If you're a fan of Transformers: Earth Wars, then you'll likely know that G.I. Joe is being incorporated into the game!
And thanks to our friends at Space Ape games, we have a new video, posted to Seibertron's YouTube channel, that shows off the first efforts of that collaboration, Soundwave as a H.I.S.S. tank and Hound as a G.I. Joe V.A.M.P. complete with transformations back and forth, as well as the totally radical 80s soundtrack. Check it out below, and while you're at it, peruse Seibertron's YouTube channel and see what other awesome Transformers content there is!
"The G.I. Joe franchise is making its debut in Transformers: Earth Wars. Players will get the chance to unlock Joe team vehicle versions of Autobots Hound and Jetfire, and Cobra versions of Decepticons Soundwave and Skywarp. A pair of the new characters are scheduled to be released the week of October 21st."

Rather then see this in a game, I'd like to see this done with the toys. I thought it was pretty awesome in I believe it was Energon, where they had Snow Cat based on the GI Joe Vehicle. At least I think he was called Snow Cat. I don't remember now.

You're right about Snow Cat.
Here's the thing though: I'm not so sure we AREN'T getting these toys. Remember, Earth Wars was were we first saw the Dinobot combiner Volcanicus well before the toy even came out in Combiner Wars. Now we get the reveal of Earthrise and next thing you know we are seeing GIJoe Transformers in Earth Wars. Plus, it is the 35th Anniversary...we could have a few surprises coming from Hasbro.

Some scary fun coming in this weekend's event Seibertronians along with a free gift from Space Ape. Make sure to close your Earth Wars app and click the link in the update for some free crystals. The bonus game available this weekend has dialogue from none other than Simon Furman so expect some chuckles along with your spooks. - Inspiring Charge effect does not apply to bots, when Optimus Prime/Megatron has started their ability while those bots were deploying.
- Improvements to how the following bots behave if Inspiring Charge or Battle Orders abilities start while they are using their ability:
- Slash & Rippersnaper
- Punch & Counterpunch
- Snarl & Hun-gurrr
- Sentius Magnus & Sentius Malus
- Cheetor & Blackarachnia
- Laser Optimus & Armada Megatron
- Impactor
- Slash & Rippersnaper still chase outpost bots after finishing their ability.
- Punch & Counterpunch does not follow Inspiring Charge
Bug Fixes / Improvements
The following bug fixes/improvements are coming to the game with a content push this Thursday.
- We have increased the area of effect for Hound V.A.M.P. and Soundwave H.I.S.S. Glass Gas and Targeting effect. This should also help to keep the number of targets affected in the area more consistent.
- Gold Cybertronian Charge Power Core can now inflict up to 21% more damage if uninterrupted. (Previously 15%)
- G-Metal Cybertronian Charge Power Core can now inflict up to 30% more damage if uninterrupted. (Previously 15%)
- Hot Rod’s Blessing of the Matrix and Nemesis Prime’s Power of Darkness cannot be cast on Quintus Prime Core’s Sharkticons anymore
- Counterpunch can now attack targets behind walls.

Place three decoys that have 33% of your health and DPS. For 15 seconds, you go pack hunting using melee attacks dealing damage and any healing received is increased by 20%.

That's right we're getting Micromasters Flak and Cratermaker, Cassettes Nightstalker and Ravage, and Battlemasters Blowpipe, Firebolt, Pteraxadon, and Terror-Daxtyl! All as part of the versatile C.O.M.B.A.T. system introduced in Transformers War for Cybertron Seige. Keep your eyes peeled as a few Siege skins have been popping up in game as well.

An exciting new addition will soon be coming to Transformers: Earth Wars. For the first time we will be introducing Battle Masters, Micro Masters and Mini-Cassettes bots as characters you can collect. These bots will act as part of the new C.O.M.B.A.T. system that will allow you to change the weapons of your existing bots or add battle companions to any bot.
These new weapons, based on Battle Masters and Micro Masters bots, will add powerful new attacks to your bots and allow players to totally change how some bot classes behave in battle.
The Mini-Cassette companion bots will be equippable to any character and provide them with a powerful companion with its own unique abilities.
The bonus part of the C.O.M.B.A.T. system is that it can coexist with Power Cores, and a bot can have both a C.O.M.B.A.T. bot equipped and a Power Core!
The following C.O.M.B.A.T. bots will be joining the game first with more to follow soon.

The time has come to update the extra battle effects in Prime League and also in the new Prime Zone.

My game crashes so frequently it’s essentially unplayable. I tried installing it on a more modern device, but it can’t even seem to finish booting up on that one. It’s not an amazing game, so I’m not too bothered, but it’s still a shame.

You read that correctly: Per the most recent update from Space Ape games Transformers: Earth Wars is planning a big crossover with My Little Pony. This is no doubt in response to the upcoming comic book crossover event between the two franchises called Friendship is Magic we reported on in February. How characters will be earned or utilized in combat (or if this is in fact an April Fool's joke) has yet to be revealed but the basic roster of ponies available are listed below in the update. Don't forget to check the Earth Wars Twitter account daily for your free gift of 20 fuel cells. The Seibertron Alliance is looking for active players so look us up and maybe we'll see you on the battlefield. Stay safe out there Seibertronians!
