Spiderman III was supposed to be the last of the trilogy but made so much, the studio is making 3 more.

I read that Bay signed on for 5 total.

That is suicide-worthy.
As mush as I enjoyed the movies, his ego is out of control. I have defended the films a number of times. However, that is different than defending the man himself. At ANY point if you make yourself more important than the film you are making, you fail. I think that's what happened to the prequel trilogy for Star Wars. Lucas thought he could do a better job of the screenplay because he's George Lucas. THe dialogue killed those movies. If Bay continues to put himself in front of the movies, he will go the same route. One can hope that he learns from this movie's mistakes...or maybe Spielberg can put him in his place..."Hey Mike, c'mon. I know better than you. See these gold stautes? They're called Oscars. You aren't going to get any unless you control yourself." Not that I think he's going to get any anyways...if he does, I will use cherry bombs on my Predaking.

Its is matter of opinion.

Do not take so serious a rumor,no one knows anything yet.And if he make were to make it more movies it would depend of the next movie and alot of people. Its do not depend only on him.

I also think that producers like Steven Spielberg will rein in Michael Bay for the third one. They'll take out the cons, the overly sexed attitude of the movie, and improve on the pros, the Transformers. So, I'm not worried about whose directing the movie.
I've heard rumors from some friends who were at Comic Com, and they heard something along the lines of Optimus Prime carrying a trailer to please the hard core fans. Don't know how true it is, but if it's something they are trying to do to please the core fans, what else could they have up their sleeve?

I could care less either way. What he lacks in character development, he makes up with his action scenes. I really think very few directors could pull of the fight scene in the forest the way he did. Also, like it or not, if you want to incorporate any realism in these types of movies, you're going to need the military in it someway, somehow, and with his connections, it's one less hurdle the movie has to overcome!
And like I said, I think Steven Spielberg will reel him in for the third one for more character development. We saw some nice character development between Sam and his parents, and the Autobots in the first one. (The little banter between Ironhide and Ratchet after Ratchet walks into the power lines is precious!)and this is due to me thinking Steven Spielberg had more hands on in the first movie and none at all in the second one. He learned his lesson, and will not repeat the mistake of leaving Michael Bay unattended.
Hopefully, they can get better writers too. They made a mess out of the Star Trek plot, but Star Trek was saved by some pretty awesome cast members. Transformers was saved by some pretty awesome action sequences.
