It looks like the latest issue of Gameinformer has completely let the cat out of the bag when it comes to the toy version of Transformers Fall of Cybertron Bruticus! Earlier tonight we got our first glimpse of Onslaught, now we get our first look at the fully combined Bruticus figure. We also get a look at Blastoff in the row of small images across the bottom. Check out the image below courtesy of 4chan.

Update: Keith Prime of TFW2005 has posted additional images of Vortex and Blast Off from the latest issue of Gameinformer.

Um, it doesn't look quite as good as I imagined though it also looks a little mistransformed, especially Blast Off's arm (actually kind of both of them). Still, it's a step in the right direction of combiners I guess, though it does look oddly like a PCC. Looking at the limbs though, it really looks like it Onslaught could have benefitted from being a Voyager so that the upper limbs would look a bit more chunky compared to the legs and arms.

From the tiny picture Blast Off looks pretty cool though.

it looks pretty good, needs a better pose. white back ground was a poor choice to showcase this gestalt. but he looks pretty good.

I have $10 that says a 3rd party Onslaught will be made.

seriously, this looks like a PCC on steroids. Onslaught needed to be voyager sized if not Ultra.

looks pretty bad combined, but ya, I'm sure a 3rd party add-on will make it look sweet. Either way, good on Hasbro for trying, just gotta keep trying to work out the kinks over time.

So all the individual combaticons guns combine to form Bruticus gun? I can see why they would think that would work, but it just looks messed up. I hope the photo was taken from a low low angle too.

I like the figure but I'm not crazy about the arms. The arms seem too long/big for the body. The main torso/Onslaught piece looks like a great sculpt.

Please, PLEASE be mistransformed. :(

Nevertheless, will still be getting it. But man, I hope the arms are mistranformed. They looks quite apeish as is.

Looks bad in especially around the arms and where the legs start.

I agree with those who say Onslaught could have benefitted from in being a voyager class figure.

I know im going to get stuck buying this thing for little man. #-o

OMG, its just another PCC type bot. This thing S C R E A M S...........F A I L !!! Seriously this is a major disappointment all around. Onslaught is way to small, and the arms look like they are PCC limbs plugged into the small ports of Onslaught.

Man this just sucks, lol. I wish It didnt but it does. When is SOMEBODY from Hasbro going to take the initiative and actually design a large G1-esque combiner?? With todays technologhy, they can do FAR BETTER then this!!

Hmm. I dunno. WAS impressed. Not so much, now. Of course, I will be fair and say this is Hasbro's photography at work, so I'm not giving my final judgment yet.

Could be super impressive.

I don't quite get the PCC comparison everyone keeps making, I mean, besides the drones, PCC just used the Energon method of combining.

This has 4 transformable limbs, a step up from PCC.

Was not expecting the gestalt reveal until we saw the Blast-Off and Vortex. Hey, Bruticus, DOTM Shockwave wants his MechTech back!!!

Overall, he looks solid! Would have prefered a beefier Onslaught (re: voyager class) to help out the limb connections a bit more, as they look lanky. But they did give him hands and feet, and maybe with the connections for the arms a bit spreadout, it will allow the figure to have better posability.

So, can we expect this in May, like the other FoC figures?

people probably see the relationship because where the separate "bots" connect looks just like the ports on ALL of the PCC combiners is why. Yea we all know they transform separately but what good is that when the combined mode sucks?? his legs and shoulders suck, they are almost identical to PCC limbs etc. Damn I just keep going on the more I see this thing, Grrrrr, lol. Onslaught needed to be at the least Voyager scale. Plus look at the arms! They are to long and just look "messy". Where as the legs actually look somewhat like you would expect them to look, I think.

It's the overall lanky proportions, aggravated this time by the very prominent arm connectors.
I agree with a number of people her, hope it's a mistransformed robot(that perhaps the arms could be closer to his body).

And please let those cannons attach to his back... all it takes is just a 5mm peg hole really @_@.

For me, it's the issue of lanky, overextended connections from the body to the limbs. It looks better on the legs than it does on the arms. Again, it could be to allow the limbs more movement, but looking at them head on, they look a little "off".

That said, I'm still excited about collecting him.

Vortex and Blast Off both look great (well, except for the hands in Vortex's feet). I really like the weapons they have and they just have an overall really nice look to them. Still a little sad that Onslaught isn't a Voyager, but oh well. Just got a lot more excited for these guys.

Oh yea I will get it, but Im just not as "amped" up now. You are right on about the arms and legs. Over extended ports, etc, It also looks like the legs in that pose will become loose if not already with 2 diff. points of articulation from what I see. Also the Top of the legs are to small and so is the mid section of Bruticus.

Oh well, I guess there is next year or the year after or 10 years from now when ALL the 3rd party's Gestalts are vastly superior to anything hasbro can get out, lol.

Why could they not do better hands? I mean look at those cruddy hands..... Why couldn't they do possible fingers. If this is the best Hasbro can do with gestalts, then the third parties easily make a better product.

This reminds me of Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace. All this build up and hype with the potential to be totally AWSOME. Then the full reveal and all you want is a lot of Darth Maul coolness and you just get a crap loaded of Jar Jar crapiness.

Urge to kill... Rising.

I'm still super hyped about this thing but I have to say it does look ridiculous. The key points of interest are those giant pegs that stick out near the shoulders. Why can't they just connect straight to the chest like the G1 design?

The chest/head of Bruticus looks great. The arms look like they person taking the picture has never played with a Transformer before. And the legs... Are to be expected.

Still 1st day buy for me but with some personal modifications.

First off, I'm ADORING Blast Off. He's with Swindle and Brawl among the better half of the set. With Bruticus, I've looked at concept art, so it seems like Onslaught's hips shouldn't be separated like that. The arms would look better at the sides. My only problems with Vortex is his rotors are oversized and the hands showing from his legs. Otherwise I might just store his rotors when I put him in robot mode.

I do however like what I have seen of the 4 limbs Individual modes, robot and vehicle. Not to happy with Onslaughts separate Bot mode really. Or maybe its his vehicle mode? Just looks off, or that its just too small or missing something is all? The twin cannons perhaps?

Yes, please Hasbro, do NOT let this combiner fall victim to the PCC Shimmies. Or Elvis' pelvis move. Or, just don't let those legs fall inward when posed... ugh!

There have been many, many cases of horrendously mistransformed official pics.
I think the Blast-Off-arm might fold in a bit more, like this:

Regardless, I'm still utterly psyched for this release (though I can't help but wish Vortex was blue/purple and not red/yellow).

Well that is already a small improvement but they would need to do that on the other arm as well as tighten up the hips section, and somehow get rid of the connector pieces at the shoulders. Also do something with that gun or whatever it is in his hand, its a "mess". Im afraid that you can only "hide" so much though, lol

This. It's all about the connectors in the arms, that's really all that bugs me.

I'm actually glad they did all the figures in the same relative size/scale. One thing I despised about most G1 combiners was the fact that you had 1 massive 'leader' figure who was way out of scale with his teammates who were teeny tiny bots/vehicles/animals whatever. In G1, the only combiner that got it right IMO was Predaking, who was hands down the best looking in combined form IMO.

I was hoping this FOC combiner would be like that since they seem to limit WFC/FOC toys all to the Deluxe class scale, and they did, it's just those long connectors that bug me, but I suspect all they really need is a bit of third party clip-on shoulder kibble to make them look good, something that should be quite easy to accomplish.

Good effort on Hasbro's part, but yeah it looks a little underwhelming. Still better than a PCC. I hope and feel it will probably look better once someone gets it in-hand, because it's probably mistransformed and Hasbro stock photos always look like crap.

And they got Vortex the completely wrong color, not sure what's up with that...

What's up with Vortex's colors? I don't usually have a problem with a new color scheme, but considering how G1-inspired the other figures are, it really stands out.

Overall though, I like. It's no Fansproject Bruticus, but definitely unique. Consider this one picked up from me :3

I am totally, completely and thoroughly...underwhelmed. There are only 3 of the 5 that I would even consider as having decent alt modes and the whole thing combined looks like Wheelie would stand a chance of kicking its ass. Apparently we got our hopes up just a little too soon. We thought Hasbro was paying attention but this is proof positive that they don't seem to give a ****! I hope they are paying attention to the boards on here so that they realize just how much they lost in sales by screwing something like this up. :BANG_HEAD:
