1. “Lion City Roars for Grimlock” App
DINOBOTS – the incredible new group of robots – will be making their debut appearance in the upcoming movie, the TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION. And, rumour has it that their leader is in Singapore!
In order for the mighty Grimlock to emerge, we need to collect one million decibels worth of roars. To help in this quest, fans and their friends can submit their loudest roars via the Facebook mobile application titled The Lion City Roars for Grimlock.
To access the application, simply go to the following link: http://roarforgrimlock-hasbro.us.kacdn.net on your
mobile internet browser, or search for “RoarForGrimlock HasbroSG” within the Facebook mobile application.
The application can also be accessed via Hasbro Singapore’s Facebook page:

This isn't the first time there's been a midnight release for the movie figures in Asia.

Exactly! This goes to show there's at least one division of the Hasbro monster that knows what it's doing when it comes to showing their older fans/collectors some love. Besides, in this day and age do you honestly expect that there are parents who still hold on to "old fashioned" values like adhering to bed times and teaching their children manners and respect and other such dying, out-dated concepts? Good luck finding any! There will be just as many, if not more, cranky and over-tired children clamoring for these things as there will be unruly, obnoxious adult collectors.
I'm not going to lie, I'd send my 14 year old into that inevitable mosh pit to battle both adults and children and then negotiate some obscenely high compensation afterwards.
Personally, I'd just be content with the small "Then and Now" figures. I could care less about the gold Prime but selling that little gem on e-bay would go a long way towards my sons first car AND teach him the value of exploiting other people's greed and lust for silly baubles. This could be a very enlightening family "growth" experience.
Leave it to Hasbro to provide such wonderful family bonding experiences. We need to have more events like this in the United States.

Gold painted figures! I wonder if it real gold or just gold colored paint?
