The innuendo in that post alone would make Orci & Kurtzman blush.

In a Micheal Bay movie, yeah that ain't happenin'.
Sexuality and innuendo bothers me. Call me crazy, but imho that doesn't need to be in a movie about gigantic alien robots in the midst of an intergalactic civil war. But not seeing crude humor in there puts a little ease in my mind. Hopefully this won't be as juvenile as ROTF.

Me either. People always take what the critics and the rest of the general population say without thinking for themselves.

Do the writers have any faith in this movie that they have to include stupid sexual jokes to get in a laugh. The worst part is, when I saw the various sexual comedic releif in ROTF, I didnt even laugh I just groaned. Besides, what really gets me laughing is action scenes, like Prime ripping off Starscreams own arm in the forest battle and then beating him with it. Thats real comedy that isnt forced and in turn is funnier.

Heh, since this is going to be a hard PG-13, maybe they'll have Ironhide say the "F" word. Seems to be right up his alley.

I still laugh when Wheelie is sneaking into the shop, the whole dialogue during when Sam was being a smart ass with the jock when Bumblebee drove up to the school, Sam screaming when he realized the chick was a Decepticon, and some of the twins antics were funny. "It's supposed to hurt, that's why it's called an ass whooping", "Look at this mother..........".It's not funny now, but I remember the theater exploding when Leo tazed himself.

They said "f***" twice in the first movie (almost 3 times.) and once in ROTF, so yeah; they may.

Dude, Leo tazing himself was the third best part of the movie. Everything from Prime's body landing in Egypt to the death of the Fallen was #2, and the Forest Battle is a close #1.
Still, glad to see DotM avoiding a PG rating.

Really. What parts of the movies and who said them?

I don't recall a single F bomb in the first film and i've seen probably a dozen times. Epps says whoa mutha but he gets cut off before he swears during the Scorpanok battle. They say alot of other stuff but not that.

of course only does who adore the tranformers movies are thinking for themselves, those who dislike it are doing it because they are sheep
What is intelligent humour, well if you have to ask ? Its very subjective, but one interpretation would be, where there is an implicit and unspoken contract between performer and audience, where the audience expects that the performer includes a modicum of wit and observation about the absurdities of the human condition and the performer assumes that his audience has a modicum of intellect and learning.
What would not be defined as intelligent humour, for some it would be
- Robots P**sing on people
- dogs humping
- robots humping legs
- jokes about small people where the joke is they are a small person
- jokes about hash cookies which are decades out of date
- crass offensive racial stereotypes that even the writers of Norbit (scarily norbit had writers)would find too low brow and idiotic

the script used perogorative names and representations for other races and nationality (so many xenophobism is more accurate in some examples)
