I don't think this is an April Fool, but MAN, do I want Jeep Bee!
Posted by Bounti76 on December 6th, 2019 @ 5:45pm CST
I'm holding out hope that Shatter is far better than her car mode figure. That was a fiddly mess. This one, going off this picture alone, looks to be better articulated, for starters.

Roadbuster is looking awesome - actually, all these look really good! I'm not interested in Shatter but they got it to look just like the CGI model, and Jeep Bee is looking great too!
With the deluxes revealed, I wonder how long until we see Sentinel!

Jet shatter looks like a mess, hopefully it holds together more than the car version.
Jeep Bee is not looking good. Guess I just don't like the BB movie designs, they are to simple and G1.
Hopefully this reveal means we will be seeing Sentinel Prime, Scrapper, and Overload soon!

Shatter actually holds together really well in car mode. In robot mode, she's a mess. Loose joints, very limited articulation... she's the Deluxe Airachnid of Studio Series.

2020 list so far:
Earthrise Sunstreaker
Earthrise Quintessa
Earthwise Quintesson
Studio Series Shatter V2
Studio Series Roadbuster
Earthrise Tracks is questionable until I see some images.

So, thank you, Hasbro, can't wait to pick him up. And hopefully the other two will be released later in the year.

Nah, I don't think she's that bad. Besides, the joints aren't even loose on mine, and I can get her into some good poses. I'd say the very first SS Bumblebee is worse than Shatter since I can't actually transform or pose it without the roof flying off.

He never had one in the movie, did he? I always assumed he did because all the figures had one, but I don’t think it was actually in the movie. I do hope that Gatling gun can attach to his shoulder like in the movie, though.

Shatter has a sublime robot mode, but the Harrier mode, oof. Could be the renders making it look worse to be fair, and the robot mode really is awesome, but having spent a lot of time around a real (albeit different model of) Harrier, it kinda pains me.
What really annoys me about Shatter though, is that we've had a mediocre car version and a good looking jet version, whilst Dropkick is the reverse- a kinda meh helicopter version with a cool car version. I was originally going to get both of them in car form, but then Shatter turned out to be a bit crap. So I either have them "mismatched" or accept that Shatter is gonna need mods to not suck.
Damn, first Airachnid, now Shatter. What is it with Hasbro and ballsing up the toys of really cool female Decepticons?
Bumblebee looks great, though it looks like the chest is fake, which kinda sucks.
The real question, though, is when do we get Blitzwing?

No, he had it. He only used it briefly, however. There may be a few other points in the film for which he was seen using it, but the most noticeable scene (as well as the first one that comes to my mind) would be after it's revealed that the Autobots had not perished on the Exodus, when they appeared in time to save the humans from some random Decepticon Scouts. Roadbuster can be seen using his saw to quite brutally tear apart one of the aforementioned D. Scouts.

Roadbuster looks really good, and I am super excited for more Wreckers. Bring us Leadfoot so we can complete the armored Trio!!
Shatter looks really good too, nails her triple changer body style, all the way down to the location of additional car parts and head. Looking forward to her. And now, we can have car Dropkick and jet Shatter transform between 2 modes, and look and be great, while the other mold for each can act as the 3rd vehicle mode.
Bee looks really good! They nailed that jeep look, which I really did enjoy in the movie. well done there, excited for him too.
all 3 are fantastic, thank you Studio Series! Now, bring on the final Constructicons in proper images!
Posted by blackeyedprime on December 7th, 2019 @ 12:09pm CST
Shatters jet looks a little off (probably because of deluxe sizing?) but I'll likely get her to go with Dropkick.
Roadbuster looks really nice but will be a pass.

I keep seeing this, and no please.
Let someone else have a jeep mode and make it cool. Not every jeep has to be the 2 G1 characters that had that mode.
and Bee works it far better than either, at least to me

I'm thinking CW Hound head (which CW Hound can then have a hardtop head) and get a Detritus out of the jeep bee unless hound/detritus gets an update in Earthrise.

Agreed on this. Personally hoped the jeep goes to entirely new character, but bee looks good enough wearing it, so i'll accept it.

Both Bumblebee and Shatter come from the Bumblebee movie, released last year. Jeep Bumblebee is a take on the character as he appeared when he first came to Earth in that movie, transforming into a jeep in an attempt to escape the humans he accidentally crash landed into, and it's also the body that he fought Blitzwing in (who is still waiting on his Studio Series figure). Shatter meanwhile transforms into her second alt mode, a Harrier jet, and uses her robot mode body from the later part of the movie that incorporates both alt modes, whereas her first Studio Series figure was based on her initial Earth mode body. Roadbuster is based on the Wrecker character from 2011's Dark of the Moon, transforming into an armored version of Dale Earnhardt Junior's #88 Chevrolet.

As for WW2 Bee, it was way too ugly and uninteresting. But that Jeep Bee, I'm in love! Even with the obvious faux-chest.

Roadbuster and Shatter both look better than I expected though, I might grab them both. My car Shatter was alright, she isn't as bad QC-wise as other copies, but having the actual right head sculpt and less limited looking articulation are a good sell on this new one. I might have to go back and actually grab a car Dropkick now to go with her. I guess I'll use the alternate names from the concept art and credits for the Wreckers to give them unique names, so Roadbuster will be Amp, Topspin will be Tempest, and Leadfoot will be Target.

Yes, thank you. Sorry about that, it's been a while since I've watched DOTM, but I knew the shuttle had had a name that sounded somewhat like what I had said; I just took a chance at what it was.

The descriptions full cap names that are Trademarked by Hasbro, which is also why Roadbuster's description does the same for the word "TRANSFORMERS".Stryker P28 wrote:Hey usually the Description Full Caps another toy's name means that toy is or will be a toy

I do hope the satellite mode has more to it than the ROTF deluxe, since there's quite a bit of depth to the satellite mode that the original figure doesn't have.

The new info comes to us from the Walmart mobile app, where a new UPC code was found for a Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave figure. Now this is interesting seeing as how the next wave of Studio Series deluxes includes the Dark of the Moon Soundwave, and the following wave was just revealed to include Offroad Bumblebee, Shatter, and Roadbuster. Could we be looking at a possible new mold exclusive?
Another note to think about is the nature of this Soundwave rumor. We are getting the Dark of the Moon Soundwave, and while there is a Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave body, we also now have the Bumblebee movie Soundwave. The Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave transformed into a satellite and featured an interesting triple changer toy complete with Ravage-esque missile in the 2009 line. The Bee movie Soundwave did not transform, so we are not quite sure what he would turn into.
But both are possibilities. Sound(wave) off below to let us know what you think of this rumor in the comments section below!
