Variety keeps tabs on which movie marketing campaign spends the most money on television ad space every week and last week, it was Paramount that won the number 1 spot. They spent $7.34 million worth of ads in one week and we probably know best due to the overabundance of new tv spots emerging all through last week.

here is a short blub from the article which you can fully read here.

Ads placed for the fifth installment of the toy-spawned movie franchise had an estimated media value of $7.34 million through Sunday for 992 national ad airings across 38 networks. (Spend figures are based on estimates generated from June 5-11. Estimates may be updated after the chart is posted as new information becomes available.) Paramount appears to be targeting a millennial-skewing audience, with key ad placements during both “Tosh.0” and “The Amazing World of Gumball,” as well as during the NBA Finals.

Cogman is fun. :)

Ok no more. I think I may now ban myself from this site for a week or so til I see the film hopefully next Thursday.

Oh and I don't know if anyone cares or has mentioned it already but tweeting the hashtag #Transformers on Twitter is followed by an automatic emoji of the movieverse's Autobot symbol. :P

With the Chinese premiere not too long ago, we can expect some new trailers that show a little bit more of what we can expect from The Last Knight. Courtesy from 9 Media on YouTube, we have a six minute compilation of several Chinese trailers following the Chinese premiere. The first one alone has a couple of new scenes; the audience and fans are treated to hearing Megatron for the first time, as well as Infernocus splitting up into his individual components. The other trailers are also worth checking out, as they have a couple of extended scenes that we have already seen.

With just less than a week to go, The Last Knight is gearing up to be one of the biggest movies of the year. Are you just as excited as we are?

Ok that's it. No more. NO MORE!

Unless something super weird or big happens I'm off here til I've seen the film. Take care, folks. Have a good week. :D

You don't actually believe that Infernocus would ever be some deep memorable character right?

He/They exist for the same reason Stormtroopers and other grunts exist and not ever complains about them.

I mean he had dialogue in both movies he was in but to be fair in movie 1 he was all yelling but it made sense for him, in DOTM he did talk but he was using lines meant for Soundwave that were reused for Barricade but still he spoke.

It's very likely he will talk it's just the matter of how much he talks but then again you don't need the character to speak to make them a good one I mean many people like Blackout even though he only said a couple of Cybertronian lines.

During the scene where Infernocus is combining I saw a familiar figure on the right of the screen.

Our lord and savoir Nitro Zeus the best con!

Also in the music video for the cover of Torches the scene where the Decepticons are caught in an explosion and additional Decepticon is in the background...Barricade who wasn't in the scene before.

Bay's flickr account uploaded some high quality screenshots of the movie and some pictures of the premier nothing is spoilers at all at least nothing obvious from what I can tell.

An interesting fact the description of the screenshot of Bee taking down the two legged Trf tank drone confirms that the name of those drones are "Sentinels".

Here are a couple of the stand out ones including the one I was talking about.

Paramount is going all out on this last sprint of movie advertising for Transformers:
The Last Knight. We have some new tv spots below along with some new HD images from Michael Bay's Flikr account, some promotional (and fictitious) behind the scenes footage featuring Hound and a great video featuring Calvin Johnson, Megatron, and his feud with Optimus Prime. We also finally have the confirmed running time to be 148m 53s by the British Board of Film Classification. Thanks to Seibertronians Deadput and SlyTF1.

You might have guessed, that dude wanted to say, "It was quite perfect, didn't have any useless scenes (literally, it reads "urine point" as one uses it to take a leak and not miss much), I want to give it 100% score."

The following interview did call out the whole OP-turn-to-the-dark-side arc a "typical Hollywood shit" though.

So Uk press screenings happened and some people uploaded the voice cast on places like IMBD and a few of them are spoilers.

These are official by the way.

Peter Cullen - Optimus Prime
Frank Welker - Megatron
Erik Aadahl - Bumblebee Matches up to what I heard from rumors.
John Goodman - Hound
Ken Watanabe - Drift (Good to hear that Ken's alright health wise.)
Jim Carter - Cogman
Gemma Chan - Quintessa
John DiMaggio - Crosshairs & Nitro Zeus (Hell yeah Best con voiced by one of the best voice actors!)
Omar Sy - Hot Rod (He's a good fit and he is also a legit French guy too)
Steve Buscemi - Daytrader Presumably this is the Junk Truck guy
Reno Wilson - Mohawk & Sqweeks (Makes sense since his previous roles were hyper or fast talking characters)
Tom Kenny - Wheels obviously this is Wheelie
Jess Harnell - Barricade (Nice to hear he is back)
Mark Ryan - WWI Tank (Interesting they don't say a name)
Steven Barr - Volleybot (This is probably the rumored Cuba Autobot who is one of the DOTM Autobots who is in Cuba playing "soccer" with Simmons)

Some of these are obviously code names or early names just like how in ROTf credits Demolishor as Wheelbot and Rampage as Skipjack or how DOTM called the Wreckers things like Amp and Target.

Very true, but it's still a little surprising to see a unique gimmick for the character unveiled in a trailer within a few seconds of said character getting annihilated.

Maybe it's Warpath, I mean it fits perfectly. It is true that he is canonically dead in present day, but he could played some part in WWII.

Maybe because it was already played few times already in other movies this year?

And not a single scorch mark to be found on the floor that Optimus shot. :P
He always tried to avoid collateral damage :D (Flashbacks from Mission City, Chicago and Kong Kong) Well, maybe now he is actually good at it

In a rather different spot of news than what we're used to for Transformers: The Last Knight, a couple of real-life cars mocked up to resemble Barricade and Bumblebee from the upcoming movie were put out onto German streets - then promptly towed away by the local Police! This bit of ironic justice for Barricade occurred due to the two cars not being street safe; with multiple modifications to the cars breaking Germany's road laws. Whoops! Check out the images, the official statement from the Police and the English translation of the latter below and tell us what you think of this news in the forums!

+++ #Transformers benötigen ein Update +++

+++ #transformers need an update +++

#Bumblebee and #barricade didn't take the bill without our forged colleagues when they moved through charlottenburg yesterday. Both stumbled at 12 am on Bismarck str. In Charlottenburg in a traffic control of our sections 24 and 25.

Since there are no stvzo on the planet #cybertron, they both had a lot of trouble in their luggage.
Who is surprised that both the " Autobot " and the " Decepticon " have had structural change, they are basically in the fluid. The list was long, along with chassis, tyres and lighting, both exhaust systems seemed to be clearly deficient. In addition, #barricade had an "injury" on the rear axle. As it came to the dangerous superior, he didn't want to tell us. But there was no suspicion of " Optimus crime

With the help of our tow icons, we've both brought you to the planet " Dekra Here you join your other steel mates and wait for an earthly opinion. The facility is not cybertron but they are the only species in their species.
Small plus, at least bumblebees passenger "wheelie" was fastened. The concerned look is justified:
- participation in the, next week should be at risk.
- the holders (39 and 27 years) are also waiting for of and the cost of the report.

Since when do police release a statement that is humorous? And im assuming that germany has similar laws to the US banning civilians from driving a car with the words "police" on it in the streets, so I doubt these cars were driven in. They even had the hoods up for display purposes so they were obviously towed in and parked with somebody's permission to attract business. Im calling fake on the whole police report thing. The cops were probably actors and towing the cars away was a big publicity stunt. Suprised you news guys believed this was a legit auto impounding. Cmon now... :-?

'fraid it's real. Charges are listed, laws broken are listed, etc. and there's been nothing to the contrary. If this does indeed turn out to be confirmed as a big PR stunt, we'll post an updated story to reflect that - but right now, everything's saying this is real.

China film insider has found proof that the Chinese version of the film Transformers: The Last Knight will be longer than the English version, by 2 minutes. We have the specific quote below and you can read the full article here.

An official distribution notice sent to Chinese exhibitors was released online Thursday showing a running time of 150 minutes for the film — two minutes more than the 148-minute version playing in the rest of the world. It’s unclear what the extra two minutes in the Chinese version includes.

I don't know witch part is the most shocking here... Megatron making "deal" with Humans? Megatron actually knowing some of his soldiers? Megatron actually leading? As awkward as circumastances are ,it actually seems that this time they try to give Decepticons some characterisation.

Not really feeling the name "Dreadbot", it sounds like an early pre-production name. This is one of those instances where I wouldn't have minded a name-slap, even the name of some lesser known Armada Mini-Con would do.

His name was apparently supposed to be "Hooligan" but it was probably changed for the same reason Slag has been renamed into Slug since Hooligan is an inappropriate word in some places.

Dreadbot was probably made up in a hurry.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronian Prowl4, Seibertron can give the exclusive news that actor and comedian Omar Sy will be voicing the autobot Hot Rod in the upcoming movie The Last Knight! This news comes thanks to the aforementioned Prowl4's twitter conversation with Sy, where the latter gives a very definite 'yes'. Tell us if you're excited for this casting choice in the forums!

Omar Sy is a fantastic actor.

I am more and more baffled by the type of cast going into these projects.
