Transformers Masterpiece Thrust Revealed at Tokyo Toy Show 2016

The 2016 Tokyo Toy Show is going on right now and will last throughout the week. One of the biggest reveals, along with Unite Warriors Sky Reign (with Ratchet) is Masterpiece Thrust as the next conehead seeker to be released under the Masterpiece Line. This is a retool of Masterpiece Ramjet, whose gallery can be seen here, and whose picture can also be seen below. That mold is itself a retool of MP 11 Starscream. It is unsure if this will be a Takaratomymall exclusive or not so stay tuned!

Depending on the bw mp reveals, it might not be until next year, this year is getting pretty cramped, I feel a little bad for everyone that collects mp's, they're getting crammed down their throats at a ludicrous speed

Dirge is my favorite conehead and Thundercracker my favorite seeker overall, and they leave my fav conehead for last. The wing issue is probably why Dirge is being released last, if at all. I love Dirge, but the lack of a toy-accurate cubehead option is really off-putting.

The white face is right, but I don't know what's up with the black/dark gray parts clashing with the lighter gray parts. Should only be one shade of gray. I think the painted nosecone in vehicle mode at least creates the illusion (if you don't look between his legs) that it becomes Thrust's actual head in the figure, even though it's magically maroon in the cartoon in jet mode. Funny, that's a screen accuracy cheat they could have easily gotten away with if they wanted to.

This pleases me greatly. The contrast on the different grays is greatly increasd on the MP figure, but the color choices do make much more sense now. Thanks, Cyberpath!
Mine finally came back earlier this week. My package shipped out Tuesday. It was a loooong wait, but I'm happy to have a fixed sample for my collection. The QC'd MP Ramjets seem to be arriving at TFSource in waves, so I bet yours will arrive very soon. Good luck!

He looks pretty great, but damn that kibble is gonna get in the way a lot. Honestly, even though this is cartoon accurate, it's FAR m0ore obnoxious than MP-03's hip-pods were.

I'm diggin Thrust a lot more than Ramjet. The leg kibble is unfortunate but it doesn't matter to me since I wasn't going to get the figure anyway.

I've been studying these official images all morning, worried about those wings and posing the legs. And y'know, the MP Seeker legs were never that posable to begin with and I don't think he's any more hampered than Ramjet. So I'm feeling good.
Reservations now aside, I'm really loving him. The gruff look on his face, the colors, it's all great. Go figure though, the only two Seekers I had as a kid are the last to get the MP treatment

Dumb Question guys, but is it really leg kibble? Because it doesnt look like those big wings actually attach to the legs, they just hang off his back downward.

And you can see here, that there's nothing connecting it to the waist, so I'm afraid it is leg kibble
