Chicken with teeth, you kill me sometimes

Man the lines geared at younger audiences have really evolved. I mean the fact that the armor even works in some capacities with the Siege line, brilliant. What a 'why not' kind of touch. If they put just a head rotation in there, maybe just a little more articulation I'd be more into these. Like 100% sold.

But I think more than any review or set of images what's stuck with me is when you compared them to the Legends scale from previous lines. When I looked at it that way I felt like I went well duh, and kind of let down my guard against the toys for younger fans stigma.

The best part is the transformation. I am just really impressed by how neat everything ends up being in ambulance mode.

I'm looking forward to it. I love Sky Byte, Cheetor, and Grimlock, and I have high hopes for him and the Scraplets

I think it looks like hot garbage.

These toys are advertised as being for kids 6 years and up. The Transformers Animated line was advertised as 5 years and up; at least the deluxes. There's a huge difference in quality between these Cyberverse toys and Animated. Our standards have fallen if we think these designs even remotely pass muster for a kids' line. Like Animated, they should strive to really entice adult collectors.

Problem is costs have risen, animated Deluxes would cost the same or higher than what we pay for Siege Deluxes now. These are made for a lower price point.

Yeah these were designed for a pricepoint with a gimmick. Animated was right at that point right before the economy dipped and the size classes shrank. We can't do that anymore unfortunately.

I loved animated, and while these are different, the spark armor figures are still really fun

I finally found Cyberverse Gnaw at a local Walmart.

Fellow Seibertronians! While the new Transformers Cyberverse Power Of The Spark line has been steadily pushing out new figures for younglings (and adults) to enjoy, Hasbro still intends on selling at least one more release of their old Warrior class figures. Thanks to SoloJones1985 on Discord, we have our very first sighting of this 2 pack at retail. This 2 pack was found at a Tesco store in Lichfield, Staffordshire. For those who are unaware of this, this 2 pack is an unchanged release of Warrior Class Optimus Prime and Starscream in Power Of The Spark packaging. While this 2 pack has been revealed for quite some time, we haven't had any news on it until today.




Curiously, the 35th Anniversary logo that was present on the stock photos is missing from the actual retail release.

Anyone else getting an Energon Landfill vibe from Grimlock?

This is so ridiculous looking I'm lost for any kind of words to actually make a complete, grammatically correct sentence to describe it.

Finally got the chance to mess around with Ratchet more and take him to work.

The Spark Armor figures are really really good. While Ratchet could use a neck and upper arm swivel, he is still really good. Transformation is really unique, and the snowmobile is just so cool.

Great set, None of the Spark Armor figures i got disappointed

Does anyone have both Siege Ratchet and the Spark armor one?

I would love to see how the Spark armor looks on Siege Ratchet.

Some Spark Armors can fit on some Siege Deluxes.

Live from the floors of New York Comic Con, we have new images of the newly revealed figures for the Transformers Cyberverse line. Cyberverse has proven to be a very popular and interesting new Transformers show, and the toyline has produced some interesting toys for the show, and it continues to provide some new and interesting figures, especially for collectors waiting for more traditionally complex and articulated toys. Cyberverse is getting a total revamp with toys more similar to generations complexity and articulation, but still with extra gimmicks for the younger crowd. The deluxes showed at NYCC were Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Shockwave. Each come with an extra part which will combine to make a Maccadam figure. There has not been a build a figure this big in Transformers since Transmutate.

Really, really glad I held off on Spark Armor Optimus and Bumblebee now. Though I just bought Spark Armor Shockwave last night... Hoping this means a better Starscream, they can’t seem to do him justice this line for whatever reason.

Getting multiple Shockwaves from this line is an okay thing since he has a bunch of drones based on his altmode in the show.

This is a pretty good idea, I like the build-a-figure concept and the individual figures don't look too bad. I hope there's a Cheetor, Sky-Byte and Shadowstriker based on her mash-up-of-different-parts design.

Whoa, that Bumblebee actually looks really good! It's cool that Cyberverse is getting some less-gimmicky stuff.

I mean, fair point but I’m trying to dial back the army building. Since coming back from deployment in Korea, my barracks room has barely enough space for 90% of my collection, and I’m running out of room and money.

I definitely want all of these. They look great and it's nice to see effect parts appear in Cyberverse as well. Maccadam is just a great bonus and I hope thy do make Rack'n'Ruin next since it's doubtful they'll give him an alt mode on the show.

This is awsome news, won't make up for how bad my day is going, but it's at least put a smile on my face.

I have enjoyed season 2 immensely, and every time I watched it there was that little bit of disappointment because of how much I did not like the current crop of figures. I've looked at them, I've wanted to buy them but ... meh.

This though, they're doing their best to appeal to the younger market and older fans, plus an actual Maccadam? Hell yeah!

Now this right here is the cream of the reveals!

4 Good looking figures, and we get a Maccadam!! And they all looks great and posable!

And finally, Bee gets a toy where it's good and there is no fake kibble. Finally that great design gets a proper toy

Following up on the images from the floor earlier today, we now have some official images for the newly revealed Transformers Cyberverse figures!

The new Transformers reveals take the Cyberverse toyline in a step towards the mainline quality of figures. The new figures feature more complex transformations and more advanced articulation. They also all include parts for a Transformers build-a-figure and effects parts. The new figures are as follows.

Bumblebee - notable for being a Cyberverse Bumblebee figure that finally utilizes the actual parts from his vehicle mode to form his robot mode, giving us a real roof chest, bumper shoulders, and door wings. He comes with a handgun and his stinger weapon.

Optimus Prime comes with his ion blaster and an opening chest that reveals the matrix. He also includes a blast effect that doubles as a matrix blast from his chest.

Megatron is a more advanced figure that makes a much more convincing tank. He includes his fusion cannon complete with blast effect, and he even has a smirk on his face.

Shockwave once again shows that Cyberverse can produce some pretty dang good Shockwave figures, and he comes with a hand weapon complete with blast effect.

And finally, the build-a-figure for the wave is Maccadam! Maccadam comes in 10 pieces, though if those 10 pieces are divided up solely between the 4 figures listed here is yet unknown. Maccadam is the kindly bartender from Cyberverse who might actually be a member of the 13 and has also shown to be a pretty big help for the present day main cast. Maccadam is non-transformable, but promises to be pretty dang posable with all his pieces.

You get half a Maccadam, since he is made up of 8 parts, just in case that wasn't clear. The build a figure aspect here doesnt matter much since these are all figures I would buy anyway. What BLOWS about Marvel Legends BAF is that their build a figures have recently been something that should be a mainline figure. Thanos was the BAF of the Infinity Wars line AND of the Endgame line. And those lines consisted of 3rd tier comic characters like Black Night and Hercules that you had to buy. Like Fuck Off already. But here, its maccaddams, not a mainline bot and not a figure that transforms anyway. And you end up with good figures of popular bots from the show. He really feels like an extra, which is what BAF figures should be.

Also, people can always sell the parts they dont want (either the extra macadams part of the deluxe robots) to recoup whatever cost. We already have an established fan community seling toys, this is just getting added to the mix.

And I agree D-Max, these are the big reveals for me. Knowing that this line is actually giving us toys on the level with the generations line.

And finally, Bee gets a toy where it's good and there is no fake kibble.

His chest is as fake as Pamela Anderson's.

Oh my stars, these all actually look pretty amazing! Especially liking Megatron, and very excited to add another Shockwave to my army of Cyberverse Shockwave.

I see some hard points in them like the WFC figures. That's awesome.

This is...wow. hasbro, i was convinced i can just focusing on wfc, why must you do this? A great, proportioned figure, with articulation on par with wfc, actually in cyberverse toyline? I even want that bee, and i am not a huge bee fan.

Just quoting what Warden said. He could always be wrong. But usually in BAFs, the entire arm comes with a figure. So if the two arm pieces are given at once, then you end up with 8 pieces, as he said.

Maybe thats to show the posability options and that thisbis not just a static shampoo bottle figure?
