And if I don't ever see it on shelves, gives me a chance to see if Takara does a better paint job.

Yeah, I'm totally down with getting him, but I personally think that they should introduce the Leader class into Generations and upsize Grimlock to be properly scaled with other figures.

I completely agree , leader class should def be reintroduced , only downside being the increase in price

That would be nice to see.
I do like how he goes from mid-size in dino mode to BIG in robot mode.

I concur. Comparison of the two would be very nice.

Sadly, he appears to be a hair shorter than Soundwave/Soundblaster/Blaster.

Yes, but my logic is that those characters are supposed to be Deluxe sized anyway (and Soundwave was, to fit with Megatron and Optimus). Therefore, Grimlock will tower over them all on my shelf!
(I'm not dimissing the cassette/disk holders, just saying that they don't have a place in my collection. Even though they do look pretty.)

It ought to be the other way around. in the game, his dino mode was HUUUUGE compared to his robot mode.Va'al wrote:I do like how he goes from mid-size in dino mode to BIG in robot mode.

Hey, I'm the one wrote that long rant speaking against all the complaints. I love this figure, but I admit it's far from perfect.Va'al wrote:Sabrblade wrote:It ought to be the other way around. in the game, his dino mode was HUUUUGE compared to his robot mode.Va'al wrote:I do like how he goes from mid-size in dino mode to BIG in robot mode.
