Arms Micron AM32 Wildrider
This mold is a great one, in fact its my fave mold of the whole line so far and this latest incarnation as one of the Stunticons delivers! First off I did not realise we were getting the swords with him so it was a nice surprise when I picked up the box and saw them on the back of it, they are a softer type of rubber as are his ''wings'' but not so soft they bend out of shape or kink. Joints are nice and tight and the new head sculpt is great once again missing out any sign of a nose and replacing it with a sad expression that reminds me of a clown thanks to the lines coming directly down from the eye. The colours and stickers all compliment each other and the Micron is immense simply because its an elephant................AN ELEPHANT!! that's right, Wildrider goes Gulliver style with his own mini minion who assembles easily and tightly.
Overall this is far from an essential purchase and due to the price will probably only appeal to Arms Micron collectors or fans of the character, one thing is for sure though, if you bite the bullet and pick him up your not going to be upset about it.
Wildrider scores a mighty 8/10 - knock a point off if your not a fan of remolds.

Agreed! It reminds me of my childhood in the 1980s for some reason.Sinnertwin wrote:Could well be my favorite prime figure yet
I can see why. I was considering the idea of ignoring my "G1 only" rule for a second time... Up until the head reminds me of "Frankenstein's Monster" instead of his G1 counterpart. So my favorite mold within the series/line is still Arcee.PrymeStriker wrote:I can't bring myself to like this. I'm so sick and tired of HasTak milking the Wheeljack mold like there's no tomorrow. Him and Bumblebee.
I can understand why you dislike TOMY's decision to use Wheeljack's alt-mode. But in their defense, it does fit their continuity's version of the Generation 1 Stunticon. Plus, for the life of me, I am hoping that they will release a "Masterpiece" version of Wheeljack.

This is the character this mold was destined for...'nuff said!
