Transformers DOTM Voyager Shockwave Repaint

I'm guessing this is suppose to go with a more movie accurate presentation since he did have a hint of purple, but still looked silver overall.

looks like galvatron to me.

Looks awfull a can how the movie apps come in but i will never want this, all purple or nothing for me.

I dont have shockwave yet, so I'll need to see a robot mode pic before I decide to pick up the current one, or wait for this guy.

Well hasbro painting him like Megatron saves me alot of time and effort, all i need to do is buy this repaint then find a Megatron head to use to finally have a real movie Megatron. It does look a little more like Galvatron but theres a good balance of gray & purple so it could be use as either, plus the original shockwave figure would be better for galvatron anyway.

I like the original better so far, but I knew a repaint was coming. new smily!

This is one of the few times I like the repaint less than the original. My first thought was also Galvatron, but I think he would need a new head. Could this be a Radio Shackwave homage?

There's too much detailing for it to be a prototype. Notice the little gold details and such.

when i opened the home page, the text loaded first, and I read "Transformers DOTM Voyager Shockwave Repaint" and got really excited, then the images loaded, aaaaaand no longer excited. looks like RID Galvatron's brother who was dropped as a baby.

man if they would just slap a galvatron head on this thing.......even a 3rd party.....i'll buy it

For some reason I'm thinking of Beast Wars Megatron when I see this. If it wasn't for the Shockwave head stuck in there.

Shackwave was the first thing that came to my mind, but I guess Sixshot might also be a possibility.Either way, the original colors are better.

I like the purple just the way it is.

I prefer dark gray with a silver drybrushing, but that would cost too much.

there better be new molds coming out VERY soon. we have yet to see dino(mirage) and que(wheeljack) and soundwave, and they are already pumping out repaints. what the hell hasbro?!?!?!?

No different from the previous two movie lines.

Yea, the old movies line skipped over characters entirely. The 3rd arcee bike ended up being released as a repaint.
We only got 4 of the 7 constructicons, one didn't have the greatest bot mode, but 2 had real ones.
So, yea, be no surprise if we just get more repaints and not see more new molds.

Well I was wondering how they would repaint Shockwave. Would like if it is Galvatron, however I would like to see robot mode pics and a new head sculpt before I pick him up.

I might have got behind a Galvatron repaint for this IF it had maybe an orange arm cannon OR a new head. Alas, it has neither.

Voyagers aren't swapping MechTech weapons like the Deluxes, it seems.

Nice work on the digibash. Easy pass though. A new head like I said would have sold me on this, but the regular shockwave is good enough for me.

So all we get different is reverse coloration? Is it just me or does it seem like the rest of DOTM is straight up repaints?

Seriously, where are the retools and new molds? Like Soundwave, Que, Dino, Wheelie, Brains, and new off screen characters.

I just got my Shockwave yesterday and I love it. If I was going to get it repainted I'd much rather have the blue version shown on the box with the cannon arm on the left. It's possible this is a printing error but it does look really nice.

If they'd make a Galvatron repaint of ROTF Voyager Megs (which they haven't painted at all yet; hope they will soon), I'd be all over it, but although this doesn't look bad, I won't buy it.

PASS. Instead of making all these oddball repaints they should focus on actually getting the stuff that's out now to stores. Stores here only have wave 1.

This looks absolute pants and I hope it doesn't sell.

I have to see robot mode to make a decision. If it had a cool Galvatron head I'd definitely buy it, or if it looks better than the original I'll get it. But regardless, we need a leader class Shockwave and Megatron before everything gets repainted.

More 'ish' than Galvatron, I say. They'd need to add more purple, make that canon orange, and ditch the hose. I still like this figure. He was so freaking huge in 3D. I wish they had made him as a leader class instead of ironhide or especially instead of bumblebee. Ah well...

Keep in mind Hasbro is going to milk every last drop out of this voyager class before they unleash a leader. It's coming, I truly believe that, because it will sell and make money. It's almost a certainty. BUT, don't look for it until around the DVD/Blu-Ray release of DOTM. We will continue to see residual DOTM toy lines for atleast the next year maybe two.
