, but this thing is just fugly, colors and mold both.

The release of Transformers Disney Label Donald Duck by Takara Tomy has been delayed till 27th February 2010.
Takara Tomy initially announced the toy will be available on this coming December 2010.

Still not digging the colors either, I'm afraid. I was hoping for a full Bumblebee homage in vehicle mode.
