Even still, I wonder if the pricing was wrong, I really can't see it being $50, even if it does transform.

$40 even seems too much. Are we talking US currency here?

Or £29.99 ($60) in the UK. Grr.

GetterDragun wrote:No, the price is just the store. They sell everything at twice the price...which is why I didn't buy it. Put it this way, Cybertron giant Starscream was $89.99 there. It's just a local toy store here in NY, not a chain.
We got a place just like that here in Madison that was charging about $80.00 for Primus Figures.
Some unknowing parents must have bought them, because they are gone now, but they should have gone to the local Toys R Us as they have about 20 of them, for only $50.
I still feel the local place (happens to be in the mall) will be closing soon as their selection sucks, and so do their prices.

I'd guess either K-Mart or KB Toys, because both are known to over price their toys.

Still, I wonder how much Target or TRU will sell it for?

I'm assuming a lot of people just read the News Story and posted a comment. Could you please write that 50 is higher than the MSRP in the story, to avoid confusion?

Oh yes, the blaster. Finally noticed now. Wonder if it can be modded for paintball

Interesting. Never heard of it. Kinda sad that I can compare them to KB and K-Mart though.

Those have been out out a while now. All of the looking I've done for Devastator in recent weeks, and all I find is stuff I mostly already have and this Ben 10 stuff.

It's not a chain. I don't understand the confusion? There are plenty of independently own toy stores around the country. And often times they have to buy from distributors instead of directly fron the manufacturer resulting in higher prices. What they offer is convenience to the people in the town by being local. Do I shop there, not often. But sometimes they'll have some rare stuff that ends up on e-bay for significantly more than the store is selling them for.

I have a feeling that toys r us will be heading down that road to if they dont fix there prices.

Agreed! My TRU still has DVD Prime priced at $90. It's not gonna sell at that price, considering everywhere else already liquidated theirs for $50 or less.

While I was half-joking, I also don't really follow toy lines. It's just that I first heard about this Ben 10 on AFN and never thought it would have it's own toy line. I guess I should be expecting a toy line for every cartoon out there from now on
Aaand, does anyone know if one size fits all? I know at the Show West gig it seemed pretty much one size fits all, but anyone else, preferably any adult hand, ever held this blaster?
