The Arialblokes are great too.
Of course, I CAN wait to find them at retail.

The Legends are up as well
They are only as a case of 8 or a set of 2 No way I'm buying that PoS Huffer just for Blackjack. If BBTS doesn't sell them separately my money will be going elsewhere.

How interesting, I want Huffer, but I dont need Blackjack, I would like to help you buying that case of 2, but im not from the US.

Neither am I, it's just cheaper for me to import. I'll just wait for them to appear in store. Thanks anyway, and hope you find Huffer somewhere.Solus Prime wrote:Arctorro wrote:william-james88 wrote:Good news everyone. Not liking the sound of this new Devastator being completely out of scale compared to the other combiner wars releases so i'll be skipping him, which ultimately is a shame.
ps I do actually like the design of Alpha Bravo and especially Offroad but I won't make unnecessary purchases if I can avoid it.

I'm grabbing the Megatrons and Blackjack (already have Powerglide and Bombshell). Not sure about Huffer since I already Have the Igear Ranger, plus Legends Prime and Nemesis. Don't know if I need a third version of the mold.
But those combiners. It's not like you can just get one or two. You have to get the whole shebang and I don't know if my wallet can handle it.
But they look so sweet and tasty.

They are like a cake baked inside an apple pie, dipped in chocolate, topped with a mountain of whipped cream. Mmmm, SINFUL. Be careful.RiddlerJ wrote:NO! MUST RESIST! But they look so sweet and tasty.

I feel like my classics shelf is starting to get a sense of accurate scale, only iGEAR rager is shorter than the rest of the Legends class minibots we've been getting. I always felt like Bumblebee should be the shortest, so CW Huffer gets him a bit more in scale. That's one victory.
I like to buy at retail to support the brand and the hobby, so I try to hold out for a hasbro release if a 3rd party is dropping something. Again, CW Huffer wins.
iGear Rager though... I've added a silver outline autobot reprolabel and touched up his flat blue plastic with a little sky blue to make him more screen accurate. He's the perfect screen accurate G1 huffer.
I don't know what to do!
at least if I get CW Huffer, selling my show accurate Rager would probably generate enough money that huffer paid for himself twice over. :S
What would you guys do?

I've long since given up on trying to get scale correct. If it's possible, I'll try to but I don't fret it if I can't. I'm more about getting as many characters represented as possible. Another reason why I don't know if I need another Huffer since I have one I like.
I am fussy about consistency. The fact that the two prior uses of the mold have partners and this one doesn't bugs the hell out of me for some reason. I can rationalize Bombshell and Powerglide not having them because they're new molds but this is the same reason I held off on Legends Windchanger and Thundercracker. Little things like that scratch at my brain.

You dont even need to go to that extent to see that there is a problem. I simply look at the value and realize that in one year, I am paying the same amount for less toy.

I decided to get CW Huffer. He won't replace Rager, but if something happens to my Rager(pulling out those arms scare me a little) at least I got backup

Target has the CW deluxes on sale for 11.99, but the Legends figures are still 9.95. Does not compute, especially when there is 4x or more plastic in the deluxe figures.

It'll compute once the deluxe price point goes up to $16.99 or so. Enjoy the sale while it lasts.
Also, as far as CW Huffer goes, I'll definitely be picking him up. I already have him and Blackjack preordered with TFSource. I have BotCon 2007 Huffer, which I've enjoyed as my "Classics" Huffer for years, especially pairing him with Cybertron Armorhide as "Pipes", but, despite this new Huffer being a repaint/remold of an Optimus Prime mold, he is more "on model" with his original incarnation being much slimmer in profile. I love BotCon Huffer, but he is a bit "chesty" compared to his G1 self.

Doesnt matter for Canada anymore because as of today, TARGET IN CANADA IS NO MORE! They will leave, along with their exclusives, their business, and I have no clue who will take their place. Its pretty crazy actually, there will be 144 stores gone overnight. But we'll see what kind of discount they give us to get rid of their stock. I dont think we'll be seeign the combiner wars before they leave though.

We got all the beast hunters target exclusives at Tesco in the UK, they're a big supermarket chain (dunno if canada has them) so they'll likely show up somewhere similar. Have there been any more Target exclusives announced since the predacons rising line though?

No price or picture accompanies the listing, but instead we are given a lot of additional details all listed below. Of note is the detail that these will come with a comic book while the first wave toys did not.
First Aid is just as likely to be first on the scene to help a wounded bot as he is to show up to repair a broken dishwasher. To the Protectobot medic, the greatest enemy is malfunction. Human, bot, or machine - if it's broken, First Aid won't carry on until it's back up and running.
Combine and convert for awesome Transformers action! This Protectobot First Aid figure wields his massive axe in robot mode, and he converts fast to combat vehicle mode whenever he needs to blast past his foes for a rescue. But he can also become an arm or leg when the battle calls for you to build a truly hardcore Defensor warrior! (Other figures sold separately.) Whatever mode your Protectobot First Aid figure is in, he's going to bring maximum carnage to the fight.

Protectobot Rook Action Figure
Hasbro Toys - Transformers - Combiner Wars - Deluxe Class - Action Figure - 6"
If you need a rescue deep behind enemy lines or deep beneath battlefield rubble, Rook can get it done. His durabyllium super-alloy armor can withstand punishing blasts and hold up under crushing weight, and his vast tactical knowledge can get him out of any jam.
Combine and convert for awesome Transformers action! This Protectobot Rook figure wields his 2-pronged weapon in robot mode, and he converts fast to armored vehicle mode whenever he needs to rumble through the front lines for a rescue. Describing First Aid as having a "Combat Vehicle Mode" doesn't instill me with confidence in this regard, and makes me question the likelihood of getting a new Ratchet figure that I will like.

I am hoping the same for Hotspot, but I believe it was Chuckdawg that posted, through one of his sources, that Hotspot would be a re-use of OP/Motormaster mold.Gearslide wrote:So if I had to guess, it would seem that Blades will be a retool of Alpha Bravo and First Aid will be a retool of Offroad. Don't think HasTak will re use Three CW toys from wave One and Wave Two for CW Defensor. Think HasTak will re use only one toy for Defensor and it will be a deluxe toy.
Think if any CW combiner stands a great chance of having almost all reused molds it will be Computron. But first there needs to be a CW Bruticus for this to happen, So Brawl can get retooled as Nosecone.
Hoping HasTak does Combiners Wars toys for 2016. So they'll be toys for Computron, Abonimus, Predaking, Bruticus and Piranaking.
