Though, with two altmodes (one for each bot mode), it's more along the lines of Animated Shockwave, which is also cool.

This sounds intriguing to me but even as a huge SW fan, I still can't get myself to buy any of these crossovers.

That's too bad, you probably would have put a more entertaining spin on it I tend to be a little dry, but I'm working on it.

I've been getting the Star Wars Transformers since they started in 2006; sure they've gotten more 'kid-friendly' and more expensive recently (haven't actually bought that much recently...I thinkn the only one I got since Summer is the Xanadu Blood!) & I'm certain (and hoping) this new model will be on the same complexity level, if not greater, than the freakin' awesome Death Star!

...like anything that has "Transformers Crossovers" printed on the package?

That and "Power Core Combiners"

...which I regret giving a second chance. My Throttler has two right arms.

Unfortunately you're probably right. Of the two Star Wars Crossovers I've bought I gave one away and returned the other. I wouldn't mind having the Vader/Deathstar in spite of it being a giant shellformer though.

I love Star Wars.
I hate Star Wars Transformers.

Yeah, they're like the total opposite of peanut butter and chocolate.

I will defend to the death Hulk, Venom, and Grimstone. But this... yeah, this is going to be terrible.

I'm trying to figure out who the market is on this. Ever SW Person I've talked with hates these, and almost every TF fan I've talked with hates these.
I think it's aimed at kids who don't know any better. There must be enough of them out there to make this somehow viable.

Loved animated Shockwave, he's still one of my favorites. This might actually be somewhat interesting if it wasn't Star Wars.

I just picked up the Vader/Death Star a week ago at a 2nd hand store store. It's cool but at the same time has great capacity to piss a person off but that's probably due to not having any instructions on how to transform the #@$%ing thing. I don't regret the purchase since it goes well with the X-Wing fighter and Tie Fighter from the Crossover line but these are the only SW Crossovers that I have been willing to pay money for.
I know everyone is saying that this Star Destroyer is going to be crap but, unlike the majority of the DotM stuff I've seen, it will be crap that I'll actually be tempted to throw money at. I'm a SW fan from day 1 of the saga (yeah, I saw the original in the theater back in '77...I'm that freaking old) and the thought of having a transforming Star Destroyer has me in fan-boy heaven.

Same here. I used to get the Lego sets and some of the action figures until the Clone Wars came out...
and somehow I ended up here. That should tell George Lucas something.
Dear George Lucas and company,
Thank you for ruining Star Wars for me so I could rediscover Transformers. I'm having a much better time now.

So, it'll still mostly be 1 toy with 2 modes, like animated shockwave.
I hope it's decent, because we've gotten so much jumbled messes out of these lines.
Kids must be eating them up if we keep on getting more, and they keep adding no effort.

They won't.

It's funny how Hasbro can't keep Universe (or whatever it is called this week) running constantly yet Crossovers never goes away.

Comes with it's very own sharpies to colour it how you like.
Great for five year olds!

They are saving that for the Barbie crossover. You dunk it in cold water and it auto-transforms into a princess with different color hair.

Well, your pessimism must have made you color blind.
In episode 3 anakin wears a healthy amount of black.
I think you're just too against the idea to look for ways that it would work.

I would love for this to work. Problem is, almost all the rest of their SW/TF toys have not worked.
