Site sponsor Robotkingdom dropped by to let us know they have listed a pre-order for the recently revealed Transformers Prime Arms Micron capsule toys. At the moment they are only offering a sealed case of 300, because they don't know what the assortments inside are. They will update the listing when they have more information.
Update: We were just notified by Robotkingdom that there was a typo in their listing. The price is actually $899.90 for a sealed case of 300.

Anybody want to do a group buy?
Posted by Anonymous on February 2nd, 2012 @ 8:51am CST
89.00 + 163.00 = 252
252/300 = 0.84
I see 5 distinct molds on the flyer (assuming there are no other molds):
5 x 0.84 = $4.20
Lets say shipping to each of us would be 5.00
round it off to $10 per group buy member...
300 pieces / 5 (if distribution is even) = 60 members of the group buy...
double checking... 60 x 4.20 = $252.00
Factor in gas and effort for the one shipping to 59 group members (assmuming no duplicate buys) - member that ships keeps the change. I call that fair...
Put me down for $10

The flyer shows 9 distinct molds, the four on the left and the group shot of five on the right.
Seeing that the ones on the right are just some of the ones from the news we had yesterday with the two packs, I believe there will be even more molds in this than 9 though.
We'll just have to wait till thy find out just what is in the case assortment, could be 10 different molds with 3 variations each.

This is, of course, assuming that the five molds shown on the right are not exclusive to the AM Deluxes & Voyagers.Dead Metal wrote:The flyer shows 9 distinct molds, the four on the left and the group shot of five on the right.

It's possible they're just shown to illustrate the ability to combine the Microns into larger weapons (that gigantic sword that Bumblebee is brandishing looks mighty cool, btw).
Oh Minicons, how I've missed you!

The fact that they combine really does multiply the want factor.

ACTUALLY, I only have maybe 5 minicons in my collection so far, and only because they came with other figures. Mostly because I skipped out on Armada and don't care to buy tiny figures that don't mean anything to me. However, Targetmasters are awesome, so if these are more Targetmaster...y, then I'm in!
There are actually a lot of Asian stores with those capsule machines around here so I really hope they make it over in that form.

Well said.
I bet some lucky dog managed to bag a case before they noticed their tiny snafu.
