Courtesy of some scans of a hobby magazine, via Facebook page Planet Iacon, we have some teaser look at confirmed upcoming products from Takara Tomy, in a number of lines. Next is the slew of Legends figures, which will include what is released by Hasbro under the Titan Returns line, including the big guy Fort Max himself - check out all of the figures from LG21 to LG30 (still unrevealed) below!

Most of these were to be expected but I can't wait to see if they have retooled cerebros to look like fortress. Who's lg24 though?

Very interessted to see what they do with Fort Max. Since I have to order Fort Max online either way, I might as well go with Takara.
Also I still haven't been able to find CW Shockwave anywhere, so I guess I'll go Takara there as well

Huh the legends class figures come with an extra head. Interesting. As for fort max I'm either going Takara or sdcc since both are coming (or rumored to come with) the master sword. Just going to come down to price.

The more I see Galvatron the less I become enthused. I love the headmaster gimmick Im just likening how his face being hidden by that helmet. It sits too deep

We don't have Walmart in Switzerland and all the CW figures have been very hard to get at retail, so I have to rely on online shopping. Unfortunately I missed out on Shockwave and he seems to be sold out everywhere online :-(

Not only that: if I read the note on the bottom correctly, he will have Japan-original sounds as well. Yes, he'll keep the electronics

A few notes about the release names:

1.) Cancer = Crashbash aka Squeezeplay
2.) Broadcast = Blaster (kinda duh by the silhouette)
3.) Goshooter = Loudmouth aka Siren (possibly redeco)

Perhaps they know something we don't about future mold releases (like Headmaster Arcee) where the Minerva character could be better utilized.

It's interesting that, like with Q-Transformers, Legends is using Shockwave's Hasbro name instead of his original Japanese name "Laserwave". Though, with the MP going by "Destron Laserwave", maybe TakaraTomy can't use just "Laserwave" anymore and are now content to using "Shockwave" for everything minus the MP, for which they probably wanted to put effort into using the "Laserwave" name is some fashion, while Q-TF and Legends didn't need that extra effort since they aren't as "special".

I just noticed something that kind of irks me now with Takara's upcoming release of Hardhead. Why does he have a red cockpit for his tank mode? That's not consistent with anything from G1 with the character. Not the toy, not either of his fictional depictions, nothing. It's weird. I may end up getting the Hasbro version and just hoping for a later release of a more "Headmasters" version of Furos somewhere down the line.

In yet another post by our old friend TFYuki we have a new teaser image of the soon to be released Rhinox, Rattle and Waspinator! This new teaser shows off the 3 figures in their respective beast modes, giving us our first in-hand looks at the beast mode decos, which are very flattering and show-accurate for the most part. These will be show exclusives like last year's Armada Megatron and Black Convoy. They will still be available to purchase at import retailers but at a higher price than normal. So what do you think of these new Beasts? Will you try to get them? Are they the ultimate version for each character? Roughly the same way the US laws work, it all depends on use and territory, really.

All they did was split up the Titan Master Class sets between a Deluxe and a Legends release. One less price to worry about, and increases playability of some sets. Plus, so far every TT set has a Titan Master one way or another.

Crashbash: Vehicle given to Skull, Titan Master given to Shockwave as Cancer

Guys that shockwave is just the legends shockwave we got. They are just giving him one of the headmasters that we were getting in the set with the vehicles.

They seem by-and-large unchanged from their hasbro counterparts.

I can't spot anything different really besides the fact that shockwave seems to come packaged with crashbash.

The decco will be where the money is here I think. :-?

The image IS Legends sized Shockwave. We had the price reveal, he is priced as a smaller sized figure.

TFWiki posts Shockwave's partner as Cancer, which seems logical. This Titan Master seems to be a Japanese release of Hasbro's Crashbash, who is a new name for Squeezeplay. Squeezeplay was released in Japan as Cancer.

I sure hope it's light purple cartoon colors. I'd happily buy a second one if he's different from the Hasbro version.

Incidentally that is the Hasbro figure in the image, Takara Tomy uses those as a stand-in and gray scales the images.

While I like the idea of the Legends coming with a partner, I'm was hoping they wouldn't be based on the Headmaster Juniors, so they would get proper toys and not just heads
